So, tomorrow they're taking out our old heaters and putting more energy effiecient ones in. We were supposed to move everything to the center of our rooms and take everything out of our closets, but my room is very small and the walls are lined with fish tanks. So I did the best I could. They can go ******** themselves if they think I'm moving my 20g. 1g of water = roughly 10lbs. So that's a 200lb tank on top of a flimsy wooden dressser, Accident waiting to happen. I did move my smaller tanks.
And of course there's all kinds of crap on my bed from my closet, and of course this has to be the week one of my friends I never hear from gets kicked out and comes to stay. So she's one on couch, and my brother is on the other one because he finished cleaning before me. So I get the living room floor. It's times like these I'm glad I have a laptop. I don't even wanna think about later in the morning. They'll pobably come a little while after I fall asleep, and if there's no dew, I'm moving my blankets outside and sleeping on the grass.

you have no idea how much i loathe having any sort on strange person in the house, i always hide up in my room until they leave.
my greatest sypathies to you, but congrats on getting new heaters. i would just die if i had to move all the stuff in my room away from the walls, my rat cage is bigger than i am. sure it has wheels but its on carpet. also the last time we had people come in the bedrooms was when i got my new mattress and the guys freaked out when they saw my bearded dragon. now if we have strange people over we have to hide the reptiles because too many people get freaked out over seeing a baby snake behind glass

Wow, worker people are stupid. I'm hoping they don't knock over my fish tank. They haven't shown up yet though, which is bad.

I'm wishing on all my lucky stars for the stability of your fish tanks.

Thanks guys, I forgot to update this. They never came so I talked to the person in charge and she said they won't be at our apartment for another month. I was pretty pissed but anyway, I rearranged my room a way it hasn't been since I first moved in (when I was 7) and it actually has a lot more room now and it'll be easier to move everything when they do come.
But if I move that tank again I'm afraid my dresser will collapse, so I need to look into getting a proper stand for it before then.

On the bright side, you have a LOT more room in your personal space. I only hope people get a move on with the heaters.
I got nothing on the faulty shelf except check Craigslist.
