Nea did not like new recruits.
New recruits meant more competition, more competition meant more work for Nealite. Ergo, New recruits were a bad thing.
However, once every blue moon, Nealite found it humorous to bully around a new recruit, and felt the urge to do so again. Perhaps if she even played her cards right, Charonite would see it as training.
Ha.
Her foot dangled on the side of the roof, the house having been scoped and picked out earlier in the day. She'd brought Moonstone down with her this evening, however, telling the girl it would be a lesson in star seed capturing. Needless to say, the new chick wasn't very pleased with the idea.
"Alright, let's go!" Nealite cheerfully ordered, swinging herself down and landing on the balcony of the well to-do house in the well to-do neighborhood. It was key to do it in a fancy neighborhood, Nea knew. More challenging.
Looking up, she waited for her tan-skinned companion.
"Are you coming?"

She stiffened in frustration at the commanding tone, yes the woman was older but... She didn't care for this at -all-, her lips tightened into a thin line and she offered a curt nod in reply, pondering how it might be to find her pen knife and sink it into this -woman's- thigh... or cut her hair off... somehow the latter seemed like it might be the more effective tact oddly, it was soothing to some degree to imagine her screaming over a pate shaved like 'G.I. Jane' though... and with that to soothe her she followed. God... why did they have to do it someplace that felt so PUBLIC...

Ugh. Another quiet one.
Quiet ones were both the best and the worst recruits to deal with. Best in the fact that, well, they were ******** quiet, but worst in the way that even if you wanted to talk to them, they'd still never respond.
"Remember," she warned the girl as she stepped inside the house, "You're to say you are a senshi during this. Lose your cover and you're as good as dead with Charonite."
Which, of course, wasn't exactly true...but it didn't hurt to have a bit of fun, right?
Creeping into what appeared to be a master bedroom, it wasn't long before Nealite heard the voices of the home's inhabitants. She'd learned from her exploring earlier that it currently housed a single mother and three children. Judging by the expensive taste in the house, Nealite had to guess that either mom was well off, or there was a divorce suit somewhere in the family's history.
Motioning for the other girl to follow, she crept down the stairs and into the brightly lit hallway. The voices seemed to be coming from the dining room area... one...two... there, three children's voices from the dining room, and it sounded like the mother's was on the move.
Darting forward, Nealite finally was able to lay eyes on the mother, who seemed to be preparing the dishes in the kitchen while the children waited on their dinner in the dining room.
Turning to the other lieutenant, Nealite pointed towards the older female.
"Do you want to take her?"

Moonstone's eyes widened remembering when she was 'Recruited'... the body in the woods she'd helped burry, the -smell- of it. It wasn't like she'd -never- killed before, but it'd always been animals. Animals.. not people....
not...
FAMILIES.
Her face showed her utterly aghast. "Maybe you better show me how its -done-" She said meaning sarcasm but her voice taught as a bow string with tension... "You can't be -serious-"

"You have to be ******** kidding me."
Nealite stared at Moonstone for a moment. The chick hadn't even so much as hesitated before saying no. Where in the world did Charonite pick up these people?
Letting out an exaggerated sigh, it took all of ten seconds for her to sneak her way into the kitchen and crouch behind the mother. Using one hand to wrap around good 'ol mom's mouth, she jerked the woman backwards and pressed her against herself.
Taking her other hand, Nealite reached around and roughly shoved it into the woman's chest, quickly grasping hold of the precious jewel that lay within. With one pull she yanked it out of the woman, who began to have a seizure in her arms, her eyes terrified and staring out, unable to voluntarily move.
The older lieutenant let go of the woman, allowing her shaking body to hit the ground with a sickening thud. The woman jerked a few more times, then grew eerily still.
Satisfied with the job, Ursula then took a step towards the dining room. Thankfully, there was only one way in or out, so standing before the door created a successful blocking point.
"Hello darlings," She said as sweetly as possible. "Did your mother tell you about the Sailor Senshi?"
The children screamed, and Nealite stepped forward happily.

Moonstone -stiffened- sharply at the sight of Nealites hand sinking into the woman's chest, all too freshly recalling how it had felt when it happened to her. Could they -all- do that? Was she expected to...
She should have, she thought, been a great deal more -horrified- by that idea than she was, it was like... moral Novocain, whatever he'd done... but, there was still reluctance, no -desire- yet... while she struggled to justify what she was expected to do. After all she had NO desire to die.
She cursed under her breath and moved into the kitchen with -war- in her eyes... rage was the only thing she could feel with certainty right now she thought. Three children... orphaned, just like that... she trembled, torn between her 'duty' and their -age- and screaming.

There were three standing there, all between the ages of five and eight. Two boys, one girl.
With a smug grin on her face, Nealite pointed to the girl.
"You. Come here."
The girl naturally refused, her blue eyes staring terrified at the stranger in front of her. She'd been told what senshi were. Her mother had warned her, and now there was a senshi in her house!
Nealite sighed and held her hand to her head, obviously in no mood to deal with small disobedient children.
"Alright, then. First one over here gets to live."
The three children, as innocent as they were, failed to possess the caution and hesitance that most adults had. All three jumped from their chairs and hauled it for Nealite, the oldest boy reaching her before his siblings.
She patted him on the shoulder, and crouched down to be staring at his level.
"I have something for you to do now," she explained, staring him directly in the eye. "I want you to run outside and run to the very first house you see. When you get there, I want you to tell them that there are two senshi in your house and that they've just killed your entire family."
The boy, who had begun crying as she spoke, was now sobbing uncontrollably.
"Do you understand?"
He nodded his head, mucus running down his nose as tears continued to consistently flow down his face.
"Good. Now go."
With that, the boy had taken off and out the front door, leaving the door wide open.
Turning back to her partner, Nealite motioned towards the two children.
"Moon, you have approximately five minutes before that child brings back the authorities. In that amount of time, you get to steal at least one of these children's star seeds. Fail to do so, and you'll be captured by the police. And when I say captured by the police, I mean Charonite will find your miserable a** in whatever jail cell you're put in and he will retrieve you and make you wish he had killed you from the start of day one. Any questions?"
Without giving the girl time to respond, the orange haired 'senshi' gave her a grin.
"Hop to it, hm?"

Her mouth was again a line so thin it could have been a razors edge, her brown eyes could have thrown -daggers- had it been in her power to do so... and she desperately wished it were. She glanced at the Children... back at Nealite and then at the children again...
Better her... than Nealite... they'd die one way or another. They -would-... Nealite would kill them if she didn't, she'd come back if she didn't...
Better this... perhaps, than being... torn apart by either relatives without enough room... or bureaucrats placing them in foster care.
One 'got away'... for now... Long enough at least to spread horror stories about 'senshi'... Where had -they- been when she was being drawn into all of this... bastards... BASTARDS. Her lip curled and she grabbed one of the children and -made- herself try to reach the damned thing before her stomach gave in and she lost what remained of what she had last eaten.

She watched on, smugly, as the native american girl seemed to struggle with herself when it came to star seed plucking.
A few seconds passed by, and it was almost as if the other girl was rummaging around for it. As impatient as Nealite was, this was taking forever.
Nealite picked up the third child by the collar of her shirt, the girl who had the opportunity to run, but didn't. The lieutenant gave her a smile before turning back to Moonstone.
"Do you need someone to show you how to do it?" she asked, her tone mocking. Setting the girl on the table, Nealite's gloved hand quickly dove into the girl's chest, forcing a terrified shriek out of the child. Still keeping her eyes towards her partner, Nealite made a point of simply swirling her hand around in the chest cavity, prolonging the child's pain and fear until finally, she could take no more of the irritating pitch of the child's voice, so plucked the seed from within her. The girl slumped back onto the table, and Nealite lifed the seed up to examine the beautiful shine.
"You've got about a minute or so, Moon, if you wouldn't mind hurrying," she commented dryly, pocketing the seed as she turned to watch the other girl's struggling.

Moonstone's eyes fixated on her... and then narrowed terribly... finding what she had to assume was her target, she closed her eyes and pulled it free, the child going doll like in her arms... she thought she was going to hyperventilate, trying to focus for just a second on her breathing... It was over... for the child at least.
"Lets go..." She said her voice carying the flat edge of shock and she was already shivering slightly.
She'd -killed-, she'd -killed-... or as good as.
"Lets go... or I'll leave -you- for the cops..." she said tightly dropping the child and trying so hard not to register the sound of them hitting the floor.

Smirking, Nealite crossed her arms over her chest for a brief moment, ignoring the fluffy bow and frills that tickled her arm as she did so.
"See? That wasn't so bad now, was it?"
She could tell by looking at her eyes alone that Moonstone was going through internal hell. It was painfully obvious that she had a higher regard for life than what the remaining lieutenants had, and it was amusing for the older woman to watch as her face distorted during her killing.
Thinking she heard a noise outside, Nealite's arms returned to her side and she nodded her head. "Though, I would have to agree with you. Best to leave while still an option."
Turning around, she was quick to spot the door to the backyard and made a run for it. With a twist of the knob, she was out the door and off to create more havoc as her new alter-ego, but this time, without the assistance of a sniveling do-gooder lieutenant at her side.

Shaved bald.. the thought resurfaced ridiculously amid her internal tumult... She just had to get away... it'd be so much worse if she were caught. SO much... if she got to the point where she was allowed to do this on her own... maybe she could.. steal seeds from people whom were already suffering.. or something.
...
were they even human anymore? How the hell could she make her hand slide into someone else's chest like that...
Her heart and stomach twisted in a knot and she placed a hand on the mask at her belt...
Not human...
A little wolverine...
Not human...
s**t..
