It had been a long travel for HanGeng, the large silver wolf was starting to get rather tired. He'd heard of a new pack, one he was rather interested in. Draug Faroth.. A pack where there could be love and family rather than murder and bloodshed.

He'd seen enough of that.

Now it was time to find a place where he could settle, perhaps become an important force other pack members could rely on. That's what he truly wanted. Perhaps a female with whom he could find true love.. That would be most pleasing as well.

It was all about fate and where it would lead him.

The fang on his necklace bounced a little on his toned chest and soft furr as he continued his steps, slowly approaching the boundry where the pack had taken over. He paused in his footsteps, eyes sliding shut and head tilting back. A loud howl left him, one questioning his welcoming and hoping that a pack member would come to greet him so he could learn if this was the place he was meant to stay.

Madhuri's ears pricked up attentively as she paused her stroll around the pack's borderlands. It's not that she was on border patrol, but that she merely enjoyed taking in the sights of the beautiful part of the forest her new pack called home. The visitor's howl filled her ears and immediately she found herself trotting cheerfully in his direction. She heard the hopefulness in his call and she was eager to make a good impression for her pack's sake. If this stranger's wish for acceptance was genuine, it certainly wouldn't hurt anyone to have another pack member to strengthen their numbers.

She tilted her head back and and gave a quick, cheerful answering to his call, informing him that she was already on her way. Then again, it was hardly necessary if he at all heard the happy chimes and tinkles of her bangles and collar that filled the area as she jogged to meet him.

Soon enough she came to the spot where he stood, her steps slowing to a more dignified walk as she stepped out of the shadows of the trees to face him, her head bowing in acknowledgment before her eyes rested on his strong frame. She took him in slowly, a smile tugging at her maw after a moment. She didn't get bad feelings about this one..definitely a step in the right direction.

"Hello, traveler!" She said, her smile fully becoming visible as she spoke, "You look like you have come a long way to see us...Are you seeking refuge..or perhaps something more...?"

When the gorgeous female came upon him, HanGeng bowed his head in a proper manner, thankful that she seemed so nice. Ah, so perhaps the words he had heard of this small, friendly pack were indeed true.

"Hello, M'lady. My name is HanGeng," His head bowed once more, lifting to give a rather wolfish grin. He was happy to have someone as interesting as this one come forward. Her bells made her seem like overall a very happy wolf.. she must have been in charge of keeping the pack content.

"I do wish to take refuge here, and hope to perhaps become a member of this pack. I have heard word of your kind wolves and passion for family. I share this passion and wish to surround myself with others who do as well."

"Your bells and bangles are quite beautiful, I must say. A real pleasure to hear a unique sound that normally only humans accomplish." His compliments were whole-hearted, as tried hard to be polite and complimentary to those around him.

Madhuri easily slipped into a courteous bow to mirror Han's, keeping her smile all the way. She liked his manners, for certain, and he had an honesty in his voice that set her at ease. He looked to be a strong male..but she had no doubt that he wouldn't be using that strength against her, or anyone else in the pack, for that matter. She wasn't worried.

"It's a pleasure, HanGeng...my name is Madhuri." She said, raising to her usual dignified posture, still having to look up slightly to meet his eyes, "And refuge you may have. Our borders are open to anyone who harbors no ill intent for us...I get the feeling that you will be most welcome into our growing little family." She nodded and took a step closer before turning, gesturing with a tip of her muzzle for him to follow her, her eyes locked upon him.

A blush rose to her already ruby coat from his compliments, and she took a couple soft jingling steps just for the noise, smiling at her own jewelry and softly chuckling. "Oh my, thank you..It actually was humans that gave me these..I'm a sort of ambassador to them for our pack. The natives came to like me, and they dressed me with some of their dancing bells. They can identify me now, and it's my job to continue earning the respect they have for our territory in a sense..."

"Madhuri." The male repeated. She seemed to be a relativly young adult, much like himself.

The bonding with the humans made him more curious. This female trusted them enough to let them near her? That was very rare indeed, and they seemed to worship her.. Seeing as they gave her so many gifts. "Your Alphas must respect you a good deal if you are the one to deal with humans," He complimented with his grin not fading.

"I've never met a wolf who actually goes so close to humans." There was a good bit of curiousity in his tone, wondering if she would ever grace him with an explination as to why she decided to bond with humans in such a manner.

He followed her closely, as she was the one who knew where she was going, and he wanted to earn her trust as well. It was important if he was to be part of this pack.

"Well..the natives here aren't a bad breed, but the other two-leggers are nearly beyond hope.." She said, her head lowering as she guided him towards the circle of stones near the main denning area. "Last winter, I had no pack to call my own, but the natives' fires were warm and welcoming enough. They have a certain respect for the creatures they share the forest with..and if you're dignified and careful enough, they'll let you near them.."

Memories flooded back to her now of sharing dried meats with the two-leggers at their fires while everyone huddled for warmth. A settler might have called her a domestic pet by the way she acted, but the idea didn't insult her. Those humans kept her warm and fed when she had only hollowed trees and cold caves as alternatives. They were the closest thing to a family she had before Draug Faroth came into the picture.

"Why they gave me all this jewelry, I'm not entirely certain.." she mused quietly, coming to a halt just outside the stone circle and looking around for any fellow pack members. "All I can guess is that they thought I was good luck to have around..but really I was the lucky one that they let me stay with them during the winter.."

Inwardly she hoped Haku was nearby, so that her alpha could meet their potential new addition to the family. After all, he was the one with the final say in such matters...

As if on cue, the large black and orange wolf moved forward, his eyes scanning the new male. He then glanced to the red female that he trusted very much. Haku moved to raise an eyebrow and step closer, putting himself between the two of them.

"Hello," He mused a little as he stared at the silver wolf who was almost as big as he was. "Is this a friend of yours, Madhuri?" He asked after a moment, tilting his head and giving a small smile.

"The two of us just met, Sir." He bowed his head to the Alpha before giving the beautiful femme a small grin. "This kind Lady was just showing me the way to see you, so that I may ask for entrance into this pack of yours."

His smile left and he turned more serious. "I have been looking for a pack such as this for a very long time, Sir, I want to have a family where I belong. I am very passionate about having and protecting a family of my own. Your pack would be the perfect place for me.

Haku look pleased, but turned his head to Madhuri. "What do you think?"

Madhuri chuckled softly at Haku's timing and stepped slightly to the side so the two could properly introduce themselves. She sat herself down and curled her tail softly around one hip, her eyes switching back and forth between Haku and HanGeng, following their words.

She caught Han's grin and couldn't help but smile a little back. He was a courteous one, that was for sure..Courtesy was just one of those things she particularly liked to see in a wolf. It all added up for her..he was courteous, polite...just well-mannered in general. She couldn't imagine he would be anything but genuine to them.

She turned to Haku and nodded softly, still keeping a smile. "I have a good feeling that he would fit right in, Sir..Don't you agree?"

Haku gave a smile to Madhuri, nodding his head a few times. "I trust your judgement very much, Madhuri, I think this male could be very good for our family." He touched his nose to the female's ear before turning to the male and giving him a smile.

"My name is Haku and I am the one who runs these lands. More than anything, I wish to be a father and a friend to those who stay here. You are more than welcome to have your home here, and I will return to find you once you're settled. I have a feeling we can put your skills to good use."

Onyx eyes moved to glance to Madhuri. "Would you please show him to the open dens?"

"HanGeng," He bowed his head a little, so that the Alpha could know his name as well. He had to admit that he was impressed by this Alpha. He used the word 'please' with a lower pack member, and seemed to be very kind to them. This could very well be the place he had been searching for his entire life.

Then his own eyes turned to the female, tilting his head and giving her that same charming grin that he usually had. "If you would be so kind as to lead the way, My Lady."

Madhuri fought away yet another blush as she rose to her paws, nodding to Haku's question attentively. "Of course, Sir, it would be my pleasure.."

She turned to HanGeng and smiled brightly, gesturing again for him to follow her. "If you'll come this way..I think we should be able to find somewhere comfortable for you to settle.." She gave another parting nod to Haku before leading HanGeng onward to their denning area and past her own den towards a cluster of unoccupied dens, looking for one that would suit a wolf his size.

"I'm not sure what your preferences are, HanGeng, I'm afraid I can only help your selection but so much.."

"I think.. I would like one on the bigger side." He nodded his head a few times. Being alone would make it cold for a while, but he hoped to have a family soon enough that it would not matter.

"That way, when I find a mate and have a family, I will not have to worry about moving things around too much, and can focus on making them comfortable." The large silver wolf gave a nod of his head as if looking confident that -someday- it would happen.

He glanced around before deciding on one that he rather liked, sticking his nose in and wagging his tail a little. Perfect~

"I want to thank you for all of your help, and your kind words to your Alpha so he would approve me." He pulled his head back out to give her a grin. "If there's anything I can ever do for you, please let me know."

Madhuri peeked curiously into Han's chosen den and couldn't help but keep smiling. The den he chose looked to have plenty of room, and immediately she wondered how the poor soul would keep warm in such a space.

She pulled herself back slightly and looked up to Han, a little concern in her eyes. "A little family would certainly be very comfortable in this one...I hope you have luck with finding one before it starts to get frosty around here" she said, chuckling softly to herself from her thoughts. She took a few steps closer, " It would be a shame to keep finding you frozen in the mornings," she teased, playfully nudging her nose to his shoulder, " after a while I'd have to make it my job to defrost you.."

She smirked and turned back towards her own den after pulling away, looking back to him with a mischievous smile, remembering his last comment. "You're very welcome, HanGeng, and if you ever need anything from me, don't be afraid to ask..."

Her teasing brought a laugh from him and he nodded his head. This female was being quite nice to him and it made him feel rather content. "It's good to know I can count on you to make sure I don't die, My Lady. Perhaps you'll have to check every few days to make sure I'm not frozen solid."

As she started to walk away, he watched her with a grin. Her mischievous smile made him rather curious, he would have to bump into her again soon.

"Keep yourself safe, My Lady." He bowed his head before moving into his den and starting up his claiming of it.
