Chobi: She was on the prowl, the little jackal stalked through the grass with one purpose in mind. Kill, and bring back dinner for her and her sister. This never was an easy task for one so small like her self. More and more Bura felt her sister had a point. They needed a pack of their own.
But for now, she prowled. Making the best out of what she could.
Ness: Layan had wondered away from her family, curious little creature she was wanted to see more of the world. She was drawn to color mostly, being so bright herself she wanted to know more abotu color, and her family didn't provide much inperation, as they were all brown, black and white, with the exception of her self, and one of her older brothers.
She had ducked her head down into some long grass to sniff a purple flower she had found. She smiled, flowers really were wonderful little plants. The young foal was niave, she didn't think much abotu how much her bright blue pelt stood out against the browns and greens of the desert, her and her family lived in a heard that was protected by a lion god, she had no need to think of these things.
CHobi: There it was, sniffing a flower. Bura didnt see a young foal infront of her but a tastey meal. There it was just sniffing that flower. Bura grinned a toothy grin and started forward being very quiet as she did so.
At the last moments she started sprinting and gnashing her teeth toward the foal. The hunger drove her towards her pray only to skid to a stop.
"You're just a baby!" She exclaimed mouth half open in an almost bite state.
Ness: Layan looked up, at the jackal that had comign running at her, she had seen other jackals in the pack and was confused as to why this one was so angry looking, and confused.
She stared blankly at her for awhile before fiding her voice burried deep down in her throat, "Yes I am a baby?" she said it more as a question then a statement, this whole intereaction was very confusing for her.

Chobi: The jackal looked very disappointed. "This won't do this won't do.." She shook her head and paced in a circle.
"Kid why are you out here on your own? I coulda eaten you. " She shook her head and just paced. She was still pretty disappointed. Bura wasnt about to kill a baby.
Ness: Layan was confued, she had never thought of herself as food before, not to a jackal at least, she had friends that were jackals. Her eyes began to feel with tears, suddenly very afraid. "I... I was out her sniffing flowers and finding colors." she managed to stammer out before bursting into tears.
She looked around herself because of how upset she was she suddenly had no idea of what direction home was, or how she got her, or what to do, all these feelings of course only made her cry harder.
Chobi: The jackals ears flattened feeling like she had upset. "Shhh shhh its alright its alright. I was .. ehhhh joking?"
She looked around to make sure no one was attracted by the little faols cries and stood protectively infront of her. "We ... should go find your parents.."
Ness:
Layan's eyes brightened, perhaps the jackal knew where to find her parents, her home, her safety. "You know where they are?" she asked quietly hoping that the answer would be an imediate yes right this way.
She rose to her feet and looked at the jackal closer, then realize she didn't know the others name, "My name is Layan'Ura" she told the Jackal "Who are you?"

Chobi: Bura lifted a brow. She never thought she'd hear dinner introduce it self.
"Bura," She mumbled, "Come on kid we cant stay here. I can find your parents assuming the smell like you," Her wet nose sniffled at the faol, "Just let me find your scent.." Bura started sniffing the ground like crazy trying to find some where that smelt like this little faol.
Ness: Layan stood up bouncing her way behind Bura, "I think my parents would smell like me, I mean I live with them all the time, and we all sleep together, nice and close to stay warm. But they would smell like my siblings too, I have three litter mates, they sleep with my parents too." The cub continued to ramble on beind Bura, totally unaware that she might not want to hear what Layan had to say. Layan had already bounced back from her moment of breif fear into her carefree loving self.
Chobi: Bura didnt say anything about the cheerfulness. Her biggest concern was getting this meal, I mean faol, back to its parents before a real predator took this chance to grab a bite to eat. A lion or heck a hyena could easily chase Bura off.
Finally she found the scent, "Come one. Its this way," She started padding and sniffing at the same time like a hound on a bloody trail.
Ness: Layan followed closely being Bura, probably to closely if Bura were to suddenly stop Layan would probably plow right into the back of her. Layan didn't notice that Bura was perhaps a little irritated by the loss of a potential meal, she was too busy watching her smell.
Layan herself lowered her nose to the ground trying to find whatever it was that Bura could smell, "I don't smell anything." she announced

Chobi: Bura squeezed her eyes shut and mumbled some kind of curse word.
"You're nose isnt like jackal," She said in a bit of an annoyed mannor. Why she was out here helping this meal back home she wasn't sure. Bura was still cursing her self for helping this faol.
Finally she caught site of a herd up ahead after padding, "Is that where you live?"
Ness: Layan picked her nose from the ground and glanced around the jackle and gasped, "Yes that is my home!!" she shouted, she began to run towards it without a second thought, then she turned back towards Bura, "Thank you!" she mummbled walking back over toward the jackle and giving her a nuzzle. Then the foal ran back towards her home, happy to see it, she had such a story to tell her siblings.
Chobi: Bura was surprised when the faol ran back and nuzzled her. A warm smile grew on her maw and she nodded as the baby ran back home. "Take care," She whispered and turned her back on the herd.
The jackal still needed to find something worth while to drag back home. Something not a baby. And so Bura disappeared into the shadows of the tall grass.
