Okay so I was driving home with my mom and somehow it came around to talking about lesbians and my sexuality. My mom is so adamant that I'm not say she says to me "If you know so much about lesbian relationships tell me what goes on in them." I'm like WTF!? How do you answer a question like that?!
Does anything like that happen to you?

Wow... That seems a bit interesting... I doubt my mom would ever ask me that since my mom doesn't even know about me yet... domokun

No no, I can't say that has happened to me...but something similar... My grandma tried to 'understand' why I am the way I am...
She asked me questions like, 'why cant you just change, I want you to have sex with a girl just so you will know.' Im like WTF and reversed the question 'How do you know you're straight, surely you havent had sex with a female' She tried to tell me that she would have if there was anyone willing *cough* bullshit *cough* I called her on it... anywho... I dont think she still quite understands that I cant choose not to be gay.

No not quite. By my response would be >>

"The same thing that goes on in any other Heto dating couple. Going out on dates, holding hands, huging, enjoying each other company. And all that good stuff."

That's exactly what I was going to say but I decided not to.
She says that being gay is fashionable lately and to some it may be but it's also safer to come out lately... slightly safer.
Oh and then she went on this whole thing about what happened on Six Feet Under. I'm like "MOM gonk " Comparing me to a TV show where the girl realized that she was attracted to girls just not in a sexual way... Well I told her I had no sexual interest in men (and I'm 16) and she's like "Oh, that's natural at your age"... uh natural at 10 maybe but not 16

I dunno, I had only a little interest in men at that age. ^_~ Seriously, though, your mom needs to read up on psychology or something, 'cause her ideas are sadly out of date.

And she's the one always telling me about her gay friends from high school and the gay man who she would have married if she hadn't met my dad because they were such good friends that they figured they would live in a two bedroom apartment and be married just for the benefits' sake.
It's like "It's okay to be gay as long as you aren't my child."
But she makes little snide remarks whenever she sees a lesbian or gay couple, which was like... 10 at the hotel we stayed at in barbados

The more I talk to people, the more I find that so-called "adults" never leave high school behind and continue to act like immature shits throughout their lives.

Some people think gay is promiscous, that is just plain stupid, who you like doesn't relate to how promiscous you are

I'd have said,

'The same that happens in a straight relationship, only, females are more understanding of eachother, so there would be no fighting about periods and other female issues. Also, men are more rough than females, so thats part of the reason why lesbians are lesbians.'

It's pretty much as simple as that for me.
