Hello members of ~Wish Upon a Star~! This is the third grand contest that this guild has hosted! First we had a TekTek one, then writing, and now art! What is art? Well, art is an interpretation of a theme or idea. It could be a person’s version of Chopin or a TekTek for a theme. This time is art of two captains, Alustrial777 and Naisu-chan! You can do one of them or both!
Any style (chibi, realistic, etc.) works! You can submit as many as you want, but they can’t be simple modifications of another (ex- such as submitting something and then submitting another with stars added to the backround of the same entry).

1st: -My Litlle Shadow- : I love, love, love how everything is just so detailed, from the lace on the hat, down to the little curls at the end of the hair. Just beautiful. c: heart
2nd: FearDePucca : Aw, I don't know what to say, it's just so cute. 4laugh heart
3rd: zionfire : It's adorable, and I absolutely love the detail put into the joints on the arms. The facial expressions is also just, adorable. whee

Alustrial’s Comments:
1st: FearDePucca : First off, amazing chibi artwork! heart Unknowingly, you made me what I was wanting in this whole contest. If it was her whole body with the sword raised over her head and she had a little o mouth (like she’s shouting) it’d be perfect! Once again, nice job!
2nd: Kogane-Maru : Yay, colored artwork and full body! blaugh I love the detail you put into the work and you could have gotten 1st had not there been a few little things that I noticed (legs a little thick, form of the ankle close to her skirt possibly forgotten). Anyways, I still can’t help but think of Kill Bill when it comes to this pic (in a good way)! I also enjoyed how you creatively changed the star behind her to still be the same, but still something of your own.
3rd: Elspeth Telrunya : My, I could tell that you worked really hard on mine. You added detail in almost every aspect and when you take a close look at her, it’s simply amazing! Her face is gorgeous and her legs are finely shaped! She also has a great piratey look being on what could be a ship with her map of planned destination! I would be a little careful about the shadow that’s on her arm because it makes it look out of proportion unless you look close enough. A great job! 3nodding
People Worth Honoring:
Lady~Mihoshi : This is very beautiful! I will be using this picture for comment posting from now on along with Mr Plushiie’s. Her lips have a wonderful shape and her hair flows nicely in the picture. I light pinch of blush was also another great effect! whee One little thing to point out is the line for her collar bone isn’t as refined as everything else in the picture.
Mr Plushiie : I loved your work of me! She has a nice stoic look and is very pretty, but I felt that the art needed a bit more detail added in. The bow could have more detail in it (like where bow curves in the fabric and such). Overall though, it was nicely done and I liked it that you kept the earrings blue! blaugh
-My Litlle Shadow- : What you did what pretty amazing! I loved the detail of the skirt, shirt, and tights! From the little changes put into her, she looks like a high school girl laying in bed! whee One thing that I wasn’t too sure about is her mouth shape, it looks a little funny. The eye patch almost matches into the hair to where you think that it is hair. I think the other thing is just that nothing fills 3/5 of the left side. Adding one of her weapons or a book would make that area seem less empty. Lovely work I must say though.
Here's the surprise though. Everyone who participated and didn't receive a placing gets 2.5k from ourselves, Naisu-chan and I for we know that all of you worked so hard and still deserve a little something. 3nodding
