The Cave of Trials
After looking up, you find yourself in the middle of a small open glade of a forest in the evening, when light was still out. The air is warm, but silent, with nothing but the rustling of trees. Looking ahead, you see a small corridor in the trees, which leads to a small spring. The water is crystal clear and you can see straight through to the bottom of the spring to crystals which glow in the moonlight. Around the lake on both sides, the ground rises up in two ramps, to a 20 ft high ledge where the mouth of a cave can be seen. You can see a glimmering sign with kanji at the top of the cave's entrance, but it's too far away to read at the moment. --- Mission Details --- Cobra has asked you to retrieve a relic from The Cave of Trials. He has heard that there lies a gemstone of fairly unique properties at the end of the cave, called the Bloodstone. The stone is rumored to have the ability to cleanse one's blood of any foreign toxin when a sufficient amount of chakra is placed into it. All that is known about the stone is that it is red in color and has veins of a different color which run through it's core. Cobra has given you 2 vials each, one contains a red liquid, which is a mild poison which causes dizziness and nausea, and the other contains a blue liquid which is the antidote. He expects you to bring back the Bloodstone only after having tested its power to assure it is the correct one.

Haruko was just about to reply to Cobra's statement when she suddenly felt the ground beneath her open and she fell, "Aaaahhhhhhh!" Haruko yelped as she felt the sudden drop. While falling she glared angrily at nothing and complained about Cobra in her head. 'Oh, I really hate that man, always doing whatever he pleases,' Suddenly she felt her feet hit something like a net, the law of phyics click in her head and she knew what was going to happen next, "Oh no...this is going to suck. Now I really dislike you Cobra-san." she muttered under her breath before she felt herself being slung upwards.
As suddenly as she felt herself flung upwards, she was suddenly in the air above the forest where the cave was located, 'Weird...' Looking at both sides she saw Akio, Kyoma, and Kenji. 'What a relief, we all made it out okay.' Suddenly remembering that they were still in midair, Haruko quickly tried to react but her body wouldn't listen to her, 'Guess that experience really affected my body. Tsk, what should I do now?!'

"WAIT!..." Kenji was barely even to finish the statement before he found himself falling uncontrollably in a free fall. after trying to claw at the walls using Kunai, shuriken and everything else he could to stop his decent, he finally gave up, relaxing his body as he embraced the fact that he would die any second now..."...that's what I get for trusting an insane man I guess." In a pleasant surprise however he soon felt his fall cushioned as he breathed a sigh of relief, though the comfort was short lived as he could feel the elastics strands stopping his moment..
"Oh dear god..." Kenji was immediately sick to his stomach at the speed of his ascent, but when he saw the lightning rift, and hit it without much warning, every sense in his body was driven hyper as he found himself speechless and unable to even truly comprehend what was happening to him. After finally coming to, floating above the ground, and realizing that he couldn't move a muscle in his body...Kenji found himself with only one thing to say as his voice shaked uncontrollably..."I'm...going...t-to...kill that man..."

Kyoma was calm during the first five seconds of the fall, but as time seemed to go by very slowly, she began to panic. She tried to hold onto the walls, but there was nothing to grab on to. Don't worry, Kyo, you just have to calm down. She tried to listen to that thought, but as she felt herself being lifted back up, a sick feeling crawled into her stomach. She gritted her teeth, trying not to let the sick feeling in her stomach fall to the floor.
Just at that moment, she felt herself suddenly stop. She looked around, Kenji, Haruko, and Akio all floating in the air. She looked down and found herself doing the same thing. She looked up and gave a slight smile. "Well that was fun," she said this sarcastically, the words themselve betraying her thought on how horrible that experience felt.

DM Narration :
Not long after Kyoma had spoken, everyone in the party suddenly felt themselves falling again, as apparently the floating from the porting technique had ended. With a loud thud, Akio hit the forest floor first, which woouldn't have been so bad, if Kenji did not land directly on top of him a second later...followed by Haruko landing directly on top of Kenji...then Kyoma landing on top of Haruko, completing the 4-person human tower.
...everyone could now at the very least move around, though the pain and shock from the technique was still lingering...especially for Akio, considering his position.

Kenji found himself in anew kind of pain then the one from the porting technique as he had the two girls land on him from a height of 15 ft, but more then anything else, he was extremely embarrassed to have Haruko fall directly on top of him...
"Haruko, I'm so sorry, I would never, I mean, I wouldn't ever...not on purpose, please forgive me, I had no idea...please." Kenji struggled to move, but all he ended up doing was hurting himself more and making him more uncomfortable by fidgeting beneath Haruko. forcing himself to calm down amidst the embarrassment, Kenji regained his composure and with a deep breath returned to a calmed voice..."Kyoma...do you think you could be so kind as to get off first..."

"Eek" Haruko yelped before she felt herself falling straight down into the forest. Her body was still in shock making it hard for any body movements. 'Oh s***, this is going to hurt alot.' Haruko squeezed her eyes shut and waited for the painful impact with the ground.
...But it never came, instead she felt herself land on something soft. Before she even had time to consider what/who she landed on, she suddenly felt the weight of someone land on her back. "Ouch," Haruko muttered before she slowly opened her eyes to see what/who she landed on, as well as who was now sitting on her back.
A deep scarlet blush immediately made its way to Haruko's face as she realized that it was Kenji that she had fallon on top on. 'OMG! This can't be happning, it's so embrassing. Copying Kenji, Haruko began to stutter with a reply while trying to get off of him, unsuccessfully. "Um...I'm so sorry Kenji-san. I really didn't mean too fall on you, I didn't even know that I would land here...oh..." Haruko turned her head to look away from Kenji and tried calming herself down.

"Sure." She jumped off with ease. Though she was still a little shaken from the porting techinque, the fall wasn't so bad since she landed on the top. She dusted off invisible dust from her clothes before she lent both hands out to Haruko and Kenji. "Sorry, guys. I guess I just got lucky."
After helping the other two on their feet, she lent her hand out to Akio who had more trouble standing then everyone else. She then looked around the area. "Wow," she smiled, "this place is amazing."

After being helped up, Kenji held his head for a second before shaking it and the rest of his body in an attempt to cast off the remaining chills of the porting and falling. So far, the mission was an interesting one, and if this was just the start, there's no telling what else laid ahead of them.
"I am deeply sorry Haruko.", Kenji said as he bowed to her as an apology..."It seems to have just been a run of bad luck...I did not mean to embarrass you though. Besides, I think that trip was equally jarring for all of us."
...looking around, Kenji took the sights in which were impressive, but was focused on the task of the mission as well. "I wonder if we're anywhere near the cave we are supposed to go to."
