Exiting through the East Gate, you will find yourself in the Wandering Plains. It is a slightly hilly area covered in short-grass. The plains stretch for a couple miles east and slowly increases in altitude the farther away from the village you get.

After a long walk Akio noticed that he had left the village and was in the wandering plains, so he layed down and looked up at the sky.

Before he knew it the beautiful sky filled with cloads Akio was looking at became an even more beautiful sky filled with stars "It's getting late, i better get back to the village". As blades of grass flew into the air Akio disappeared

Setsume looked from side to side, panting from exhaustion. He had been walking for days, clueless of where he was going. Now as he stared at the blurry vision of a gate, wondering if it was an illusion or if it was real, he fell to his knees. His eyes began to close as his face pounded into the soft grass.

Kyoma breathed in from exhaustion. She had spent half the day training by herself out in the Wandering Plains. As she began to walk back to the village, she noticed a body lying in the grass. She ran to the body noticing that it was a boy who seemed to be around her age. "Hey are you okay?" She shook the boy as she turned him over. She gasped, his face carrying a few bruises. I wonder what happened to him. He looks really familiar. She held him up on her shoulder, half carrying him into the village. I hope Haru-chan is at the hospital right now.

Setsume felt his feet move underneath him, but was too tired to open his eyes. He groaned, but restrained from pulling away as he was helped to walk wherever it was he was going. "Ughhh..." He limped along with the form, unsure of where he was going. His boots half drug behind him as he shuffled along with her. The bright green pants he wore clung to his legs and his yellow shirt was ripped in several places, but somehow stayed on his body. His fingers managed to cling to his white small lolita hat, groaning again when he saw the frayed red ribbon that was barely hanging onto the side.

"Don't worry," Kyoma said to the boy, "we're almost to the village. I'm going to take you to the hospital. I have a friend there who could help you." She looked to him and made a small note to help him with his clothing style as she entered back in to the village gates. [Exited Wandering Plains and in to Central Roadways]

 Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | GeninLeading the way into the Wandering Plains, Kenji took the time to enjoy the scenery, watching the wind fly across the short grass and roll on for miles upon miles. Kenji breathed in deep as sights of nature often inspired and instilled a sense of peace in him as he closed his eyes and felt the harmony of the landscape before walking into the field to prepare for the sparring interview of his student.
Kenji jumped up and down a few times as he reached a good length of the field away from the village and began to stretch his legs and arms, limbering up for the fight. Cracking his neck back and forth a few times, Kenji was ready and awaited Amaranth's arrival and challenge.

Amaranth wandered into the field behind Kenji, her black and gray scarf flapping behind her in the wind. Glancing around the grass covered plains, she noticed that Kenji had stopped walking and sighed, he seemed quite enthusiastic about this battle. Reaching behind her back, Amaranth removed her black scythe from it holster and rested it on her shoulder as she covered the last few meters between her and Kenji. Reaching her teacher, the short student stabbed her scythe into the ground, embedding the spiked end in the earth, and looked at Kenji. He was moving around oddly, probably warming up, she thought, pausing a moment before doing the same.
After she had finished some basic stretches, Amaranth grabbed her scythe again and looked at Kenji, "So, when do we start? And what are the rules?"

While sitting on Rei's back as they flew towards the Wandering Plains, Haruko enjoyed the sights from up in the air. 'The sight from up here is pretty nice. I should go flying around town with Rei more often.' Once they flew over the village walls, Haruko spotted the field in the distance and two figures warming up. 'Seems like we got here just in time.' Haruko indicated to Rei the spot where the two were stretching and Rei flew down a few feet away from them. Once they landed, Haruko got off Rei's back and watched as the two of them finished up their stretches.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Genin"The rules are generally simple, just show me what you can do and we'll decide if you have what it takes to be a Genin of this village. Obviously nothing here is to the death or any such nonsense as that, but I guarantee you that you will be harmed if you don't came at me with all you've got." With those words, Kenji settled down and took on a strange fighting stance that seemed relaxed and ready as he kept his feet constantly moving. his form resembled that of a backstreet fighter, but the positioning of his hands out in front of him showed readiness to adapt and respond.

Amaranth nodded at the instruction and altered her grip on the scythe, placing her hand in the middle of the metal shaft. The red haired student ran towards Kenji, the black metal scythe in her hands swinging in an arc towards the teacher. The scythe was nearing Kenji's right shoulder when Amaranth twisted her wrist, sending the scythe blade arching backwards and the shaft flying towards her opponent's left leg. Letting go with her left hand, Amaranth made a short sequence of handsigns with her left hand, continuing the swing with her right. Should Kenji counter attack, she would be able to pull off a jutsu quickly to escape.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | GeninKenji was already impressed with the students confidence as she charged forward... very few would be able to do so with a tempered mind. His suspicions were confirmed as he watched the complexity of her attack. Kenji instinctually drew his kodachi from his sheath behind his hip, holding it up to defend against the blade of the scythe only to watch the attack be pulled back, the shaft of the scythe aiming for his left leg.
Seeing no alternative, Kenji lifted his leg and shifted his weight to the right, moving his body into a controlled roll off to Amaranth's left side. rolling over his back, Kenji rolled back up to one foot, his other leg kneeing on the ground. His right hand still holding his blade, Kenji performed a few quick hand seals of his own with his left hand and held his finger out towards Amaranth..."Rakurai!" As he finished his seals and said the word, a surge of electricity built up on his arm and then shot forward off of his fingertip in a one foot long bolt towards Amaranth's leftside/back. If this struck home, she would certainly be stunned and somewhat burned from the electricity.

As Kenji dodged her attack, Amaranth twisted her scythe again, using it's momentum to remain balanced before finishing off her handsigns, "Toki Kutou no jutsu," She said, creating a small silver flash that paused time. With time paused, Amaranth quickly turned and saw a bolt of electricity paused in the air between her and Kenji. Moving around the bolt, the red haired student began to circle Kenji, trying to get into a position behind him.
Halfway there however, time unfroze as she was passing by his left side and the bolt of electricity shot into the distance. Mentally cursing, Amaranth attacked with her scythe, the blunt end of the blade flying towards the underside of Kejni's left arm, before twisting her wrist again and sending the scythe shaft towards the teacher's stomach.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | GeninEverything that Kenji expected to happen was gone in an instance as he suddenly saw amaranth finish a series of hand seals and then seemed to simply move... no blurring, no specialized movement... she was just somewhere else then where she was before. Kenji was so confused. The effect was rather disorienting... as if he had lost consciousness for a second, but he was positive he had remained lucid the entire time. with no time to really size up what had happened, Kenji was caught off guard as her scythe blade's blunt end hit his left arm squarely as a surge of pain entered his arm from the force of the attack.
Reacting quickly to the second attack at his stomach, Kenji brought his right arm around, deflecting the shaft of the scythe, spinning around on his knee as he kicked out his right foot directly towards the back of Amaranth's knees, hoping to bring her down where he could bring his weapon around to hit her in the sternum with the hilt and pommel to stagger her breathing and make it harder for her to move.
