So as some of you may remember one of my cherry barbs had babies well all but one died and so i moved it into a 5 galleon tank by itself and i have been raising it, after the colors matured i realixed it was a male and so i estimated in about two to three weeks he could be moved into my 40 galleon, however he passed away a few days ago. He over ate and his stomach exploded. I had recently changed his food to small baby shrimp, as i read it one a website about cherry barbs that many babies benifit from it, well maybe they do or not i am not one to decide. But i just wanted to post this to say I almost successfully bred my cherry barbs and i plan on trying it again so any tips for my next try?

Move all the babies into the fry tank as soon as possible, feed small meals often.
It helps to keep them in a barebottom tank so you can clean easier.
