Haruko had just finished her regular training schedule and decided to take a break. Deciding to check out the painted meadow she headed for the south gate. "I bet the flowers there are really pretty." Haruko muttered to herself as she heads out the gates towards the meadow.

a silluete crawled up behind Haruko and PLACEDED A SPIDER A SPIDER ON HER HEAD?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

"hahahahahahahahhaaa!!!!! so this is how adults react to this simiple trick." the girl boasted. "you must scare easily then. oh yeah btw way... i think you crushed a poor baby butterfly with your foot." she pointed to the ground where haruko was standing on, and sure enough. there was a flat crushed butterfly. "you're so cruel..." the girl said while sniffing and rubbing her eyes.

" no i don't know" the girl said playfully

"Oki Tatstew! er i mean tatmoo, no........ wait...... tatchoo?" the girl kept mubbling random stuff until she FIANLLY got it "TATSU! yeah that's right! Oki Tatsu!" the girl beamed as if she found a chest full of candies. "oh yeah i just moved here. i got lost so i found my way here."

Kenji had now been gone from his home village for over a year. It was a very bitter day for him and he walked slowly along the banks of a river he had wandered upon, his feet dragging through the knee high grass all around him i the field he had been traveling through for the past several miles. He had not been able to explain it, but he had felt pulled in this direction for over a month now. It was almost as if something was calling him in this direction, though he knew not what. He had continued on for a month now, following close to river banks and forests...where he would always feel most at home.

His pace was slowed with the thoughts of the day...it was his birthday after all, but it no longer held a reason to celebrate for him, for it was now also the day of his exile. he had felt the pain of being torn from the forest he had known his whole life, more so on this day then any other...but he was confident that whatever was pulling him was where he should be next. Looking up from the ground, Kenji was filled with a new spirit as he saw a forest at the far edge of the plain, just beyond a village he had never been to before. he was immediately intrigued..."why did I not see it earlier..." he wondered to himself as he quickened his face and wore a smile with the new revelation.

Just as suddenly as he had quickened his pace however, he stopped again. Not too far ahead were two girls in the field. they were interestingly dressed for the area...at least different then the last village he had seen. In fact, they were dressed just about as uniquely as he was. One seemed rather young, but Kenji stood at a distance, waiting to see what the two girls were up to before moving any closer. He didn't want to interrupt anything they were doing.

After watching for a few moments, it seemed like the two girls weren't doing much at all, so Kenji figured there would be no harm in approaching them. This are was foreign to him, and perhaps they had some information on the village and the area that might explain why he had felt drawn here. Putting a smile on his face, Kenji walked towards the two girls as non-threateningly as possible, as having a man dressed as himself with a weapon tied to his back come your way was not always a comfortable situation for most.

...while still approaching them, Kenji raised his hand and waved to them, trying to get their attention... "HELLO, HELLO!", he called out to them,..."I was traveling through the area and saw the two of you standing there, I was wondering if you could help me?" Kenji continued to walk closer to them as he called out, now only about 50 ft away from them. From this distance he could see that one was fairly younger then the other, and noticeably shorter as well, but the other was of average height for women, and looked to be around the same age as he was...though he could not be sure. A rush of excitement filled Kenji, as meeting new people was always enjoyable for him, which was something that always set him apart from the xenophobic nature of his people. He continued to smile as he walked closer, hoping that they could help him.
