person in game that has a shiny pokemon? I read somewhere that it's possible that trainers can have shiny pokemon. I just wonder if it's true.

Yeah...In LeafGreen one of the CPU trainers in the Battle Tower had a shiny Espeon and I think a shiny Meowth

yup, same for firered, they had a shiny espeon in the battle tower. >,< i wanted it so badly crying i have one in my platinum now though :3

In emerald I found a shiny voltorb in the battle pyramid I couldn't catch.

Kranicc In emerald I found a shiny voltorb in the battle pyramid I couldn't catch. Does that count? yes it would count. I just haven't encounter any shiny in any game not counting the red garados in G/S.

Yeah, I saw a shiny goldeen with a computer trainer in the battle tower in Fire red. I really wanted a shiny.
