Introduce yourself if you want. You don't have to, but if you're going to do it, do it here.

Yo. I'm Gaius.
I used to do a bit of chaos magic a while ago, but kinda slipped away from it. Some otherkin I've met this semester, though, seem to be determined to pull me back onto the edge between the mundane and the unmundane.

Uhm. Mare Greenling, college student, geek, tranny, yet another one of those otherkin people, like talking about myself, and have no idea what the hell I'm doing with this "magic" thing but it keeps coming up in my life.
I'm like Rincewind, in a way. Except without the neat adventures or the pointy hat, and keeping the cowardly thing.
I need a pointy hat...

Hi, I'm Midara. I've had a deep interest in chaos magic for a few years now. I've dabbled here and there and generally had good results. I have problems working with energy and I'm really a n00b with magic. I have a lot of questions and I'm pretty exicted to learn more and to integrate chaos magic into my path. 3nodding

Then come at it from the atheist vantage point. Magic is based on scientific principles that have yet to be fully understood and quantified. Peter Carroll, the inventor of Chaos Magic, has since moved on from active involvement in the magical community, and is currently seriously working on the science side of things. There's a link to his site in the links thread. Chaos Magic is inherently atheistic (though, not anti-theistic). Start studying math and quantum physics if you want to get far with chaos magic.

My name's Helen, but on Gaia, I prefer Ceru or Cerulean. I joined more because of my interest than my knowledge. I have a Discordian friend, and I'm a learning pagan. I'm coming at this from a Jewish house and my system is much influenced by it.
