Chobi:
Mii'zer had wandered away from the family to get a bit of breath air. Also to get a heads up on training . He was behind! His brothers and sister were starting to get really good and catching up to him fast. That wouldn't do he needed to be stronger and faster if he was going to win the prize.
So Mii'zer had gone to the watering hole, alone, in high hopes to find someone to challenge. The watering hole was empty , however, when he arrived. It didn't anger Mii'zer though or even annoy him. It was a good chance to practice swimming after all. Looking over his shoulder a few times the cub sprinted for the water and stomped his feet yelling as he did.
"TAKE THAT AND THAT AND THAT! " He clawed at the water, "I'm gonna get you!" He growled.
Keantha:
He would hear a familiar sing song voice from the other side of a huge bolder. " Shiney!! Nooooo shiney don't go away!! I love you shiney!!"
Chobi:
Mii'zer continued clawing at the water paying no mind to his brothers voice. He was in attack mode after all and his sole purpose as of right now was to kill the water. He'd be at it for hours if someone didn't come and stop him.
"And that!" The cheetah smacked a clawed paw into the gritty sand and water below sending dirt and water flying. Some got in Mii'zers eyes.
"GRAWH" He cried.
Keantha:
Chen poked his head around the rock, a brightly colored little bird sitting on his head. "Miz?? Miz you ok? You aren't hurt are you? Oh god mom will flip if you are hurt!!" He rushed to his brother, his little passanger still clinging to his mane as he nosed his brother all over. " SPEAK TO ME!!"
Chobi:
Mii'zer heard a voice, Chen. The male cheetah wiggled his nose and pawed at his eyes. "I can't see!" He growled and tried to paw harder at his eyes.
He wasn't blinded for life, just his eyes were shut so tight after the shock of the water attacking back.
Keantha:
Chen whimpered trying to nuzzle him " Oh no!! Hang on Miz I will get momma!! Just don't die!!" He wailed
Chobi:
Mii'zer growled, "Hey! Don't get mom! Im not gonna die!" He opened an eye and stared at Chen. He winced and shut it again a tear falling down his cheek. The sand was still in his eye but it would come out its own.
"owowowowowOW," Mii'zer wailed pawing at his face.
Keantha:
Chen mewled helplessly dnacing from foot to foot " Miz..." He wwas terrorfied! What if his brother really WAS dying?!
Chobi:
Mii'zer shook his head from side to side in a desperate attempt to rid him self of the sand. Then he dunk his head in the water and shook off. Still his eyes were in pain.
"OWWWW!" He wailed. Tears ran down his cheek. Finally after a moment the cheetah cub opened his eyes. They were a little red and irritated but he was fine and not gonna die.
"See I'm fine," The cub grumped his eyes still a glow with red.
Keantha:
"YAY MIZ OK!!!" Chen danced around his brother happily, the little bird chirping and singing along.
Chobi:
Mii'zer couldnt help but secretly smile watching his brother dance a round with a bird. He was an odd cheetah.
"Yeah yeah don't make a big deal about it." He eyed the little bird, "Where did THAT come from?"
Keantha:
Chen blinked at him tilting his head "What bird?" The little bird tilted it's head too both fo them staring at him curious
Chobi:
Mii'zer eyed his brother and the bird.
"You mean to tell me you just now realized a bird was on your head?" He snorted, humored by the thought. "You're a trip Chen. Come on lets get home before the water starts to retaliate.."
Keantha:
"OH MY GOD!! Shiney didn't leave me!!!" He squealed happily looking up at the brightly colored bird on his head
Chobi:
Mii'zer shook his head, "Shiney?" The blue cheetah looked quite amused. "You named that bird shiney?" He pawed at his brother.
"I can't say Im surprised though," Mii'zer gave Chen an approving nod.
Keantha:
CHen beamed at his brother happily, " Well yeah...He is shiney!" He knew he wasn't as smart as his siblings, but his was such a happy nature that it was easy to forget it.
Chobi:
Miizer shook his head, "Well come on. We should get going. Bring your 'Shiney' too if you want.." The cheetah started stalking off toward the den. He was amused even if it didn't show.
Keantha:
Chen danced after his brother, hopping and skipping ever fourth step, his tail end shaking. "So bubba you gonna save the princess?"
Chobi:
"Bubba?" The cheetah blinked and stared at Chen. "Bubba? ....." He wasn't sure what to make of the nickname.
"Yeah of course Im gonna save the princess. I'm the best of the best," He puffed his chest out.
Keantha:
"...Bubba can I tell you a secret?"
Chobi:
Mii'zer sneered at being called Bubba again but he nodded. "...Sure.."
Keantha:
"I don't wanna save the princess, cause then I would have to leave momma." He shuffled his feet looking down.
Chobi:
Mii'zer looked completely surprised by the confession from his brother. He hadn't thought that any one wouldn't want to save the princess. The blue cheetah blinked and stared at his brother, his face completely in shock.
"You don't want to save the princess? " He blinked again.
Keantha:
"I mean I would like to help her, no one should suffer. But I don't think I would like having to stay with her." He looked up at him, for once his gaze serious. "I am happiest when I am running with momma, or dancing and singing with Shiny."
Chobi:
Mii'zer tilted his head at his brother but didnt say anything. He wasn't sure what to say to that at all. Well he wasn't sure if he had anything that wouldn't be insulting. Pilate didn't like Mii'zer or any of the cubs fightings. They all had to get along is what she always said.
"Errr.." He smiled, "Come on I bet mommas got dinner ready.." He pawed his brother and took off.
Keantha:
Chen giggled happily racing after his brother, his tail lashing the air. He loved racing with his brother, running flat out as fast as he could. Honestly it was unlikly that any of his siblings could match his sped when the youngster really tried
Chobi:
The two raced all the way home to a surprised Pilate who indeed did have dinner ready when they arrived.
