Moved to S&P in the Media.
I hadn't seen this movie yet (I'm not sure when it's getting released here) but I watched the trailers and they scaried me. Then again I'm a total baby when it comes to horror movies!
It looks like another Blair Witch, but might be watchable. Looks better shot that B.W.

I thought it was a good movie, but it's not anywhere as good as it's been hyped to be. Not bad for something made for $15,000 though.

I actually really liked this movie. It freaked me out, I'm not even gonna lie. The way it built up and kept me on the edge of my seat just made it a really good movie. It's a really good example to show that even small budget movies can turn out good! The ending was sad, I agree. I also feel that the ending was a bit off, just didn't seem 100% right.

There are apparently three different endings to the movie.

unfortunately I've heard and think that the movie is a copyright of the Real tapes, the real tapes wasn't authorized to show on theater legally without permission but if these are true then they can't get permission since the owner had died and the killer(Katie) either died or ran off.

I thought it was a good movie, but honestly, it wasn't scary. :/ Which surprises me. I thought it was going to be SCARY because apparently a lot of people were scared... but no. It was just creepy, and I didn't lose any sleep.

it was Only scary to Most Couples, afraid of losing their love one by some evil force. Or get killed by someone you loved and loved you. it's a fascinating movie indeed.

The movie isn't real. It's a work of fiction. The actors were just on Jay Leno earlier this evening.

That may be true, but the movie did had a lesson. You shouldn't take paranormal activity in your home so lightly. Micha was an idiot for provoking it too much. An exorcist would have been necessary.

An exorcist would have been necessary. i think that the lesson was dont piss off demons. i did like how the thing got stronger as the guy believed in it more and pissed it off. he fed it his emotion and provoked it. i thought that at least was pretty realistic

I had heard a lot of weird crap about it happening in the city I live in, Tucson, and then when I went to see it, it was in San Diego or something. I liked it a lot. Very well done for such a low budget film.

An exorcist would have been necessary. Isn't that like saying that the lesson of Naked Lunch is to snort bug powder but never trust talking cockroaches, the lesson of Pan's Labyrinth is that the real world sucks and we should always listen to horrific-looking Fauns, the lesson of the Dead Poets' Society is that productions of a Midsummer Night's Dream always results in suicide, the lesson of V for Vendetta is that blowing up Big Ben cures most political strife, the lesson of Fight Club is that you are also Brad Pitt, the lesson of Requiem for a Dream is that you are happier than the average joe provided you and a friend have a double-ended d***o... My incredible tangential point being, the movie may have a message, but don't forget that it's entirely fictional, and the events depicted were not a necessary consequence of having paranormal activity in your home.
