In the spirit of Halloween, we're going to have fanfiction contest!
Yep, you heard me right. There's a few guidelines before you hurry off writing whatever your heart desires.
First: It can be any genre you want. Go for it.
Second: Do you want slash? OKAY, that's cool. Throw that s**t in there. You can also do gen too. *nods*
Third: Kid!fics are just as accepted as present day fics.
Fourth: The theme? It has to be Halloween. I know, I know. It's implied AND it should've been number one - but roll with me here. This is strictly a Halloween fanfiction.
Fifth: You can use any combination of characters you want. It doesn't matter.
Sixth: Minimum word count is 500 words. The maximum? 2000. Yep! You guessed it - short little snippets. If you go over 2000 words, you will be forgiven. Don't worry. Not disqualifications for wanting to right more than the suggested maximum. Do NOT go UNDER 500 though. Because that's just silly. 500 is like, the smallest amount of words ever and if you can't write that in a ROLEPLAY post, you shouldn't be writing anything at that moment in time. ;D
Seventh: Rating can be up to PG13, as this is Gaia. (Soft R is acceptable. razz ) If you want to submit PWP-Halloween Style, don't. Post that in the fanfic section with a link and a warning. It won't be a part of this contest. biggrin
Eighth: This does have to be YOUR writing. I'm not going to go to any extreme lengths to prove it - because I trust you all not to steal. But still. It should be said. If someone notices you swiping Halloween fics and I find out, you'll be disqualified. razz And have one strike against you. Strikes do what? Move you closer to the ban button. Sorry. D:
Ninth: It has to be about Supernatural. Clearly.
Tenth: Do not post your entries in HERE. That's just silly, guys. We're gonna keep this organized. You'll post them in the location that the link at the bottom of this post provides.

We'll all vote for our favorite entry and the winner will get a nifty little something. I'd go into detail, but I that's silly an un-fun. razz
