 Pwani stalked along the river, following a crab that had decided to travel inland for some ODD reason. Not that she was complaining. It gave her something to do! Brown paws became near black as they ended up covered in mud and sand from the beach, then the riverbed. She grinned as the crab stopped, investigating something. The juvenile crouched...then pounced!
And got a face full of mud. The crab had skittered away just in time, leaving Pwani to pout. Stupid crab! Wasn't so fun after all...She sighed and stood, shaking her muddy form a bit. And then blinked. Wait a second...OH! She'd hit the edges of the pride lands again! Huh...She tilted her head and trotted along the scent-marked 'line' for a moment. She always seemed to end up here at least once every other day...

Eyes blinked as the boy tilted his head. The leaves....just over there...had they moved? Lifting his ears alertly, Tap kept close attention on the plants curiously. They were pretty big and leafy, even if they were growing in simple and loose sand.
He didn't know how he had ended up here, honestly. He had just been staring at his own paws, wandering for exercise, when he noticed the change in earth. The ground turned lighter, then softer and dusty. It was really....odd. But look! Shaking off his thoughts, the lion noticed a strange red.....bug? Walking sideways and quite quickly too. But why? Then all of a sudden, another lion pounced into the scene. Tap eeped to the sudden surprise, and skittered back as the brown marked girl made to stand.

The brown and white juvenile found herself face-to-face with another young lion. She blinked...then grinned. "Hiya!" Had to have been someone from OUTSIDE, 'cause she did NOT remember him. And Pwani had a pretty good memory! Not near as good as her Mom's but...well, it was still better than your av-e-rage lioness~
"Where'd you come from? My name's Pwani'wingu! But y'can call me Pwani!"
