"She's a fallen angel, landing on earth by accident, but the fall had torn her wings into six, three sets of wings. He is a thief, and a sneaky one at that. What happens if he runs into her?"

Ayangelica

"Ah, Midnight in Atheras. Nothing better." Marcus liked to talk to himself as he "Worked" The city of Atheras was, for lack of a better word, amazing. Almost all of the Buildings, and shops were made of either white marble, or polished granite. Each house looked like small palace. Even homes in the "slums" were made of fine, polished wood. Needless to say, this was the richest city on the continent. It was Marcus' favorite place to steal from. He always made a great profit, but sadly for him, security here was tight enough, that he had to wait almost a year before his face would be forgotten, so he always stole big. He decided to case a jewelery shop filled with expensive gold, and silver, and gems. He was in, and out in a matter of minutes, and was now at his usual entrance, and exit to the city. He took about another minute to open the small water grate, and crawl under the wall, and out the other side. Then he was off, down the road to another large city to sell what he got.
Ayangelica deflected off a hit as she forced off another devil. She then spotted her target, the commander of the invading army. She soared over to him quickly as she launched and attack on on him. Their weapons started clashing together as she fought head on, avoid blows from the other enemies. She then quickly dodged another sword as she flipped over her target, turning around to stab the winning blow. Bad Idea. She had misjudged her target and messed up her timing due to the sword. She was now forced on the floor as she heard evil laughter above her. What happened next, was too painful and to quick to tell. All she was able to comprehend was two cuts, probably large, on both of her wings. Then wind rushing past her as she fell. She then heard faint yelling before she slipped into unconsciousness, "Ayan!!!"
Marcus walked along the road just staring up at the cloudy sky. He wanted to more closely examine his take, but knew he had to get futher away from the city first. As he walked, and stared at the sky he noticed a glint among the clouds. At first he mistook it for a shimmer of starlight escaping the cover of the clouds, But when he looked closer, he noticed it was below the clouds, and was in fact falling towards the surface. He began jogging to where he assumed the falling... thing would land, and knew it would hit before he got there. "That's fine" He said to himself. He didn't want to be there when it hit anyway.
Ayangelica crashed to the ground, the impact making her painfully wake up, 'Where am I?..' Her throbbing wings reminded her what had happened as she noticed blood dripping on the grass. She flapped her wings as gently as she could, blood spraying nearly everywhere. She allowed a minor healing spell take over, as her cuts healed but the larger ones, like the scab running down her left arm. Something felt out of place though, and she craned her head around as best as she could to look at her wings. What she saw was frightening: her wings had been torn, and had split into six, not to mention that it looked like a bloody mess. 'No, no, No! This can't be happening' She turned back around as she stabbed her sword into the ground. She had to twist her arm into an awkward angle in order to do so, since the sword was attached to her arm in the first place. She managed to get to her knees, but felt too tired, and torn, to even try to stand.
Marcus arrived in time to get sprayed with a few drops of blood as whatever was inside the small crater moved about. He took a tentative peek over the edge, and couldn't believe his eyes. What is an angel doing here? And I thought they were only supposed to have one set of wings... Why does this one have three? Gah... I should really just leave the thing. What good could come of this? Then again, not helping an angel could have worse repurcussions... Damn. He slid down into the hole, and touched the angel's shoulder, and said "Can you stand?"
Ayangelica flinched away from Marcus, as she stood up, or tried to. She fell on her back as she quickly sat back up, holding her arm with the sword attached to it as she backed away slowly. Seeing Marcus, and the fact that he was human, made her stop, and lower her weapon slightly. Her face was still smudged with some blood, but she didn't notice. 'Being spotted by a human, isn't much of a good thing. Scratch that, it's bad. I should just try to get away. You can't even stand, what's the use of trying to get away, your not even sure where to run to!' She sighed, bleakly and shook her head, "No..."
Marcus sighed, and shook his head "I should really just leave, right now..." He pinched the bridge of his nose, moved a bit closer to Ayangelica, and knealed in front of her. He sighed again, and said "Well, get on, and I'll at least get you away from here...
