Zana sighed softly as she lad her head down on her front legs. There was really no reason for the white lioness to be sad, but she was. She was lonely, sure she had her family but they were off doing their own thing or hunting, which poor Zana utterly failed at.
Well Zana, there is no reason to sulk! She sighed pushing herself to her feet, and began to stretch out her muscles, careful to warm up each of her legs and her spine. If she had to be alone, well then she might as well practice her dancing. Thankfully for the musical lass, she would have her father's long legs and slender build, instead of her mother's shorter stockier build.
Humming softly to herself, the white and purple girl began to dance, her movements slow and steady as she rose up on her toes still warming up her body.

Ceyx was pretty much sure that he knew where he wanted to go. Or atleast he was pretty sure that he was. Okay he didn't know at all and he was just winging it. He kept up a light trot as he wandered away from his home lands for a bit. It wasn't some thing that he always had a chance to do, one thing that he knew for sure was that he wanted to learn about different things around this area, he wanted to know what it was like out of the pride, he knew that he had wandered around many times, but he didn't know how many others lived and he really wanted to.
In the pride that he came from knowledge was good it was great really and if anything and time he had a chance to learn he wanted to take care of it. He could also fight, he could fight good, however the only thing was that he didn't like to some times. He was so big and bulky he was afraid of hurting some one. So instead he tried to stay away from that and kept to himself.
He let out a small yawn as he wandered looking for something to do, some one new to meet, some one had to be around here some where.

Zana dropped down, as her ears perked hearing a faint yawn. Someone or something was coming, perhaps it was a new friend? At least she hoped it was someone friendly, but one could never be too careful. Gathering her legs under her, Zana jumped to the top of a large rock so that she could perhaps see who was coming before they had a chance to see her.
Cocking her head to the side, she studied the large male coming towards her. Well he wasn't -that- large but considering she was a rather willowy cub most seemed large to her. He didn't look mean, but looks could be deceiving, just look at her brothers and sisters. Beautiful to look at, cold and cruel inside.
Deciding that it was worth the risk, she jumped down onto the path before him. "Hello!" She smiled brightly, her lilac eyes bright as she cocked her head to the side. "I don't remeber seeing you around here before."

Ceyx was pretty caught up in his thoughts as he wandered around. He was trying to figure out why he couldn't have wings, as he watched a bird, it was a little odd to him. He wanted wings, why couldn't he have them? He sighed slightly before some one's voice caught his attention. He turned his head toward the sound and grinned widely at the voice, it was a lioness about the same age as himself. "Hi there!" He called back out before pausing his steps and looked at her with a grin on his face.
He looked around before shrugging slightly. "I am part of a pride not that far off." He chuckled slightly before nodding again then nodded again. "I really don't wander away from it much so instead I wandered out here today." He wiggled around a bit before nodding toward her once more. "You? what's your name?"

Zana tilted her head, "I didn't know there was a pride about. I am very sorry if I am trespassing on your lands, I can go?" She looked at him questioningly a soft little smile on her muzzle. She pranced a few steps closer to him so she didn't have to raise her voice quiet so much to be heard.
"I am Nkosanzana, but everyone calls me Zana. I live near here with my family, I can assure you we didn't mean to trespass." Her voice was soft and musical by nature, the tone soothing to his ears.

Ceyx looked at her with a grin before nodding his head. "Oh! Yes there is." He chuckled a bit before shaking his head. "Don't worry about trespassing it's a little far off, I'm wandering away from it, you're not wandering into it." He smiled then flicking his tail around a few times and letting out a small yawn.
"I like your name." He grinned before nodding, he liked to learn about different names, or alteast just learning about how they did it. "My name is Ceyx." He flashed another grin before shaking his head. "You're not trespassing."

Zana giggled softly as she sat down, curling her tail around her haunches as she looked up at him. "I like your name too Ceyx. " For some reason he reminded her off her father, perhaps it was his larger size or maybe it was his easy grin and easy nature. Whatever the reason the male put her at ease.
"Well I am glad to know I am not trespassing, to be taken prisoner," she teased wrinkling her nose at him with a soft laugh. He seemed like he might be a fun friend.

Ceyx looked at the lioness before giggling a bit. "I like my name too." He looked up at the sky for a moment watching the clouds go by. He loved watching the clouds. He looked at her and chuckled a bit. "No I don't think we take prisoners in our pride." He made a face at the thought he wasn't that sure before shaking his head. "Either way if we happened to do that you are safe because you aren't in the lands. He flopped back on his haunches this big body making his stance a little awkward but he shrugged it off, it was what he was used to.

Zana smiled brightly as she watched her new friend. He was big and strong, standing nearly a head over her. Normally that would have made her feel intimated, but he was so nice that instead of being nervous, he made her feel safe.
"Do you live there with your parents? I live around here with my mom and dad, well and my siblings, but they don't have much to do with me. I spend most of the time with my father. He is like me, musical."

Ceyx looked at her and nodded. "Yeah I do." He listened to her and laughed a bit. "I spend a lot of my time with my mom, she is a healer for my pride. I would spend more time with my father but he is the Cesear." He paused for a second, he was sure that there was a chance she didn't know what that was. "Errr... He is the leader of the pride." He chuckled slightly some before nodding. "I have a lot of siblings I spend my time with too."

"Wow! Your mom is a healer? My mom said healers are important people and to never ever harm one. " Adopting a strict look, Zana tried to copy her mother's tone, "Always be polite and listen to a healer for they know how to take you apart as well as put you together!"
Dissolving into giggles, Zana fell onto her side, smiling up at her new friend, " Does your mom make up a bunch of silly rules too? I bet your dad comes up with more rules since he is the leader."
She paused trying to imagine her dad as the leader of a whole clan but couldn't. Sure, like any little girl she thought her dad was the strongest guy in the whole world...but she couldn't imagine him not having enough time to want to spend with her and mommy.

Ceyx looked at the female and nodded. "Yep she's a healer. She's really nice if we have a owie she fixes it really fast!" He nodded again before shrugging. "I don't know if she could take some one apart." He made a face as he was thinking. He looked down at her paws then looked back at the lioness. He was really surprised at laughter that she was doing. He looked at her then laughed a bit. "She really doesn't come up with silly rules." He paused for a moment to think about the rules that he had. He really couldn't think of any off the top of his head. "I don't think that I have any silly ones. Like I said both of my parents are pretty busy." His voice trailed before he shrugged. "I really have no complaints.

"Well I am sure your mother is a wonderful healer." She rushed to reassure her new friend not wanting to seem rude when he obviously loved both his parents as much as she loved hers. She couldn't imagine having parents so busy that they wouldn't be there whenever she wanted to talk to them. It was kinda sad...
"Long as you are happy Ceyx that is what counts!" She nodded her head with a sweet smile."Do you have lots of siblings? I have a few, but they don't really like playing too much." Half the time her siblings didn't want anything to do with the happy go lucky juve.

Ceyx nodded slightly at him saying that her mother must have been a good mother. He sat back on his haunches and started to scratch behind his ear before pausing and looking up at the lioness. "I'm pretty happy." The truth was he wasn't that sure if he was happy or not. He felt like he was yet he still wasn't completely sure of himself. He shrugged. "I guess I do. I have 6... I think I don't play with them much."

"I am glad you are happy, I hate it when friends are sad." Her lavender eyes twinkled with amusement when he said he has six siblings, so her new friend had a large family too! "I think I have six siblings as well...but like you I don't play with them much."
Mostly that was because her siblings were kinda crazy and could be cruel...but that was family business.
