Okay so our schools basketball/wrestleing pep band accepts ONLY brass and percussion ( no saxes nada) and my problem is I play clarinet/bassclarinet/flute/oboe
and thats it...whats a brass thats fast and easy to learn that I can learn y the time winter comes up.

Brass that's fast and easy to learn? Nada, if you're not equipped for it. But then again, it may come easy as pie. It depends on the person.

Try baritone. The partials aren't as close together, but it has more back pressure than a tuba and initially is easier on your chops.

yes i agree. i've playes tuba , trombone, baritone, and trumpet, and i have to say that baritone was easier.

okay after consulting my dad who was a trumpet in hs i decided to play trumpet. after a week i could play a chromatic scale decently.
but im not going for it this year next year thx ^^v
