Ness:
Strongear was setttling into his position as an adult member of the pack. He was a scout, in charge of very important things, keeping the pack safe, and most importantly at times his most favorite job, watching after the packs pups. Strongear loved pups, they were the future of the pack, and he loved their free spiritness that often came in with them.
As he strolled through the pack lands, making a note of who was where and the general going ons, he spotted one young pup in particular. It was a young girl, she was a pup of one of Strongear's closests friends here in the pack. He had yet to talk to the pups much so he travelled towards the little one, "Hello there." he said gently to the little one.
Chobi:
The little yellow and blue pup had been busy chasing her own tail. For some reason the puppy never could quite catch that darn tail. Everything she got close , She'd wag her tail.
It wasn't until a 'Hello there' had her skidding to a stop of the useless task. Looking up she found the owner of the voice. A male adult wild dog, one she'd never spoken too but seen with her mother. Rainingsun gave the semi stranger a small smile.
"H-hi!" She barked.

Strongear was impressed by the young cubs friendliness, it was much different then her mother, she must have got her personality more from her father then her mother. It was refreshing, Strongear of course quite enjoyed Ani's company but others could often find her taxing to talk to.
"Your name is Rainingsun correct?" Strongear smiled at the young pup, he of course knew he was right, but he didn't want to take the fun of her getting to introduce herself to him away from her. "My name is Strongear little one, I am a friend of your bothers. In fact" he said smiling, "I have known her since I was about your size." When he commented on her size he lifted his paw and placed it on her head.
Chobi:
Rainingsun kinda just sat there with a paw on her head for a moment staring up at the bigger male. She didn't know what to say, he was so big just like daddy. Truthfully she hadnt spent alot of time getting to know other pack members. Her days had been busy with flower picking and entertaining her self. She was a sweet heart but an anti social one.
"Stongear." The pup repeated, "Rainingsun," She smiled even though he already knew her name. The pup liked to tell people who she was.

"It is very nice to meet you Rainingsun." Strongear said lightly to her. Strongear had watched the little one chasing her tail before he had walked over to her. It was funny she had been so intent on catching it..... "Having trouble catching that little one" he asked lifting her tail in his paw. "Mine always seems to elude me as well." he chuckled as he began to spin in cirlces trying to catch his own tail.
He was hoping he could amuse the little pup make her loosen up, the more they spoke the more he saw her mother in her, not that that was a problem, but he thought every dog diserved a good friend, and Strongear liked to provide that friendship to many.
Chobi:
The female watched the adult chase his tale like as if he was a puppy him self. Rainingsun couldn't help but giggle and chase her own as well. The wild dog was right, these tails were tricky business. That was for sure. In the end, Rainingsun gave up and just stood there panting.
"You like to chase tale too huh?" The female said between pants. "What else does an adult like you do?" The female took a few paw steps forward and grinned.

Strongear laughed too, plopping down on his hind quaters quite dizy now, it had been sometime since he had last chased his tail like that, and now he remembered why he had stopped. He smiled, "I do like chasing my tail, but in all my time I have never managed to catch it." he sighed but smiled, it was all about fun.
"Hmmm adults like me? I don't think there are adults like me." he said chuckling. "But I suppose an adult does have things that they have to do. For instance I am a scout, so sometimes I wake up in the day and make sure the pack lands are safe, I also find new food sources for us, and well sometimes I have to keep my eyes on little monsters such as yourself." he smiled looking down at the little cub. He remembered when he was that young he was inquizitive too.
Chobi:
Rainingsun listened and couldn't help but envy. That sounded like a fairy tale sort of life. Adventure and getting to be up during the day.Not that Rainingsun didnt like the usual night atmosphere she was born into. Just she wasn't allowed to be up during the day. Thus the fact not being allowed made her want to be up during those taboo hours.
"Can I be a scout too?" The pup wagged her tail and looked up at the adult as if he was some sort of new deity that had meraculously just appeared.

Strongear chuckeld the little cub sitting before him now reminded him of his one brothers the one that was always interested in finding his one true position in life for the pack. "Sure you can be a scout too Rainingsun." he answered her kindly.
"Perhaps one morning I will be able to come up and get you and you can be a scout with me." he smiled down at the little pup... then realizing what he had just said, "Of course we have to get your mom's ok before we make these plans." he hoped he hadn't stuck his paw into his mouth with this promise.
Chobi:
The little pups ears lifted straight up similiar to that of a rabbits. Alert and ready to be of service when Strongear said he'd have to ask her mother. Rainingsun wasn't so sure how her mother would feel about her being up in the late hours of the day scouting about. But she still wagged her tail at the offer. It was a pretty good offer at least.
"Heh, lets just hope that mother agrees," The little juve hopped up on all fours and looked over in the distance at where her mother was. Would mother mind? Rainingsun's eyes grew a few sizes in hopefulness.

"I am sure we will be able to convince her little one no worries." he chuckled, he liked to think he had a away with the female kind, though Ani was a particular difficult breed of female. "So lets talk plans what shall we scout on our outing?"
He felt confident in his thoughts, even if it was difficult to convince Ani, he had learnt when he was younger that sneaking about wasn't all that hard, and well as much as he shouldn't condone it if it came to that he would help the little one. He obviously knew no harm came from the day time.
Chobi:
The little pup felt her tail wag even more. Stongear was serious about this scouting thing. She gave him a toothy grin.
"First we need to find the prettiest flowers and stones. And some pieces of bark and, " Little Rainingsun went on and on about material. In truth, her favorite pass time was to make accessories and model them. She loved fashion and she loved wearing fashion.
"We can also practice chasing our tails," Rainingsun chuckled.

"Ah so you are into flowers and stones." Strongear smiled, he hadn't really known any females when he was younger so this whole interest had passed him by. Would you like to find some flowers now... with my hieght, I am sure I would be able to find some good ones for you. In fact as Strongear though he had remembered seeing nice flowers just outside the pack lands, perhaps he should run out and grab them for her. As a pup she wasn't really suppose to leave the lands much, and well he could leave her standing at the border it would only take hima minute or two to run there and back to get them
Chobi:
Rainingsun shook her head wildly in a yes manner. "OF COURSE! LETS GO NOW LETS GO NOW!" The pup bounced around the male chanting lets go now over and over again. For what might have been five minutes. Her tale was wagging so fast she could have almost flown away like a helicopter. "Lets go now!!!!!" She sang.
A shiney thing on the ground stopped her though. "ooooh," She bent over and picked it up still wagging her tail. It was a bead made of glass that glinted in the moon light. Rainingsun had never seen such a thing in her life.

Strongear smiled at the young pups excitement. He gained excitement through her thought, "Come this way." he told her as he bounded towards the ledges of the prides land. He nodded towards other dogs that were gaurding the border, he spun quickly so that he was facing Rainingsun, "You wait here and I will bring back som beautiful flowers."
Withough waiting for an answer Strongear spun away and took off towards the location he knew the flowers grew in. He made it there in no time and then bent over and gingerly picked as many as he thought the pup waiting for him might want. With the flowers in his mouth he turned towards home and ran full tilt, very careful not to harm the flowers with his teeth or make them to wet.
Chobi:
Rainingsun giggled and watched him pull at the flowers. He was very good at picking them for a boy. Needless to say, Rainingsun was impressed.
"You're good with flowers." She chuckled, "Most boys aren't. You do this on you're own some times?" The little pup nuzzled the freshly picked flowers.

Strongear laughed, thinking it was funny the image of him spending his time picking flowers, and what no, "No little one I don't often do this, it is the ways of the pack that make me so talented at this, it started when I was just a pup and Risktaker taught me lessons on how to catch bugs with out killing them. But now little one I think it is time, I bring you back to your den, day light will break soon and I must set to work." he looked down at the little yellow pup. "I will talk to your mother soon, and I will get back to you on our scouting trip." he said all of this to her as he walked towards the den he knew belonged to Ani and her family.
Chobi:
Rainingsun felt her tail stop wagging and her eyes were averted to the ground. She knew that shed have to go back with her family but the pup didnt want to. Still she went with Strongear.
"Alright," She said as she pawed along side the bigger male. "But you better deliver with the scouting cause I want to do that," She pouted some in a mellow dramatic way.

"I promist to do my very best to deliver on it, I will speak with your mother tomorrow night ok?" he smiled at her. He gave her a little shove towards her den, and waited for her to go inside before he went on into the pack lands, to be an adult again.
Chobi:
The little pup gave him a 'you better' look before wagging her tail and heading back into her den. She was tired, even though she would never admit that. Sleep would be good.
Raining sun gave the semi stranger one last glance before disappearing in the shadows of her family den.
