She'd been perched in the tree for quite some time now, but she knew that at any moment, the bus would appear. And when the bus appeared, so would the children.
Nealite had been waiting for a good twenty minutes or so up on the branch of the large oak tree in the schoolyard. The elementary school was coincidentally near Hillworth Grammar, so Nea was well aware of what time the little brats got out due to the daily afternoon noise they would make in the courtyard.
Today, however, if everything went according to plan, there would be nothing but the sound of parents' screaming filling the air once they found their darlings laying dead on the grass.
"Any minute now, Gren," the fake senshi told her companion, "Annnny minute now."

He'd been skeptical about this whole 'Sailor Nea' shenanigan from the first day it'd been presented to him, but even Grendel had to admit that Ursula was somehow managing to pull it off. It was fairly easy slipping between the ranks of the senshi--no one questioned a stray cat much, after all--and he was now seated on the tree next to the girl in question.
The strap of the video camera was a bit tight around his neck, but he'd managed to stuff his head through it, idly using his paws and the tree branch he was perched on in order to keep the thing steady. "Turn around and smile occasionally. One of those silly little poses or something." He mused, actually seeming to be willing to participate in this for once in his life.
Bright eyes flicked thoughtfully to the girl, and the cat almost seemed to be grinning. "If this doesn't make headlines, then the world's more corrupted than I first thought."

It was only about half an hour since the school day had ended, but Delphine hadn't quite changed out of Crystal Academy's uniform. She didn't really have any plans other than biking home for the weekend to hang out with her family, a sort of mini-vacation, if you will. Delphine wasn't keen on getting to her destination though, instead planning to stop at the shopping mall a few blocks from the elementary school... She could do with a new pair of jeans, since the ones she did wear unfortunately got turn on one of her late night excursions.
Her grip on the handlebars tightened as she picked up speed, intending to get past the elementary school as quickly as possible, because honestly, little giggling kids weren't her favorite things in the world. She could do without having to listen to their cheers that the weekend was finally here. If she felt more inspired to break a sweat, she would have taken a few blocks around the school to avoid the elementary students. But... sacrifices had to be made, and this time it would be a few seconds of insanity. Maybe if she pedaled quickly enough she'd get out of the school's area before the children were released.
...But, no, fortune was apparently not on her side this afternoon. Delphine groaned almost silently as the bell rang, announcing the childrens' release from school.

Nealite laughed softly at her companion, shaking her head. This was a new side of Grendel that she'd never seen before, and she was thoroughly enjoying his enthusiasm and (dare she mention it) his support?
She opened her mouth to respond to him, when the distinct sound of the school bell began clamoring in the air. School was out, time for the mission.
A few minutes passed by, and the bus pulled up along the curb. As it did so, a stream of children came pouring out of the school, accompanied by two teachers. Both teachers were of normal build, nothing too amazing. Nea was fairly certain she could take them both down without a fuss, and with a minimum loss of children running off.
Slipping off the branch, she circled back and headed towards the teachers from behind, doing her best to stay unnoticed. Which of course, failed horribly considering she was skulking around in a black and orange fuku with giant orange pigtails on her head. Nevertheless, she was on the first teacher as she screamed, and the star seed was removed fairly swiftly. The other teacher, bless her heart, was busy trying to herd the students to the bus as quickly as possible.
Pausing to survey her surroundings, Nealite had to make a quick decision. Go for the teacher and then for the kids with her, or head directly for the bus and take care of them all on ******** it," she murmured to herself, and her high heels directed their pathway towards the bus itself, children frantically attempting to scramble on board and away from the murdering senshi.

Show time already. The cat idly smacked at the camcorder until it reluctantly flicked to life, making sure to catch a good glimpse of Nealite stalking closer to the unsuspecting lot before the first teacher went down with a bloodcurdling sound that would have made his hair stand up had he not been so used to it. Panic, sweet, simple panic; children were crying and shrieking, and it seemed the other teacher had taken up the role as the hero, trying to lead her frenzied flock to the bus.
Admirable, but not so wise when the hungry wolf could enter exactly the same way.
His tail flicking thoughtfully, the cat's eyes flicked from the tiny recording screen to the actual, one-sided fight of sorts, unable to help but watch. It really was curious, in a way, and there was some part of him that almost pitied the innocent. Still. Necessary sacrifice; it was a mantra instilled deep into his mind, and he would not--could not forget it.
It made for a great horror movie, honestly.

She nearly rode her bike right into the 'Slow, Children Crossing' sign pole when the sounds of children screaming (rather than their joyous laughter) reached her ears. As it was, she fell off her bike about a foot from it in astonishment at what she saw. Was that a sailor scout across the schoolyard chasing after the students? She righted herself as adrenaline pumped through her system. That couldn't be a sailor scout... or it could, some ******** up sailor scout giving the rest of them a bad rap. The thought crossed her mind, and she confirmed it instantly without much serious thought behind it.
s**t. Why did these things have to happen when she least wanted them to? Whomever that sailor scout was, she was going to have a very pleasant surprise when Delphine got over there.
It was time for a quick outfit change, Delphine considering it safe enough when everyone was too distracted by trying to protect the school children and running away from the monster that was harming them. She was now Sailor Nemesis, her black and blue fuku in place, her skull brooch righted... It was time to destroy that sailor scout, there was no mercy on her mind. No, she really was going to break this girl apart.
She dashed across the school yard to intercept the 'sailor scout's' path after the school children. Nemesis was, to put it simply, pissed. Her weekend was off to a horrible start... but at least she could look at this positively. She'd get to kick this b***h's a**. "So you're the c**t messing with our rep!" she announced, figuring it was enough to get the... oh wow, her fuku really was ugly... back on track! It was enough to get the woman's attention.
"Well, guess what, in the name of Nemesis, I'm going to GLADLY break you apart, piece by piece!"

If there was one thing she did not expect, it was to see a senshi running amongst the toddlers and elementary school students.
Nealite stopped in her tracks as the fair skinned girl headed her way.
s**t. s**t. s**t.
A wave of her hand produced her worthless mirror, but at least it was something she could use as a blunt object, if need be. She stared down the girl, mentally debating her options.
If she fought, there was a chance to win, which was good. But there was also a fairly good chance that she would lose, which would not be ********, me? Darling you must be mistaken, I see no we, only you there!"
She moved forward and took her own practiced senshi stance, lifting her mirror up in the air, silently praying to all the dark forces of the Negaverse that this would work.
"And in the name of Astraea, I, Sailor Nea, will ******** YOU UP WITH THIS MIRROR IF YOU TAKE ONE GODDAMN STEP CLOSER."

And what this? Grendel jerked his head up to watch the blue and black senshi unexpectedly streak across the schoolyard, straight towards where Nealite was about to get down to business.
Not good.
Ignoring the video camera for now, the guardian cat watched intently; at the first sign of trouble, he'd be gone in a flash--but not to leave Nea to her fate, for once. No, there was a secret weapon lying in Hillworth, and though it was a little banged up at the moment, two against one...
He crouched silently in the tree, knowing there was no way he could be seen, but not wanting to take any unnecessary risks, either. And if Nea knew what was good for her, she wouldn't either--until she started spewing curses at the top of her lungs, forcing the cat to cover his face with a paw. So much for that, better luck next time.

...A mirror?
Oh, you had to be ******** joking with her. This senshi was going to attack her with a mirror? If Sailor Nea hadn't just attacked a bunch of school children, Nemesis probably would have laughed. As it was, though, this stupid b***h was going down no matter how pathetic she seemed. "Well, it seems like I'll be enough to beat you, so they decided to sit this round out." Of course, she didn't have any sort of back-up. For now, Nemesis was content to do things the solo route. It had been working out so far, and really, if her enemies all turned out to be like this... there was no reason for her to have a partner. She'd get bored from having nothing to do!
Very slowly, drawing out the motion carefully, she inched a heel forward, taking a small, but very clear step towards Sailor Nea. "Let's see if you can get close enough to hit me first! Paralyze your movement!" Now, the best she could hope for was that her attack would kick in BEFORE Sailor Nea whacked her in the head with her mirror.
...Then again, she was sure that wouldn't hurt so bad. With her confidence boosted, she took another step closer, extending a hand to crook her finger in an invitational sort of gesture. "C'mon, you better use that mirror of your's before your face breaks it!"
Sometimes kicking a** really did give her a high.

Was this b***h high?
"Is that all you have, Sailor Gothica?" Nealite asked, an incredulous expression on her face. She looked down and made a show of examining herself, "I think you kind of missed there, darling."
Looking back up, she smiled and started making her way towards Gothica, mirror firmly gripped in hand. So this little tart was just about as powerless as she was! Perhaps Nea did stand a chance, after all!
Waving the mirror in one hand, she gave the other girl a grin.
"I dunno, Gothy, I think I'm the one with the blunt object here while you have.... what is it? Oh, right. Nothing."

Mm, a good bluff, but no dice; it seemed as though Nea's opponent had seen straight through her. She was lucky that mirror really couldn't do anything, at least not right now... The cat's nails sank quietly into the bark as Nemesis seemed to counterattack--but from the incredulous look on Ursula's face, it had missed.
The battle of the tyrant toddlers, when it came to skill, truly. But Nea was older and had a weapon... of sorts, and so perhaps luck was on her side. Grendel leaned forward eagerly as his charge advanced, silently hoping she'd be able to strike out and succeed.
From the looks of it, she couldn't have been going up against a better opponent!

s**t.
Did she miss? She couldn't have missed! It just took a little while... either way, she hadn't really tested her power out past one attack, so she wasn't sure what to do. She'd give it a little more time before trying to come with a new form of attack... besides, she was going up against a mirror. Nemesis was sure she could handle some hag wielding a mirror. "I can't miss," she replied with a voice full of confidence. Well, maybe if she bluffed good enough, Sailor Nea might pause long enough for Nemesis to find some sort of weapon and beat her skull in with it. "You should begin to feel it soon... or rather, not feel any of your limbs."
Yeah, rattling her mouth seemed to be a good idea right now. Nemesis stood her ground, feigning confidence, because like hell she'd back away and give Nea a chance to call her bluff. "It'll start in your fingertips, and slowly up your arms... soon you won't be able to move at all, and guess what b***h? I'm going to pluck the pretty little hand mirror out of your claws and smash it against your face."
She balled her hand into a fist and took another step forward. If her bluff didn't work... well, her hand had to be more powerful than a mirror. If she could get a punch in, this battle would be as good as her's, and then she could string Sailor Nea up on the flagpole for the police to pick up.

"Well the only thing I'm feeling right now would be the thrill of knowing I'm going to bash that silly head of yours in."
The description of the attack was terribly morbid sounding, but as Nea had felt absolutely nothing, she wasn't concerned at all. Okay, well, maybe a little.
She happily raised her hands up, ready to bring the mirror crashing down when... wait. What the hell? Had she been ******** serious?
Nealite brought her hands down and stared at them. Her... her fingers.
She couldn't feel her fingers!
"What the <********>?!" she stammered, unsure of what was going on. Dear god, this b***h really did paralyze her.
Looking up, she scowled at Gothy, hesitated for a moment, and then cocked back her finger-numbed hand and sent it sailing for the senshi's face as a last attempt for a '******** you' before things could get worse.

Oh, fantastic. Grendel's little paws were stubbornly pushing at the camcord around his neck, propping it against the tree trunk as soon as he heard Nea's outburst of surprise. He could hear sirens on the way--someone had called the cops! Whatever was going on wasn't good, and he wasn't even going to bother seeing how this turned out. No one would see the pudgy streak of blue-grey and black sprinting full tilt towards Hillworth, and by the time he managed to find a way inside, the guardian was out of breath and panting.
Claws would scrabble wildly at the door where he sensed Obsidian behind it, hissing and spitting before he glanced around to make sure no one was in earshot. "Obsidian! Nealite's in trouble!"
In his defense, he was only slightly drunk. Upon hearing a suspiciously familiar voice at his door. Lurching to his feet (and trying not to wince when his sides ached in vehement protest), the man kicked open the door and peered outside... realizing belatedly he'd smashed the cat in the face. "The ******** you going on about? What about her?"
Staggering a little with shock, Grendel shook himself furiously before he lashed out with his claws, swiping the man hard across his bruised leg. "Just get out here and make yourself useful, for once. There's a senshi fighting with her right now." The cat hissed before dashing off again, only pausing to stop occasionally to make sure the lieutenant was following.
Growling and trying not to hop on one leg, Drew moved as quickly as he could without re-injuring himself, soon slipping outside the school where he could hear screams and shouts only a short distance away. Transforming quickly, Obsidian wrapped an arm around his middle and took off--why today of all days, when he could barely run in a ******** straight line?

She was so relieved to hear Sailor Nea's exclamation of surprise that she could admit that she... uh... SO did not see that punch coming. Sailor Nea's partially paralyzed hand hit her face, and it wasn't as wimpy of an assault as Nemesis could have hoped for. NO, it bloody hurt. And WHY THE ******** HELL DID EVERYONE GO FOR HER FACE? She cursed vehemently, stumbling back out of Nea's range to wipe some blood off of her face. Her last attack of her face had barely healed up and she was already being dealt another!
Okay, this b***h was going down. Nemesis was going to make it so that this b***h couldn't be recognized by whatever family she had. "What is with people and ******** hitting my face!?" She could hear the sounds of police sirens in the background, but paid them no mind. Nemesis had every intention of hurting Sailor Nea before the police arrived, and she wouldn't waste any second of it. "You're going to wish you didn't hit me!"
She thrust her fist at Sailor Nea's face, thinking on the logic of 'an eye for an eye... and then a whole lot ******** more'. Nemesis didn't stop there, or rather, didn't see the need to stop with one punch, instead aiming to hurt Nea in every way possible while the paralysis took effect and stayed in effect... because it never lasted long. If kicking and punching could paralyze this b***h permanently, Nemesis would gladly do it.
Moral of the story: People have GOT to stop hitting her face!
