OK so im a bisexual meaning i like guys and girls. After people found out they start acting different. I have a girlfriend and they still do this. It annoys me, what is it about gays thats is so scary?
i can take the fact that religious people would be a bit against because its in their religion but most people i know are atheist. they think homosexuality is wrong i dont care because everybody has their own opinion.
do they think gays are animals and dont know how to control themselves? its so aggravating having people shy away from you because of your sexuality

It's hard to get into the heads of these intolerant homophobes. It could be ingrained from society and/or family, it could be fear of the unknown, or insecurity about their own sexual preference. It seems to me that almost everyone is bisexual to a degree. Someone could be 97% straight and 3% gay and be so afraid of that 3% that they lash out on those who are more open.
Whatever the case is I find it to be more hurtful then aggravating. Although it is also aggravating. I am also bi and as a female with a bf I seem to get more slack. Even turns lots of straight guys on :/ I don't know what I would do if I was a guy or completely gay. I'm so sensitive as it is and listening to so many homophobes kills me inside as it is...anyhow, point is that people need to be less nosy. It is none of their business what someone else feels towards others and they shouldn't persecute people for things that are not wrong nor can they control. I have a friend who is homophobic and he has been really sweet and putting in effort to refrain from saying hurtful things about it in front of me, which I appreciate so much. But according to him he truly believes that being gay is a choice. I know that is nonsense because I am partially gay and I know I can't control my attractions. But from the outside looking in maybe others agree with him because they can't experience what it is like for us. Either way, it is important not to impose biases on others. It is damaging and wrong.

I am not entirely sure what to say about the subject, really. I do think that Christianity is the sole blame for it. That's just me. If those folks who can't keep preaching that homosexuality is wrong spreads the word around so people began as it keeps getting reiterated into their brains think that it is wrong.
You have some folks who continue to hold to their ideals that no matter what the person's sexuality you should treat them with respect not like some animal, although, animals aren't to be treated wrongfully either...
Anyway, I am so against religion. It gives me the most uncomfortable feeling in the world and I think it's a cause of this "hate" towards the homosexual community. People separate things into categories and it's just one of those very abstract, abnormal and unethically different to a lot of people and it scares them because it disrupts their ways of life.
I don't see how a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, trans-gender, drag queen and cross dressers lives have to with others lives. It should not matter to them what someone else practices or does in their life. It's not anywhere near them. I just wish people would see beyond themselves and practice a little tolerance and acceptance. If we all just came to the conclusion that differences are not so bad then maybe we could get along.
Then of course if we all got along there wouldn't be much to talk nor would this thread even exist. I sort of strayed from the initial subject, but I can say that "hate" pollutes this country of America and with the way it started running under Bush it just took a turn for the worse and he was not too keen to get rid of this "hate." Obviously, Presidents' have bigger jobs to focus on, but paying a little more attention to their people would suffice for some.
I can't stand the blatant disregard people have for homosexuals. After all they have the same biological set up as everyone else. They have the basic human needs and emotions. What more must be judged?

The only reason I didnt ban you is due to what you said about religion.
Though, my hatred for homos are on a whole different level and I have my own personal reason.
I dont care who you are. You can be who ya want and live your own life. I dont control you.
If you want to suck cocks for aliving go for it. The only thing I ask is that they dont act it or hit on me. Ill keep to myself if theydo the same.
Im not arrogant. I have my reasons. Ill post them later. lmao

Yes, they have their support, but did you understand when I was saying that you can't squirm around like the victim when they are the ones beat up with bats and such?
Of course, I don't know you personally. I am just stating an opinion of mine because it's confusing when you say that you don't approve of the lifestyle, yet it's their life so it doesn't bother you. That seems backwards to me. And if you want them to stay away from you that's homophobia.
I say if you're okay with it you don't care that they are kissing in front of you or are around you for any reason. Yes, it might be uncomfortable if a gay man started to flirt with you, but that's when you just say, "Dude! Come on, no. Stop." Most understand that you are straight and if they immediately start to call you an idiot or a homophobic then they are an overall disrespectful person.
Can you see where I'm confused? Maybe if you elaborated a bit more for me. I even read your posts when you were talking to Patience, but I am still confused.
