This is such a cruel, sadistic, horrible question.
I'm a Dean girl, have been since I first started watching the show.
He's my usual type of character, quick witted, cocky, great taste in music.
He's also an overprotective older sibling, like myself, so I related to him as well.
He's also absolutely gorgeous but that means nothing.
But there's also characters like Bobby and Ellen, who I always love seeing.
There's also Cas but honestly, I don't mind him not being in the episodes.
I may ship him and Dean but to be honest, sometimes the episodes work better without him.
And John.
But that's a total shallow fangirl thing there.

I am a Dean girl as well. But Cas is slowing stealing my heart as well. I love Sam too, but....
Dean beats them both when it comes to my personal preference.
He just cracks me up and his facial expressions are hilarious. Hmm...that's one of the same reasons why I love Cas so much...
SEE! He's stealing my heart!
BUT...if I could only choose one, then Dean it is. He pwns. 4ever.

But really I love Sam, Dean, and Cas greatly and for very different reasons for all of them. I think it comes to level of enjoyment as seeing them on screen when they are on, so if by that evaluation I’ve had the most problems with Sammy lately only making me warm up to him a few times in the past couple seasons ( still absolutely love him though) Dean has been given a lot better scenes then Sam so there's that ( I don’t think I need to even talk about how much I love Dean). And, well every scene Castiel has been in I've loved, or loved the presence of him.
so, well, uh. I'm not going to say it, so you get what you can from that.
I find it hilarious that all the Dean girls are having their hearts stolen by Cas xD He doesn’t have to be your favorite character or near it, hell you can have your problems with him (though I don’t know what it could be) but somewhere in every SPN fan has some love for Cas however minute or unseen ( you love him, you just don’t know it.) The guy's just too endearing.

I don't think she was offended, dude, it's okay. xD It's a...horribly torn fangirl thing, not your question. ;D It's basically that picking a favorite is...I think SOMEONE (eight?) said it's like picking between your right arm and another right arm? xDD
So it's cool. *pats*
MY FAVORITE CHARACTER? gonk I want to say Castiel. But then I remember "Oh wait, I very much love Dean and always have." AND THEN, there's times where I adore Sam. Like, Mystery Spot made me want to leap in the tv and cuddle him and pet his face.
I'm going to have to go with the ALL MY FAVORITES answer. xD At least for the three of them. Loving them all in very different ways and whatnot. I think for the MOST PART? I love Sam the least.
I'll always love him about as much as I love his kitty-counterpart. I don't want anything bad to happen to mah Sammy, I'll feed the b***h when she's hungry, I'll luffle her when she's being cute and wants it - but she'll always make me do this *facepalm and throws outside* because she's definitely season four Sam. But even before then, I don't think I have favored him to Dean. (You know, who I love like HIS kitty-counterpart...'s son, because he ran away. gonk )
Dean can get on my nerves - but like a few of you, he's my character type too. xD It's a pattern, fo real. I like 'em snarky, broken, emotionally-challenged and heroic. razz
I've never seen a character like Cas...so I wouldn't have know he was my type of character. I love him. D: *flails*
Everyone else doesn't matter as much to me. razz I do, however, prefer John, Bobby and Chuck to the rest of the recurring roles or guest stars.

Defiently DEAN! I love everything about him, there has been a few rare times where he pissed me off but I still love him anyway.
Reason: his car, type of clothes, sense of humor, choice in music, how he cares for his family and friends, his jackass of a smile right after he says a joke, that broding look he gets when he is upset, his hott body from the rare chances you see him without his clothes, his attachment to the neckless he keeps around his neck.
Did I mention I want to have his children. xd
