This one is stupid, and obviously false but I recently had someone warn me not to go to Walmart because they said that someone had told them that gangs were going to have a meeting in the parking lot. That they were having initiations and the initiation is to shoot three women.

Of course that sounded lame, so I looked it up and found the story on snopes.com. http://www.snopes.com/crime/gangs/walmart.asp

Just wondering if it got around to anyone else, or someone they know fell for it? My fiance has a very gullible father who fell for it. He left us a bunch of voicemails warning us that we could get shot. We had a few laughs about it too.

Oh man, it reached Texas AND Louisiana. It was stupid and bad. My mom acted like she thought it was stupid, but she wouldn't go to Wal Mart or let me go. The rest of my family laughed about it though, and some people I knew were actually taking it seriously.

I think the news did cover it actually. and amazing that it went state wide. XD
