xo_kairi: Ugh, another dull day. At least she was away from the pack lands a little, though, able to stretch her legs. Don't get her wrong - she did love the pack, and Jua was a little sweetie. But their clan was lacking in members, and the pack in general desperately needed more. So it had been Nyamana that had volunteered herself to leave, and search out other Wild Dogs and Hyenas whom she could recruit. She'd been gone almost a week now, but she wasn't homesick yet. Nya had often been called a strange Wild Dog - seeing ghosts and using the knowledge she'd gathered from dead creatures to help her art of healing.
But despite it all, she was a damned good healer.
Maw stretching open in a yawn before snapping shut again, she padded through the long grasses, sunny yellow eyes scouring the scenery around her, searching for anyone. They didn't even have to be canine - she just fancied some company.

nessiaing: Zuberi was out and about during the day something that was strange for members of his pack. They were usually nocturnal creaters, but since he had become and adult he had become a scout, meanign that occasionally he got to be awake during the day, out in the heat. He didn't have as much as an adversion to it as most of the pack members did, he found it exciting, different. There was so much you could see during the day that you didn't get to see at night. It was a whole new world.
He was moving threw the long grass, looking for traces of new prey that the pack hunters could catch and kill when he caught the scent of another wild dog. It was not one from his pack he knew that much. He was fairly sure it wasn't one that he had met before at all actually. His interest peaked as he poked his head high to see if he could spot them. He smiled when he realized that she wasn't far in the distance, a golden goddess in his eyes.
His step light and bouncy he began to head in her direction, excited to make a new friend.

xo_kairi: Sighing, casting her gaze downwards, Nyamana paused for a moment to regain her breath. It was hot today. Despite having a pale coat, so not getting as hot as someone unfortunate enough to have a darker coat, the humidity wasn't something Nya enjoyed. Her packlands were relatively cool all year round, so she wasn't used to such temperatures.
Lifting her head again, she blinked in surprise as she saw a dark brown shape coming straight towards her. Not in a hurry, but not particularly slow, either. One with innocent intentions, or more sinister? Growling softly, she stood her ground, strengthening the muscles in her legs so she could stand strong, staring fiercely at the stranger and she awaited their approach. She was ready for a fight, if that was what they were after.

nessiaing: Zuberi froze for a secodn when he heard the growl pass through the other wild dogs lips. He wasn't use to being considered a threat, he had never had a harsh thought in mind. Coming from the pack he did, he was often not understanding of the fact that others might see his direct approach as intimadting. He grew up in a place where love was all that matter, no one ever got hurt.
Regaining composure he took a few more steps towards the pale coated dog, a smile on his face, "I am sorry to have startled you. I mean no harm, just wanted to make a new friend." he looked into her eyes, knowing that his would show only friendly intentions.
"My name is Zuberi. What is yours?" outside of the pack he always used his given name, as most were a little put of by his wolf name, it was too forien an weird sounding.

xo_kairi The creature was coming closer...oh, it was another Wild Dog! Faltering in her stance a little, Nyamana soon recovered, although her fierce facade was considerably less...fierce. Surely another canine couldn't mean her harm? That was why she was out here! To recruit for the pack and bring others back to the friendly atmosphere of the pack. The male smiled, and Nya dropped the offensive stance completely, even allowing a smile of her own to grace her lips. The words sealed it, as her tail began to wag a little.
"Nyamana," she replied, answering his question. Zuberi? Not a name she'd heard before, but one that certainly sounded like she could've. It was quite a nice name, actually. His eyes shone with a friendly nature, and she couldn't help but widen her smile. Yes. This was exactly the kind of canine the Amani'kikundi needed. "Tell me, Zuberi. ...Do you have a pack?"

nessiaing: Happy to see the female relax, Zuberi defaulted back to himself, less conserned about scaring her. "Nyamana" he repeated softly trying to committ the name to memory, the problem with living in a pack where everyone had two names was that Zuberi often had problems remembering names outside of the pack.
"I do have a pack." he smiled thinking about home. "It is not far from here, a wonderful place really. Are you looking for one?" he asked with a grin. "I would be happy to bring you back with me, we are always welcoming new commers, its a friendly place." he wagged his tail to really drive the idea of friendliness in, knowing that some animals who had never been in a pack were frightened by the idea of being around so many other dogs.

xo_kairi He repeated her name and she nodded, to let him know he'd gotten it right. She smiled widely, although it noticeably dulled when he confirmed he did have a pack. Damn...trust her luck. The first prospective member she meets already had a pack. Just typical. Exactly the kind of luck she expected, though. Shaking her head, she sat herself down, trying to smile a little. He was a nice boy, but she couldn't help but be disappointed.
"No, no...I'm not looking for one," she sighed, casting her gaze down, "I'm trying to recruit for one...my pack. But it's not going well. It's really frustrating..."

nessiang: Zuberi was saddened when the other showed obvious frustrations, he had never been a recouter for a pack, but he could imagine it was difficult. From his experiences others often had strong opions about packs if they didn't already belong to one, and this often meant that they would not join one. "I am sorry that I am not of more help." he told her kindly.
He shifted his attitude slightly, hoping to perhaps get the female dogs attention away from her job and more focussed on him. He was shameless really, he was a male through and though. He liked the looks of this female and he wanted her to look at him more. He sat down making sure to sit slightly closer to her then was technically conventional, he gave her a warm smile, "You are very charming, I am sure you will have no trouble finding members soon, there are a lot of rouge wild dogs in this area I have met a good number before while out on patrol."

xo_kairi: Nyamana sighed again, but her sad smile widened a little at the male's kind words. She shook her head gently, forcing her smile a little wider as her tail took up a slow, rhythmic wagging motion again. "No, don't worry. I don't expect you to help."
An observational one, Nyamana wasn't one not to notice when Zuberi shifted a little closer than was usual. Her mind flashed to Jua momentairily, before back again. ...You know what? Screw it? She needed some time out, to just relax and have a bit of fun. When Zuberi began to compliment her it sealed the deal, Nyamana herself shuffling a little closer, her tail just happening to land on top of his as she flashed her own charming smile. "Really? Aww, why thank you! And I certainly hope so. My clan - that's like, a part of the pack - is severely lacking. We specialize in healing."

"A healer how interesting." he said quickly. His pack had a few healers in it but it wasn't a profession that Zuberi knew much about. His brain frankly just didn't work in that way, he was rarely able to think things through that well, he was a strictly live in the moment kind of fellow.
His tagged wagged a little more feircly when the girl moved closer to him, it was rare for him to meet a female that was as easy to put the moves on so to speak. Excited by this revalation, Zuberi smiled. His thoughts were not on his home, his mate that was there. It was rare for him to remember that he had a mate when he met other women, another problem of his live in the moment attitude.
Shifting the subject again, "Nya what do you think of pups?" it was often a tatic he used to see what the other wild dogs views were, if they weren't in to the idea of pups he would usually get what he was after.

xo_kairi: He spoke a little too quickly and she realized he wasn't that interested by her healing hobbies, so she decided to change the subject. It was odd...usually she wouldn't care, she'd talk about what she wanted. But she was feeling strange, light-headed. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she found herself wanting to please him. It was odd.
And then he dropped the bombshell."Pups?" she asked, with a somewhat disgusted expression, "Sound like far too much work." she scoffed, before pausing a little, frowning, "Although...I've never really been around them. I...I dunno, I guess."

nessiaing: Zuberi was let down her answer a little, if the female wasn't interested in pups, than chances of this working the way he wanted were slim. Then again he could just look at this a little more of a challenge, he welcomed it, challenges could be fun, he had time to work on this. She was so beautiful he didn't want to loose the chance.
"Well pups are fun really, they have a brilliant out look on life. Innocent little beings who are often very happy and loving." he smiled hoping that he was thinking of all the pluses pups had. "They are dependent of course, but living in a pack it makes it easier. My mother for instance raised seven of us on her own, but really she wasn't on her own.. she had the whole pack at her side helping her." Zuberi had loved his up bringing, it was different compared to most, he hadn't had a father, but he had had a whole pack as his parents.

xo_kairi: Fun? Nya scoffed, snorting a little as she shook her head, rolling her eyes a little but still with her most charming smile. She had been told she has a very pretty smile. Mostly by Jua, admittedly. But she wasn't thinking of him now. No, for once she wanted to think about herself. "Our pack isn't big yet," Nya replied, seeming to be tiring of the subject, "Hence why I'm recruiting?"
She glanced off to the side, somewhat disheartened by the direction this conversation was taking. Not the way she wanted, wriggling her tail a little on top of Zuberi's, she turned back to him, gently using her nose to nuzzle the crook of his neck, making small, purring-like sounds. "Zuberi, I don't want pups. I want to be selfish for once, and only think of myself. Can we drop the subject, please?"

Zuberi's heart quicken for a moment, a female who was going to be selfish? Who didn't want a pups, but just a moment between themselves. It was a dream come true to the young male, he had never imagined that he would meet a female that had an attitude like his. Of course he did want pups, but that wasn't all her wanted.
"Of course darling." he asnwered her, craining his neck as she nuzzled him, his tail wrapped around hers showing her how happy he was. He turned to look at her, and he felt a small grin spread across his face. This was wonderful he thought, he pushed her sligly giving he a quick lick on the nose. He felt bad for pushing the subject now. "What ever I can do to make you happy."

xo_kairi: Nya continued with her purring-like sounds, quite happy to let Zuberi do whatever he wanted. This was what she wanted...no, needed. She was always thinking about others. Jua, the pack, whichever unfortunate soul she was healing. She needed to think about herself, just for once. To do what she wanted to do. She knew she wasn't thinking straight - she should be thinking of Jua. But at the moment, she just didn't care. She wanted to be happy, and this was seeming to make her heart flutter in a way that seemed to resemble happiness quite strongly.
She reached up, dotting kisses over his maw before giving it an affectionate lick, batting her eyelashes with a smile. "Oh, there's a lot you can do, Zuberi."
