Unwelcome Boulder Academy is most likely one of the greatest secrets of the world. It's location is only known to a select few, and few more than that outside it's walls even know of it's existence. The school's motto is "Videor Nunquam, Audio Nunquam, Diffama Nunquam," which loosely translated means, "Never Seen, Never Heard, Never Known." The school was built by assassins, for assassins.

Unwelcome Boulder's goal is to train it's students in the ways of death, deceit, and trickery. Only the best of the best are allowed entrance to the school, and only the best of them even survive past the first year. And as anyone knows, the best assassins are well versed in many different aspects of academia. Hopeful students must not only be willing to kill, but must be smart and physically fit as well.

The Academy itself was originally a massive Cathedral built near a mysterious and sinister rock that fell from the sky many millenia ago. Since then the school has had many upgrades and has nearly tripled in size, but the look and feel of the original school still stands: dark, dreary, foreboding, and elegant in it's own way. The school itself is riddled with thousands of secret passages and other such things, all of which are left up to the students to discover and utilize however they wish.

As for the mysterious boulder for which the school is named, no one but the Headmistress is quite sure just what it is and what it is used for. Rumors abound that it is an extremely powerful artifact from a bygone age, some say it's a chunk of metal from a cursed plane, and others even go so far to say that it's all just a myth and that there is no such boulder. Nevertheless, the entire school has always had an impenetrable barrier surrounding it that even blocks out the sun completely. This barrier not only protects the school's location, but also keeps anyone from leaving without the Headmistress' blessing.

The barrier also has another nifty feature that many students of Unwelcome Boulder simply adore. The barrier also blocks out the sun 24/7. Instead of having normal daylight, the barrier itself gives off a light-purple light that illuminates the school grounds during the 'daylight' hours. Since many students at Unwelcome Boulder are either harmed by sunlight, or simply don't like it, this is equivalent to a God-send for them.

Absolutely no outsiders are permitted within the school grounds without the express permission of the Headmistress. The school implements the latest security technology, as well as many forms of magical security. The school is equipped with all of the modern comforts, but students must earn certain privileges within their first few days. For example: students are granted a room and a bed on their first night, but blankets, sheets, pillows, and other such 'luxuries' are to be earned through good grades and timely completion of missions. Whats more is that students do not know what they will receive by doing such things because the new items are added to their rooms while they are not present.

Teachers at Unwelcome Boulder are expected to actually teach their students while they are in the Headmistress' employ. If they do not keep a strict curriculum, or should they go soft on the students and provide them with 'lazy days', they would quickly find themselves as the next target for an elimination team.

Unwelcome Boulder Academy is essentially a school based Role Play, but it is also a mission based one. Any and all students who enlist here must keep up with their grades, and if they wish, keep up with their social life. But from time to time students must also complete missions that are assigned to them by their superiors. These missions could range from stealth missions, reconnaissance, theft, or even assassination. Students do not have to be necessarily stealthy to join Unwelcome Boulder, but simply show that they have skills that would be beneficial to the school, and a willingness to do what is necessary to complete the mission.

Any teachers who wish to apply must be prepared to be on a level basis with the Headmistress, and dish out appropriate missions to the students that will be beneficial to the school as a whole.

Also, a note to prospective students. If you truly wish to be enrolled, and you have the proper skills, rest assured that you need not seek out Unwelcome Boulder or it's associates to join it's prestigious ranks.

They will find you.

NEW PROFILES/STUDENTS!!!!

Anyone who is interested in joining UB MUST send in their profiles to me with the subject "Assassin". I am doing this simply to keep the profiles in check, to edit any small details/spelling errors, to make sure there's a healthy student/teacher ratio, and to make sure that prospective teachers are able to RP their responsibilities properly and respectfully later on in the story. I won't make any major changes to profiles, but I reserve the right to suggest changes should they conflict with the story or the rules.
