It had been a long time since he had been to a mall, lots of different type of thought came back to him when he was younger. The fun times he had and meeting new friends and somethings he really didn't want to remember.
It had been a bit cold comming here so Ciaran had wandered to the food court to find something warm to drink. Walking there he went over in his head to what he need to look for and to buy. He did need some new clothing since he had grown and some winter clothing as well. Getting a hot chocolate, he sat down to enjoy it before doing what he need to do, with his tail swishing back and forth slowly behind him in the chair.

Ebony happened to be in the mall that day, wandering around and buying a few early Christmas presents. As she entered the food court for lunch, the teen though she spotted someone familiar. When she'd been very small - around Christmas the previous year - she had met an older boy from Sevens named Ciaran. And while she hadn't seen him in the past year, the teen was almost positive she saw him up ahead.
Rushing over to where she thought she saw the pretty feathered tail, the teen girl soon spotted what seemed to be her old acquaintance, though quite a bit bigger. Then again, she'd been a toddler when she met Ciaran so really they both were bigger now. Tapping him lightly on the shoulder, she smiled.
"Hey there! You're Ciaran, right?"

Not really paying attention to his suroundings as the hot chocolate was very good and was enjoying it. But he gave a small yelp when someone tapped him on the shoulder and also knew who he was. So he turned around to find Ebony. He was a little scared of her but once he figured it out it was an old friend and was shocked she was bigger now, but then thought that everyone grows. He looked her over and liked how she looked now and returned the smile.
"Yes I am and I take it your Ebony?" he replied and also wanted to make sure it was her as a lot of things had happened since the last time they had met.

"Yes that's me." She laughed, moving to hug him a bit. "Wow, it's been forever! How've you been?" the teen asked warmly, smiling at the boy. He'd been so nice when they'd first met and she was sad that the two of them hadn't been able to meet up again later.
"Is the cocoa any good?" the pink haired girl inquired for lack of other things to talk about. She'd wanted to have some lunch anyway hadn't she?

Ciaran got out of his chair and gave Ebony a hug and pulled out a chair for her to sit. "It has been forever," he said with a smile. "Life has had its ups and downs but I be doing fine." he replied to that question as he rubbed his wrists a little.
"Its good, its some of the best I have had in a long time. So what have you been up to besides getting bigger?"

Ebony smiled cheerily. "Oh all sorts of things. Took up babysitting for a while, that was fun." she told him, "Got to meet all sorts of little kids. Have you gotten to meet anyone new or fun lately?"

Ciaran listened to Ebony and sounded like she had lots of fun. Yes he had met new people but some of them were met in the not so nice time of his life. "That is very cool. I have met some new people, I have moved in with one of my guardien's friends that is a load of fun. I have had some fun most of it recent in hanging out with Luthor." he answered, not really sure on how to tell her that he went craze for a time and spent a better part of his pre-teen in the Labs, its not like he was ashamed of what happened he just didn't know how to tell or how she would take it.
"So what brought you to the mall?"

"Oh, well that's good." the girl said happily, her colored hair bouncing as she bobbed her head a bit.
"Hm? I came to get some early Christmas presents before the rush to buy them started. How about you? Just hanging about?"

Ciaran thought that Ebony had a good idea on getting Christmas present early and would have to think on what he wanted to get his friends later.
"I'm here to get some winter clothing as I lack any at home but I'm haveing a hard time finding things I would want to wear. As I really hate to wear shirt or anything of that kind." he replied to her.

"Mm, how about some scarves or a sweater that you can keep open at the front?" the other teen suggested pleasantly, smiling at her friend. "Or a hat or earmuffs? There's all sorts of things that you could wear that'd be nice and warm."

He did shugger a little at the mention of a sweater as it was still to close to what he had worn, but like the other sugesstions. "Well I never thought of those before," he replied as he was still new to the whole shopping for himself, but if it did get really cold he would need to have something to cover him all up, so he would get one sweater and that was it.
"So, would you mind helping me find some clothes?" he ask a little sheepishly. "After we get something to eat first," he added as he looked at the clock on the wall.

Ebony got herself a small lunch - just a sandwich and a cocoa - before waiting for Ciaran to get his. "Was there anywhere you intended to start your shopping?" she inquired, taking her seat once more when they had their trays and carefully cutting her sandwich in half.

Ciaran got a slice of pizza and some more hot chocolate and when back to were Ebony was waiting for him. "No there wasn't I was a little lost when I tryed to find something," he said sheepishly as he had the same proplem when he got out and when shopping for some pants, but now he was good at that. As he sat down with Ebony. "When I was little things were just got for me. Then I had a friend help me out the last time and the only thing I'm good at looking for are pants," he said a little imbariced and took a quick bite of his pizza.
