Its so you can change color in the font when you talk in forums or profile comments and stuff.

Yup! For example, the post above this. That colour is lightsteelblue! If you want to colour your text, just do this: (Crimson is just an example). Put that before you start typing, and then when your post is done, put: at the end. This is how it should look!
