Gift: Running- Zeke had always been good at running, but he only started it as a hobby when he realized that the only part of P.E. kickball that he enjoyed was running from base to base. He kept on running, and eventually his junior high gym teacher asked him if he wanted to join the Track and Field team. He was excellent at running and hurdles, but fell short with shot-put and javelin tossing. So, when he entered high school he joined the cross-country team and hasn’t looked back. Well, he didn’t look back until he was noticed by Barren Pines.

Virtues:

Humble -- He may be at Barren Pines, and he may be good at cross-country, but is that really something to boast about? Zeke is just a simple student, and compliments usually make his ears turn red.

Temperance -- Zeke believes in moderation in all things, from being lazy on a Saturday to eating junk food (except for taquitos, he has a tendency to eat an entire box of them without realizing it until it’s too late). He generally disapproves of his friends indulging themselves too much, and wants to help them better themselves.

Simple -- Zeke isn’t a very complex boy. He enjoys everyday pleasures and takes time to appreciate the little things. He’ll be the first to tell you that he’s the happiest when he’s running without a care in the world, and able to leave his troubles behind.

Flaws:

Failed Humor -- Zeke doesn’t dislike humor. In fact, he quite enjoys it. But when he tries to crack a joke himself, people tend to stare at him like he has an arm sprouting out of his ear. The guy just isn’t funny. When he tries to be sarcastic, people think that he’s being serious, and his puns are always lame. This adds to his overall social awkwardness.

Not the Sharpest Crayon in the Box -- Zeke isn’t stupid, really. He’s been called a moron plenty of times in his life, and is used to it by now. He has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth, act without thinking, and it might take him an extra minute to fully comprehend what’s really going on. He jumps to conclusions and might stare at you blankly for a few moments before asking: “What?”

Clueless -- Are you trying to be subtle? Maybe discreetly flirting or hinting at a plan or inside joke? Yeah, it’s going to go right over his head. You have to be pretty blunt with Zeke, or else he just won’t get it.
