Phiona blinked, looking up at the storm as it blew her hair into her face. It looked like good surfing weather. Well, not really, but the waves had to be awesome. She hummed to herself, trying not to listen to the scary winds. She was looking for the awesome guy she had met a while back that had saved her after a nasty wipe out.
What was his name again? Hulu? No Hula? Maybe.. But there was something else to it too.. She scratched her head, trying to think.. Joe? Roger? Bob? maybe that was it, Hula Bob? Fi would have to ask him again once she saw him.. But first to make it to the beach! She pulled her skirt tight, not wanting it to fly off in the wind and started moving forward again. The beach called to her, she could find it almost any day of the week. Usually. Today was proving to be harder than usual. Maybe it was just cause it was so stormy out right now.
It took her a good while to make it to the beach, but not long to find the tiki bar. She looked around, hoping he'd be here even in the nasty weather. The waves were looking awesome right now. Maybe he was already trying to ride them?

Hula Bob had finished boarding up the windows to his Tiki Bar and the apartment on top. He had just, or what felt like just, moved the bar because it slid into the lake and now there was a HUGE storm blowing in. This worried him. He didn't want his bar to be wrecked by the wind, rain or worse yet the waves he loved so much.
The demon hadn't boarded up the door and hadnt' planned on doing that. He wanted to make sure anyone that needed inside from the weather could get it. It was a place of business and a place for people to feel safe. At least that's what Hula Bob wanted.
Looking out the door he saw someone on the beach. It was Fi the girl that could surf without a board. What was she doing? He went outside to find out. "Aloha! Duedette!" He called and waved his arms. Hopefully she would see and hear through the wind and rain.

There was no mistaking that red demon even in this weather. Fi made her way over to him, pulling hair out of her face only to have the wind whip it right back where it was. "The waves are killer! Lets go surf~" She called, even though she was only a few feet away from him. She was really hoping he wouldn't say no. The faun was loving the waves, even more the sound they made when they broke.
Phiona grabbed Hula Bob's hand, attempting to drag him out, the waves were only getting bigger. If he was going to say try and be safe it was better to go now before they got bigger.

Hula Bob was a little shocked that the teen wanted to surf in this kind of weather. However, the demon looked to the water and saw the surf himself. He had always heard that the best curls were in a typhoon, so this was close. Of course he also heard that was a good way to be killed.
The girl began to pull him before he could say now. "Okay, only to watch out for you. It would be a bummer if you were hurt and I wasn't there to help." He nodded before grabbing a board to ride on. Unlike her he needed one to surf.
Hula Bob followed Fi to the water's edge. He couldn't believe his eyes. The water was fierce. He wasn't even sure if he could get out there without wiping out. Then again he did have wings and flight as an escape route.

She smiled, looking at him over her shoulder once ore twice as they made their way to the edge of the angry water. Her mouth dropped to form an 'o' as she was so shocked that they were so large. "Wow!" The faun was in awe.
She looked over at the other, grinning from ear to ear. Unlike him, she didn't have an escape route if the water tossed her off unusual board. "Lets goooo~" Fi giggled, still holding his hand as she made her way into the stormy sea. She at least was determined to see what these waves were like.

Hula Bob hated acting his age, but from time to time he felt it was necessary. "If you get in trouble dudette let me know." He wanted to make sure he could get to her if she needed him. Hula Bob was the adult and once in a while he had to act it.
The demon put his board on the water before climbing on. Once on he began to padded out. This wasn't easy to do. He was being pulled and pushed all over the water. Hula Bob was starting to regret this idea.

She nodded, hair whipping in her eyes as she climbed onto her invisible board. The female was paddling as best she could, having her own issues getting out to where she could ride the waves without worry of hitting her head or antlers on the ground.
Phiona groaned some, getting knocked back almost to the beginning with a single wave. She shook her head and started again, wishing she was as cool as Hula Bob and had wings.

Hula Bob watched himself as he got farther and farther out. Once he felt he was out far enough he sat up looking for a wave. There were many to be had. However, if he was going to risk his life he might as well try for the big one.
After some spotting he saw it. "Aloha Fi! Over there!" He pointed to a wave that was growing and about to swell into a big one that Hula Bob felt they could surf.

She blinked, looking over at the red demon. She did her best to make her way over to the wave that he had pointed out to her. Her grin grew to a smile as she saw it. It was an amazing wave.
It wasn't too long before she had gotten behind Hula Bob, letting him take the lead in the wave.

Hula Bob nodded as he saw Fi ride up behind him. With that he went into the curl himself. This was the bigest wave he had ever been in before. Which only made sense as he only just moved to the ocean and all the waved before were on a lake.
Bob stood up and was able to take hold of the curl. It was beautiful and wonderful. He had never felt so alive and happy. At least not in a long while. The demon watched out from the weather and hitting Fi.

Fi was rather good about not hitting the demon in front of her, or falling over into the wave. Falling here meant a good chance of not coming back up. The faun smirked, stretching some inside the curl of the wave.
She was having fun, it was easily the biggest wave she had ridden yet. Phiona wasn't going to say it was going to be the biggest one she would ever ride, that right there would be a blatant lie. There had to be bigger waves out in this storm alone that they could ride.

Hula Bob was doing rather well until the wind blew in and blew the wave over. The demon was hit with water and knocked from his board, but luckily he had it attached to his ankle and was able to pull himself back up. The demon hoped the girl was okay too.
He sat on his board feeling the cold of the water, the wind and the rain. He wasn't ready to go in yet. There were more waves and if they ended like that he was ready for them.

If Hula Bob was hit, she was hit just as hard. Phiona winced some as she hit the water, only to hold her breath and swim back up. She gasped for air, searching for her invisible board. There was none to be found and she stayed there floating looking around as best she could for the red demon.
It didn't take the faun long to pick him out amongst the gray waters. He was such a bright color it was impossible to miss him. She gasped being taken under by another wave. If she couldn't figure out how to work that invisible board she was gonna drown in this weather! This was turning out to be a bad idea.

Hula bob was able to spot the floating Faun head. He swam over to her and held out a hand. "You okay, dudette? Wasn't that AWESOME?" To him even the wipe out was fun. He had never had waves like these before. This was fun and highly exciting!
Hula Bob looked out looking for the next wave. He would go in if the Faun needed to but he secretly hoped that she didn't.
