The girls had been begging their parents to take them to the park for about three days straight and finally Beatrice gave in when Evan was out with his friends. Instead of going in her black panther form she decided to go in her human form. Her black panther ears barely poked out of her long cotton candy blue hair as her light pink eyes looked left and right while crossing the street to the park.
Amelia was toddling slowly beside her mother while holding onto her hand. Being more of an observer she watched all the people around her with a calm look. She loved to watch people, it was what she thought was fun. She liked how the swings moved back and forth and her eyes moved like she was watching a tennis ball.
Bridget was sitting a top of her mother's shoulders and clearly apperared mesmerized at the site and smells of the park. She wasn't the best at focusing on one thing at a time. She had to be in five different places at once. She was also rather social, differing from her twin sister. She loved meeting people and talking to them, as best she could though for she was still a baby.
Beatrice picked a spot under a nice shady tree and set Bridget down next to Amelia. Smiling at them she commensed reading one of her many books.
Amelia and Bridget gazed to each other before Amelia sat down and stared up at the sky. Bridget crinkled her nose but sat next to her sister and stared up at the sky as well.

Howl, once again, had escaped. Much to his father's dislike, though the dark elf found himself following the toddler to the park anyway. "Thophie!" Howl called, looking across the field. He stumbled once, but that was only because he hadn't been looking where he was going. He'd been looking over his shoulder, as if to make sure his father was following. Polite of him--no wait. He wasn't looking at his father at all. He was conversing with a teardrop shaped flame, or that's what it looked like.
"You shouldn't be doing this," said Calcifer, "You know what your father'll say."
Howl did, too. Zee would get mad, and tell him not to do that again; and give him another time out. Still, finding Sophie was worth thousands of time outs. He'd spend days in the time out corner, if he was guarenteed to find her. He loved her with all his heart--okay, that was a lie. He no longer had a heart. Still, he honestly loved her. He remembered loving her. "Thophie! Where are you?"
Zee sighed, and decided to let Howl go on with his search. He felt guilty for always punishing the boy, when all he wanted to do was find someone he cared about. Anyway, maybe Howl would make some friends. Maybe they would distract him, and cheer him up.

Bridget's ears twitched when she heard a voice shout out. Eyes quickly averting from the clouds above she gazed upon Howl. Smiling widely she got up and toddled over to him, leaving Amelia still staring up at the sky. She poked Howl on the back and purred.
"Hi hi! What'cha do'in?" She asked, giggling sweetly.
