 Arratixa let out a small yawn as she flicked her hair out of her eyes then took two more steps before she looked around. They were currently staying in what her father called a week den, it was what her sisters called it too. That means they were most likely going to spend about a week or two here before going out and wandering again. She loved this life style she really did, she got to meet a lot of others around the lands. She got to make friends even though some of the time she really would have never get a chance to see them again, maybe by chance, however she loved the time that she got a chance to met up with other cubs and play with them even if it is just a little bit of time
She happily started a prance, making sure to keep track of how many steps she was taking. She had came up with an easier way of counting her steps. One-Two. One-two. One-Two. It was a lot easier to stop on a even number than before. It made her feel a lot better, it was harder to lose track of steps like this. she shrugged off the idea before she looked around, there had to be some one around that she could spend some time with. There had to be some one that she could pay with around here. Or atleast she really hoped there was. She didn't get to play with that many others. So not that she had a chance to wandre away and make some new friends she was going to take advantage of that idea.

 He was out hunting for himself. His family had taught him early on how to hunt for small things, saying once he was in a pride he'd hunt in groups to kill much larger things for the pride. So rabbit was on the menu for today. Or so he hope. The white and pink male shuffled through the grass, belly pressed low, nose pressed to the ground. Trying to sniff out what he wanted to eat.
Vole, vole, vole. Nope, nothing but damn voles around here! He didn't want something to snack on, he wanted something to eat! Just then, rustling caught his attention and he poked his head up to see .....a pretty little cub playing all by herself. She seemed to be concentrating awfully hard on something.
Never one to pass up a chance to play, he grinned a bit. "Hey! What's wrong?" He called out, head tilting to the side as he approached her slowly.

Arr looked down at her paused as she stopped what she was doing for a moment, trying to figure out what she was going to do. She flicked her hair out of her face for a moment before she thought she heard the sound that didn't sound like something she knew was around. She was normally aware of her surroundings. But for some reason all of a sudden she was hearing the sounds of feet falling, and she wasn't that sure of where it was coming from. She looked around bit sniffing around for some one else. Oh! She turned toward the direction that she picked up the scent in and smiled brightly as some one walked out of the bushes.
"Hi there!" She greeted brightly before nodding toward her and flicking her tail around before she trotted toward him and grinning. "Nothing is wrong." She licked her lips as she shook her head then trotted around him in circles before stopping in front of him. "Whats your name?" She asked to the male with a bigger grin on his face. Bumping into him playfully.

The girl seemed to be OK. She was even talking back! With a laugh, Mato moved in closer to her and wiggled his tail, showing he was playful and friendly. "Matokea'kwa. But call me Mato! Everyone does. What's your name? You look funny. Not a bad funny, but, I've never seen a spotted cub!" He showed clearly that he didn't mean any insult by it. "Are you from a pride? Where's your family? Don't pride families play together?"
That was Mato, alright. Jumping to conclusions and never pausing to give the other a chance to answer.

Arr looked at the lion flopping down on her haunches giving the male a big grin. "Arratixa." She nodded, giving the male her name, Wiggling around a bit herself out of excitement. Before she nudged him gently. "Arr has never seen a pink boy before." She stood up and trotted around him. "No Arr doesn't live in a pride. Her brother does though and so does her mommy." She giggled a little more then nipped at him once more. "Arr lives with her daddy and her sisters. Arr plays with her family all the time." she giggled once more before bumping her forehead into his. "Does Mato want to play with Arr?" she asked curiously really up for some one to play with. She always loved to play with others.

"I want to play with you, yeah!" He said excitedly, grinning and laughing like the cub he was. Nudging her back, he tapped his paw against the top of her head and ruffled her hair fur. He couldn't help it. Younger cubs were cute when they were so eager to play and make friends! Mato didn't have a lot of friends, so everyone was special.
"What do you want to play, Arr?"

Arr grinned happily as she watched the male. She was pretty glad to see that male wasn't making fun of her for the way she talked. She had trouble finding friends because of that. She hated the fact that she couldn't make that many that many friends. She flicked her tail around before smiling at him. "Really!?" She giggled as she started to trot around the male with a large grin on her face.
"Arr doesn't know. What does Mato want to play?" she grinned up at him with a large smile on her face. She was very excited to get to play withs ome one other than her siblings.

What games did he want to play? He thought a moment. He had to pick a game she could win at, possibly, and be good at. After all, she was younger than him. His tail flicked behind him as he thought and he spun around in a circle before grinning.
"Hide and seek! But you can't use your nose to sniff out a scent!" He hoped that would be an OK game for her. Really, he didn't know how to play with someone so young, but he wanted to play. And so did she. So it worked out, for both of them!

Arr grinned ear to ear with the idea the suggestion she was glad that the male wanted to play with her. There wasn't that many other cubs that wanted to play with younger cubs like her. She started to bounce a bit, just side to side before nudging him. "Hide and seek?" She giggled before nodding toward him. "Mato hie first!" She nodded happily she wanted to hunt him down. she never really used her nose much in the first place with hide and go seek, that was cheating! But she couldn't say the same about her siblings, they liked to use their nose all the time! It wasn't fair. She was glad to see some one who didn't like to use their nose.

"I'll hide first then!" He couldn't argue with a girl. Giving her an affectionate nuzzle to the top of her head, the pink and white male moved out and away.
He'd moved into an area with a lot of trees and bushes. Crouching low to the ground, the cub moved under a few bushes and settled there, making sure he was easy, but not to easy, to see.

Arr giggled at the boy's nuzzle before lowing her front half to the ground and lifting her rump in the air wiggling it around a bit as she did. She put her paws over her eyes and started to giggle as she counted. She loved playing this game but she hated when other didn't know when to stop counting they would pick such odd places and it drove her crazy. "Fourteeeennn.." She called out a little louder before splitting two of her toes and peaking out to see if she could see him still hiding. As far as she could tell she still had no clue where he was. She could finish counting then. "EighteenNineteenTWENTY! READYORNOTHEREICOME!" She said quickly before standing up and looking around. "where are youuu." She called out with a giggle, flicking her tail around as she did. It was so hard to find some one when she couldn't use her nose. she tired her hardest to breath out of her mouth instead of her nose so she couldn't catch his scent.

He couldn't help but chuckle softly at her counting. Arr had a cute voice, so it would be very pretty when she got older. Ears flicking, he watched with those blue eyes of his, as she passed him up looking for him. "Ready or not," he whispered, attempting to stay still. What he didn't know, is that this was a sticker bush, every time he moved his head, he felt the stickers catch on his mane, and he had to hold his breath to keep from whimpering.

Arr flicked her tail around a few times, thinking about what she was going to do she was trying to figure out where the other cub had gone to. She flicked her tail around a few times before she started to trot, resiting the urge to sniff him out, if she remembered correctly she wasn't allowed to use her nose to find him. She giggled slightly as she looked around for him. "Come out, come out where ever you are!" She shouted to make sure that he heard her. Giggles escaped her maw as she walked. She wasn't that sure what it was about playing hide-and-go-seek but it always put her in a good mood!
"Awww..." She frowned as she peeked behind a tree, she was pretty disappointed that she didn't see him behind there. She turned around looking trying to figure out where she should go next.

He almost gave his position away by giggling at her voice. It was so innocent and young sounding. Mato's voice was breaking because of adult hood. Soon his voice would be deep and probably a bit scary to children. So, better have fun while he still can. It'd be best to work it out of his system before he found his parents.
But when she looked behind the tree, he did laugh. She was close! So close, but so not at the same time. "Not quite~" He let his voice ring out, echoing in the still air.

Arr flicked her tail around a bit but paused as she heard his voice. she giggled a little more before running toward the direction that the male spoke. She giggled more as she popped next to the bush. "I know your in there!" She giggled pawing at it a few times. She wasn't sure how to push her way into the bush with out getting hurt. She didn't want to have to explain to her father why she had a bunch of stickers in her coat.
