The little female had spent her day watching the pride, and observing them. She wanted to be nothing more than an amazing banu one day..Maybe even someones Beybanu, which is what she truly hoped for. She had alot of good qualities..But she really didn't want anything right now. Father would decide when she was ready, and she wanted to focus on playing with her family and Pride mothers.
Of course, her aspiriations were in check. She knew what she wanted out of life.

Her tail flicked from side to side, idly waiting. She was watching a few of the lionesses, and she could hear them talking about the cubs that were arriving.
They were excited, of course. Cubs meant life. The fact that cubs were coming into the pride, meant they were being successful.

She smiled and couldnt help but feel proud. Life was good in her pride, and she couldn't imagine life without everyone.

But soon she grew bored, and leapt from the rock on which she sat. A proud smile passing over her face.
She could be just as good as anyone else, she just knew it!

Aziz'Din had spent the first half of his day playing with Shahla, one his favourite sisters. Mostly because she was the only one younger then him but he did enjoy her company sometimes. After a while, he had slipped off to go and watch the males who had gathered to talk but had soon gotten bored. They were talking about their Banus and Aziz'Din hadn't grow up quite enough to actually want to hear them talk about that. He would have the best Banus in the pride, yes of course, but he wasn't thinking of it seriously for now.

On his way back towards the den, already planning to see if Shahla wanted to play, he spotted another female cub nearby. She seemed to be watching the pride too, which was one of Aziz'Din's favourite pastimes when his father was busy.

For a moment, the male cub pondered continuing back to the den, but deciding against it. He moved towards the young cub with a confidence that he had always seemed to have.
“Hello!”
Unfortunately, his confidence had not yet extended to his speech and he was stumped as to what else to say to the female as he came to a stop near her rock.

Light blue toes tiptoed around the pride, trying not to get in anyones way, or cause anyone grief for being away from her fathers Banu.
She smiled inwardly at being so slick, and able to get away.
Though she knew that she would not go far. She was not willing to get in trouble with father.
She liked to avoid confrontations.

The male that approached her, startled her almost. Though the pride being rather large, she should have been expecting someone to approach at a given time. She wasnt being very friendly if she was watching the pride so well that she did not notice the other.
With a turn of her head, she looked the male over.

"Hello!" She replied friendly, a happy smile passing over her face. He looked like her Uncle Aali, so she was rather sure that he was related to her in some form of fashion. She liked the fact that she had so much family within the pride. It made her feel happy, as there was no way she could ever be truly lonely within it.

"You're Uncle Aali's boy, arentcha?"
She asked.

Eying the black and blue banu, Aziz'Din could vaguely remember seeing her before, or at least he had seen someone who looked similar to her before. There were a lot of cubs around though, it could have simply been a sibbling of hers. Din hadn't been around other cubs that weren't family before.

“Yes,” he said slowly, almost suspiciously, in response to her question. Her colours were familiar, and so where her markings. He faintly realised that she had said 'Uncle Aali' not Sultan.

“Oh!”
He said suddenly, eyes widening. “You must be Vizier Faiz's girl.” He knew Father and Faiz were related somehow, but in his mind it was fair more respectful to call him by his title.

He eyed her again, this time with more interest. “Which one are you? He has a lot of daughters.” He sounded faintly disgruntled at that fact. His father should have the most daughters to give out, not one of the Viziers. He held no ill-will against the other male though, or his kin. He just didn't like seeing his father beaten in anything, even something as trivial as the amount of daughters he had. Though he wasn't sure the exact number each male had, he just knew there was a lot.

She thought her father quite special for being able to have so many children to his name, and so she didn't hear the tone in his voice when he asked the question. She giggled, and let her tail flick back and forth between her legs.

"I'm daughter of Mzuka'hila. Yes there are a great many of us, I suppose it would be hard to tell which I was." She nodded, with no intent at bragging about the fact. It was just a fact, and she was agreeing with it.

"My name's Arezoo. But I prefer to be called Zoey, it sounds better, dontcha think?"
She asked with a raised eyebrow.

He eyed her, vaguely remembering the banu he spoke of in response to his uncle's harem. She did look a little like her mother, so that helped spark his memory, though she seemed more similar to Uncle Faiz to Aziz'Din at least. "You remind me of Vizier Faiz, but I can see some of your mother in you," he remarked, as if she would be interested in it, watching her curiously. He hadn't met too many other Banus, other than his sisters.

Zoey. It sounded more like her. Arezoo sounded a little more formal and she didn't seem the formal type. "It suits you," he told her, pausing before he realised he would have to introduce himself as well. "My name is Aziz'Din." He hesitated, before volunteering, "my sisters usually call me Aziz or Din." It wasn't really extending the nickname so she could use it always, but it was an option if she wanted it.

She knew she looked like her father. She even had her fathers eye marking, which was something she was very proud of. She knew her father was proud of it too, because every time he saw her, he told her how beautiful she was.
She smiled, and nodded, thinking about her mother and father. Mother was sweet, and father was stern. She supposed they were perfect for each other, and she wanted a Pad that was just as perfect for her..

Though she was thankful she still had some time before that was a needed option.

"Pleasure to meetcha Aziz. I like meeting others in the pride. I hope to meet everyone someday."
She smiled, and knew that one day, she would attempt at conversing and learning each and every member of the pride..

"How many sisters do you have?" She asked, cocking her head and looking at him with teal gleaming eyes.
She loved meeting other Banu, and cubs at that!

Aziz'Din tilted his head to teh side curiously as she spoke. Meet everyone in the pride? That was possible, he supposed. He had seen most everyone in the pride but he had never actually...met them, at least not yet. "I wish you luck then," he told her. "There are a lot of pride members!" He chuckled lightly, thinking that just between their two families, they were taking up most of the pride.

He paused at her question. How...many did he have? He could count a few, but he didn't know how many of them there were. They moved too fast and the den was too crowded for him to count them properly. "A lot," he told her, before attempting to count in his head. "Nine," he said, trying to sound certain though he wasn't. There was still a lot.

"How many do you have?"
He asked, curious over who had the most daughters now.

She too, was at a loss for how many siblings that she had. She knew that father had done a very good job of being fertile through his Banus, but she wasnt sure just all the cubs that were there, she preferred to watch others.. She didn't interact with her siblings much.

"Oh I dont think it will take luck. I think that eventually it will be fate." She smiled, though she spoke bigger words than she truly knew. She had a faint concept on what fate was, and she really wasnt quite sure what she was talking about.

"I havee..." She started to count in her head, and her eyes took on a baffled look.

"I have no idea. How smart you are for knowing just how many!" She smiled.

"Fate?"
He asked, sounding curious. The young cub didn't really believe in that concept. If you wanted something, you had to make it happen, not wait for it to somehow happen on it's own. Wasn't that what fate was?

He laughed when she gave a baffled look. "It was mostly a guess," he admitted. "They don't stay still long enough for me to count them, even in my head. It's like a...blur of cubs or something." He shook his head. "That's why I leave the den a lot. Too many people."

He was acting more friendly, treating her more like one of his sisters rather then just a random cub he had met in the pride. They were related at least, so it made sense that he was friendly with her.

She smiled bemused. The little fairy tale mind of the female always working. She believed everything happened for a reason, and that fate was almost impossible to change. In her mind, what was going to happen, would happen, regardless of what you tried to do to change it.
But she flicked her tail and offered a little smile.

"Well then it was a very clever guess, and you should be commended." She mused, with a grin. She liked him, and since they were related, she felt that she didnt have to be afraid that her friendship would turn into someone wanting to take her over. She felt.. a sense of safety talking to the male that was her Cousin.

"Im not in the den often. Too much to seee!"

Aziz'Din gave a small smile in return for her compliment, nodding his head. "Thank you," he told her, quite honestly. He liked being complimented, especially when they were about his skills and he was quite proud of his skills. He was trying to improve of them everyday, if he could.

He tilted his head to the side, looking curious. "Too much to see?" He asked, with a small frown. "I watch pride members, but I can't imagine what else interesting there is to see around here." He wondered what she'd seen. Had she seen something he hadn't? What was he missing out on?
