[Because the kittens are due around the 11th I decided to open this up. xD Quick RP, just them talking to Leila about having the kittens, blah blah. Just gotta get it done soon. :3]
After talking to JiYong about a possibly family, he had set out to figure out who to ask...and though Mei would have been a good choice, her personality clashed somewhat with JiYong's, and a mixture of those two--
Just no.
Ririka was out of the question because of her new boyfriend, and it'd be odd in a way to ask his adopted little sister to bare their babies. So that left...the new girl, Leila. She was pretty, had a nice temperament, and seemed decently outgoing and upbeat. Maybe she'd be willing to do it?
Swallowing thickly as he stepped up to her room, he figured it was late enough that she'd be home. He hoped. Knocking his knuckles to the door, Tempo stuffed his hands into his pockets and waited, bouncing slightly on his heels as he did so. JiYong was waiting downstairs in their room so he could meet the woman, but Tempo had promised to talk to her before that...lord knows it'd be better for just one leader to be awkward with Leila rather than both if she decided to not be a surrogate.
"Leila?" The forest cat called, somewhat impatient but moreso nervous and excited, "Leila, I need to talk to you," he kept his tone gentle, not wanting her to think it was a bad talk...anything but that. Gah, he sucked at this, how was he going to do with children? Ridiculous.

It had not been that long since Leila had joined a territory, but the cat was already comfortably settled in. The past few days had been spent busily scavenging various decorations to brighten up her room. After many hours put into searching and rummaging, she was now proud to say that her room was an easy shade of light blue with puffs of white dotting the walls. Various sketches and fashion pictures were taped to the wall.
She was glad to say that she now felt at home. Although Leila was eager to meet the other members of the group, she was now too tired to seek them out herself. Instead, she spent most of her time wandering around town or lounging in her room, idly working on drawings and outfits. In no time at all her room was littered with swatches, needles, thread, and fallen clothes.
Curled up on her bed, Leila delicately drew on another piece of scratch paper, outlining a dress with ruffles. Ears picked up the familiar voice of Tempo and she perked up her head, curiously staring at her closed door. “Yes?” she called out, stretching out her legs and swinging them over the bed.
She scurried over to the door and cracked it open a bit; face peeking out from the gape. “What do you need to talk about?” Leila inquired, head tilting to the side.

Blinking up at her when she peeked the door open, he gave a small smile and cocked his head at her.
"Ah--how're you settling in?" Small talk for now--then he'd cut to the chase and talk to her about their plans, hoping that she agreed. His smile never faltered, one she was probably familiar with, since whenever he was around her he usually had it curved over his lips.
"I had...a pretty important question for you," he motioned for her to come out of her room, "Walk with me?" Tempo was exhausted, today had been busy, but he had enough strength to do what he told JiYong he would. Plus, poor Leila needed to get to know some other territory members. She'd only come to meet SiWon and HeeChul, which wasn't all that...entertaining. SiWon would be if he got away from HeeChul for a bit, and Chullie--well, he didn't get along with estrogen very well. It often challenged his own flow of estrogen, Tempo was sure.
"I want you to meet my mate."

At Tempo’s innocent question her eyes crinkled, shining with delight. “Fine, just fine! I got my room all decorated and pretty-looking,” answered Leila, leaving the door ajar to proudly show the other cat the renovated room. “Ah, although I haven’t had much time to meet the others, oopsies,” she added with a downcast gaze, a finger nervously scratching her cheek.
“Oh, a question?” she repeated while she kept her eyes focused on the older feline as she stepped out and quietly locked the door closed. “Okay.”
Leila would have preferred to hear his inquiry now and was about to demand Tempo to speak his question now, but she pursed her lips as he spoke once more. The stars in her eyes twinkled even brighter. “Your mate? Your mate!” She excitedly clapped her hands together, bushy tail happily whipping back and forth behind her. Hands flying up to lightly brush her lips, she then asked, “Wait! Did you ever tell me your mate’s name? Of course you did? Right? Right, but what was it?”
As she continued to chatter on she walked alongside him, her tail always swishing to and fro.

Peeking inside curiously, he nodded, smiling. "You did a good job," when she stepped outside, he reached around her and pulled the door closed behind her, stepping down the hallway without missing a beat.
"JiYong," he grinned over to her, crossing his arms over his chest and tapping his nails against the top of his bicep, "I'm not sure if I told you or not. Actually, he just got here a little while ago--he's as new to the territory as you are," Tempo chuckled a bit, "So dont worry, you two can figure it all out together if need be."
Yeah, so, he was nervous...who could blame him. Clearing his throat, the forest cat looked over to the woman and grinned, reaching over to nervously pat her shoulder.
"So, uhm..." Yep, he should have made JiYong do this--not that he knew Leila at all, "We're planning a family," Tempo said softly, feeling weird for bringing this up, especially to a girl he hadn't known for very long.

Leila’s ears happily twitched as she purred, glad to receive his praise and approval. Her ex-master had always busied herself with work and pursuing her hobbies rather than devoting a sufficient amount of time to her pets. Although the moments she shared with the human were sweet and loving, they were far and few in between. She could clearly recall a few other cats that made their home in her master’s apartment, but they were more of the outdoors type while she was the indoors type. All the attention Leila could get she happily received.
She slowly nodded her head, as if she had just remembered. “Ah! JiYong! Right right right. JiYong,” she chirped, silently repeating the name under her breath. “Is that right? I hope we can get along together the!” Leila added with clasped hands, eager to finally start making friends in the territory.
“A family? That’s exciting. We’ll get to see little kittens running around the place then, hm? How cute! I’ll help caring for them if you need it,” she commented, already daydreaming about what the Ruins would be like with new arrivals.

Tempo smiled down at her, reaching a hand up to pat the woman's shoulder softly.
"T..that'd be great, to have some help," he began, taking in a slow breath before shaking his head. "Actually...that was kind of part of the question," the forest cat said quietly, raising his hand up to press his knuckles to his mouth, chewing on one with a sight.
"It's..kind of a personal question...but..because JiYong and I..cant really get pregnant, we were looking for someone to maybe..have the kittens for us," he murmured, just audible for the the woman to hear. He was nervous, voice a little shaky while a blush dusted over his cheeks. He barely knew the girl, how could hbe asking this right now?
"And, well...you're the best candidate for it...so I was going to ask if you'd be interested.."

Leila silently smiled back at the leader, her eyes wrinkled and glowed with optimism and excitement. Then they glowed even brighter as an idea struck her and she clapped her hands together once more. “Oh! You know what, Tempo? You should let me make their clothes. I’d absolutely love that,” she said, bouncing in her steps. Another tilt to the side and she added, “Oh? Really?”
She froze at his words. “Oh yes, that’s true . . .” Leila slowly replied as she felt the heat creep onto her face. She cupped her cheeks with her hands, relieved to feel the coolness that it brought. Her ears flattened and her tail curled inward, embarrassed at the thought. In her mind she vaguely guessed what his question was, and she was right.
“Interested?” she repeated, twiddling her fingers. The idea of it made her furiously blush, but Leila had to admit that she would love to see kittens in the territory. “Yeah . . . Yeah! I love children,” she answered.

Ah, there was the blushing he expected a little while ago. At least he himself had prepared himself for this...somewhat.
Smiling at her, he hesitantly reached up to pet her shoulder, looking down at her...kind of nervous still. She'd agreed, but did she know what came with all that? Stopping a few paces from his and JiYong's shared bedroom, he circled around in front of her, lifting his hands up to hold onto her shoulders, looking down at her. Yeah, he could pull serious when he wanted to...
"Really, Leila, it's up to you...there's a lot involved in that and I want you to think about it before agreeing," the forest cat murmured, patting her bicep softly, "And I want you to meet JiYong--get to know him a bit...he'll be the dad," didn't even help that Leila knew Tempo better than anyone else in the territory, so he pins his mate on her who had never met her, either. Awkward.
"So, think about it. We're not going to be mad if you dont want to," hopefully she understood exactly what it all meant--hopefully, "But you'll be...cared for, by both of us, and treated as a leader if you carry the kittens.." AKA pampered. Tempo would make sure of that. letting her go, he smiled, and motioned to the bedroom.
"Come on I want you to meet JiYong," so she didn't have to be stuck with just him in the hallway, that might be odd too. Stepping away from her, he motioned for her to follow before pushing the door open to the shared room, holding it open for her. This was going to take a while, he had a feeling...how embarrassing.

What was taking him so long? JiYong had been waiting for what seemed like days after the man had left, fidgeting and chewing on his nails and fixing his hair over and over again. He had even groomed his tail and ears, that's how nervous he was.
Every noise in the room made him jump up excitedly, only to realize it was a leaf or some cats outside or some birds. Now he just felt dumb.
What if she said no? What if she was appalled at being asked? It was kind of forward and rude of them, JiYong hadn't ever met her and they were asking her to...well. Tempo said she was nice, but...
Jerking his head up as he heard voices outside, he bit his lip and shifted on the pillow he was perched on, swallowing. They didn't sound angry or anything..."H-Hey," he chirped, smiling brightly as the door was pushed open. She was pretty, too.

To be honest, Leila probably didn’t know what exactly she was getting herself into. Indeed she was old enough to know what having children entailed, but a certain part of her was preventing her from realizing specifically what would be happening. Even if she was fully aware of the situation, it would not stop her from accepting Tempo’s request. She would stand firm with her decision, even if the idea was sending butterflies furiously fluttering in her stomach.
She shook her head. “No, I’m sure of it,” she reassured with a perky smile. Leila did not particularly care for the benefits, but they should did sound appealing. When she learned that Tempo’s mate would be the father, she grew nervous. So she had not even met the father of these children? That was awkward.
As the older cat opened the door and gestured for her to go in, Leila gulped and stepped inside, spotting the blond that was waiting in the room. She shyly smiled and waved. “Hey,” she replied, noting his good looks. Was it safe to say the kittens would turn out to be beautiful? So long as they inherited more of his genes, at least. She was also secretly hoping they’d also take after the spots.

Tempo was already nervous just asking the woman to do this, of course he felt horrible for throwing this at her so randomly, but well...he figured she didn't seem to mind all that much.
Now this little talk was going to be...awkward. he could feel it.
Stepping in after her, he pushed the door closed and smiled, making his way over to JiYong to side down to a sit beside him. "Ji, this is Leila...Leila, JiYong," he motioned for her to come and sit, and this is where his plan ended. All he had thought about was going to get her, talk to her about being a surrogate, then...it all ran a blank in his head.
Hunting through his thoughts for something to say, he brought a hand up to gently toy with the ocicat's blonde locks, biting his lower lip for a moment. "Leila..she agreed to help us," now what? Not being helpful. He smiled a bit, looking up to the woman with a c**k of his head, "Ji likes clothes and sewing, too...I think you two have a lot in common, actually," both gorgeous, that was for sure. Their babies were going to be...crazy blondes. Sigh.

Oh. He had already asked. Well then. Pushing himself to stand, he smiled shyly and played with his tail. "Um...so I guess...I'm the father," he asked, laughing nervously. Ji, calm down, goodness.
And she was so fluffy~ Fluffier than Tempo, he liked it.
Reaching forward, he pulled the girl into a tight hug and smiled softly, resting his chin on her shoulder. Why not give her a hug, they were going to be more intimate fairly soon so..."Thank you."
Stepping back, he smiled softly and stuffed his hands into his pockets. "And you're sure? I mean...I mean carrying babies is...pretty difficult, we'd understand if you said no, don't say yes just because you feel you have to or anything..." he rambled, tail twitching.

Leila’s ears perked up at the snippet of information Tempo had given her. JiYong liked clothes and sewing too? She wanted to breathe a sigh of relief – something they had in common! – but she decided that it just wasn’t the right thing to do. If it had been her in either of their positions, she would take it as an unsettling sign.
“Yeah, I guess you are,” she replied with a soft smile, her right hand shyly clinging to her left arm.
JiYong reached forward and she blinked at him, curiosity flickering in her blue-green eyes. She was expecting just about anything except a hug. Leila silently stumbled forward and confusedly stood there. The words whispered in her ear, a smile crept onto her face and she loosely wrapped her arms around him. “Your welcome.”
He pulled away and she dropped her hold. Beaming at his words, she nodded her head. “Yeah, I’m sure,” Leila answered. “I’ve always wanted to be a mom! Caring for them, playing with them, designing their clothes! It’ll be fun.”

Tempo stood idly, watching the two of them--examining. He wanted to make sure they got along, but as soon as JiYong hugged her he knew he'd made a good choice.
JiYong always seemed like the picky type to the forest cat, so hugging someone was a big deal, especially when he did it in such a gentle manner. Sighing mentally, he looked to Leila and smiled in a comforting manner.
"This means a lot to us," Tempo murmured, trying to relax as he moved over to her to wrap an arm around her shoulders--a little bit more of a hesitant hug than anything, nothing full-on like JiYong. But that's just how Tempo was.
"If you need...anything, at all, just let either of us know. Or SiWon--ah, I need to introduce him, too...he's in command after JiYong and I, so he'll do whatever you need, as well." This meant he needed to talk to HeeChul, too...the man was rough, and Tempo would strangle him with his own tail if he dared to hit the woman. Even if she wasn't pregnant, he'd still be pretty pissed off.
