Aden was doing what he shouldn't be doing if nothing else then the fact that it was a bit of a hypocritical. Being a doctor and smoking, it seemed a bit as though he shouldn't be allowed to do both of those things at once. He gavea bit of a shrug as he took a long drag off his cigarette, holding it in his mouth as he flipped through his current chart. Someone to see the Greed Demon, eh? That should be... interesting. There were a couple of techs that were coming along to make sure things went smoothly or so he was told.
He gave a nod of his head then closed it, "Hrm, guess we will see how things go." He murmured to himself, checking his watch. He would be glad when this was all over and he was able to go back to his normal job. Not that he was certain when that would be since he had taken over due to Almas taking ill again.
The dark haired doctor gave a grumble to himself. He needed to go check in on him again, make sure he was eating better and taking the vitamins he'd prescribed. He'd do that after the meeting was over.

Aludra didn't like this. He didn't like this one bit.
Sure, he'd enjoyed going to see Cestoloria; that had been an angel, no less that of humility, who'd help him understand why his brain was so constantly confused. However, now he was going to see Drake, a demon. The one who oversaw greed, the part of himself that he hated, blind to how his humility was what truly made it so seemingly sinful. The boy self-consciously tapped at the necklace that he was wearing, one that he'd only gotten that morning; it had 'mysteriously' appeared on his desk when he'd been out earlier in the day.
The only thing about it that he didn't like -aside from not knowing who it was from- was the fact that it perfectly personified the greedy portion of himself. Covered in little stones surrounding a clutch of eggs, it resembled a magpie or a crow's nest in its collection of shiny things. As such, when he arrived at the front of the Facility, he hid it beneath his wide-necked sweatshirt, pulling the leather jacket he'd been neglecting tighter around himself. He was looking much more as he once did, hair braided down his neck and dark green pants replacing dark blue jeans. Part of him honestly thought that he wouldn't be well recognized otherwise.
When he entered the gates, he allowed himself the leisure of staying outside, walking up to the first person who looked of any importance and glancing up at him rather critically. He blinked slowly, as though he was trying to drag this out as long as possible, before he finally spoke. "Is Aludra By'arre. He's here to see the greed demon."

"Aludra, my name is Aden and I will be standing in today for the normal person who sees to the meetings between you spawn and the lesser of the evils in this place." He said, dropping his cigarette to the ground before stomping it sound.
He made a motion with his hand, "If you will follow me we will go in and get this done as quickly as possible and if we are lucky with any incident, sound good?" He asked of the boy who looked a bit as though he really didn't even want to be here. Not that he could blame him, meeting a demon must be tough especially when you were part of the same sort of thing.

Aludra nodded awkwardly in response to the lengthy explanation of who the man was, being as polite as he'd been taught despite the fact that he could, honestly, not care any less than he did. He followed after the doctor willingly, wishing that someone had come with him, but trying to ignore that. Gently, he scratched at one of the half-healed scars on his cheek, feeling strange without the makeup that he'd sworn to Vincent that he wouldn't wear anymore. Really, it was the first time he'd been out without it.
"Sounds as good as could sound to him," Alu mumbled in third person in response to the question, hoping that he could leave as soon as was possible, preferably without losing anything that he was wearing, especially the sloppily-tied ribbon that held the pendant around his neck. Hell, especially the pendant. It was the prettiest thing he'd had since he threw his halo at Lironax... something which he continued to regret.

Aden gave a smile before he moved to lead the way. The Labs were as they always were, quiet, sterile, and white from the door to where they were heading. The feel in the air was different once they entered the area were the demons were kept though, it was distinctly darker and it felt heavier here. The doctor looked ahead to where the Lab Techs were standing, waiting for them. One of them had a small weapon on hand, a gun that had darts in it to tranq the demon were he to misbehave, the other had a cardboard box that she held out to Aludra ad he got close.
"You will want to take off anything valuable, shiny, or even somewhat interesting if your wanting to keep it." She suggested, Drake had a bad habit of stealing what he wanted up to and including things that were completely worthless to him such as pens. His room was a mess of trinkets and trophies taken from those foolish enough to come in with things he decided that he had to have right then!
The doctor gave a bit of a chuckle at the suggestion, "You will get them back once your done."
Within the room, behind a locked door one could hear Drake moving back and forth.

Aludra, as he had been doing, followed along quietly, though he stiffened, stopping momentarily, as they passed through the doors. His tail flicked to either side apprehensively and his tri-coloured gaze sharpened before he finally continued on, bristling at the generally uncomfortable feel of this terrible place. He pulled his jacket on tighter as well as pulling up his shoulders, as though somehow tightening himself into a walking ball was going to make it so that he was no longer in this scary Facility. But, of course, that didn't really work.
The weapon-in-hand of one of the techs had Aludra's eyes widening nervously, a tremour sliding down his spine simply upon seeing it. He'd never really been the sort to approve of weapons; especially in the hands of crazy, creepy scientists who likely saw him as little more than an experiment.
When the box was offered to him, Aludra let his gaze fall to the female technician with an expression that flat-out read 'you can not be serious'. There was no way in hell that he was giving anything to these people, especially not the pendant that had quickly come to replace his halo in importance. He well-knew that if he gave them the halo, they would keep it. Good that Lir had it, then... sort of.
Wrapping one hand around the pendant that remained under his shirt, he shook his head, pulling his jacket shut and buttoning it to the top. "Is not going to take any of 'Ludra's things. 'Ludra is NOT letting you touch his pendant or anything else," he growled back, despite the promise of getting them back. He didn't trust these people; he never had, and he wasn't about to start.

The woman's smile fell and she grittered her teeth, "Fine then. If whatever your wearing gets stolen see if we will help you get it back you little..."
"That is enough of that." Aden said, looking at the woman in a manner that said he clearly disapproved of her trying to threaten and insult a child, "Surely your more grown up then to pick fights with children? Feh, women."
He turned his attention to Aludra then, "Just be careful, Drake is... well... Drake." He said before he got out his key card so that he could open up the door for them to go inside. He looked over his shoulder at the Techs, "Attempt to do well at your jobs, please?"
Drake all but rushed the door when it opened, "Ah! At last!" He said, tail lashing behind him. It was about damn time he got one of these meeting! Everyone else got the damn things but him, what was wrong with meeting him?! Sheesh!

Aludra raised an eyebrow at the woman's antics in slight confusion before sticking his tongue out at her and shrugging a bit. "Can protect his own things," he replied simply, otherwise unaffected by the woman's baseless anger toward him. Geesh, she was acting like Adhara had when she was sick with baby... Part of him wanted to ask if the woman, herself, was pregnant, but he chose not to go with that impulse; he didn't want anymore interaction than was required.
Aludra scoffed at the 'feh, women' comment and smirked slightly, nodding his head and speaking quietly. "You're telling me..." he grumbled, mostly to himself, mind on who else but Lironax once again. If there was anything that he loved nothing more than to criticize at every chance he got...
He nodded readily, as though bracing himself for what was to come; he'd already anticipated the likelihood of this demon being relatively similar to him, except the humility portion, which he assumed would have pride taking it's place. After all, to believe you deserved everything you set your eyes on? There had to be some kind of pride in there. Aludra's tail flicked back and forth nervously as the door was opened, watching his demonic donor warily from just outside said door, not wanting to actually enter the room unless he was told to do so. "...hi."

Drake starred at the kid in front of him, inspecting him from head to toe, then his lips spread into a toothy grin. So, this was one of the little beasties that was created using him as a base? He wondered what his other side was, angel sure, what what sort? He couldn't care less really as he took another step forward which put both Techs on edge though Aden just observed, first time he was as close to Drake as this and he couldn't help but to admire him a little. He was an interesting looking one, wasn't he?
He moved quicker then people expected, catching hold of Aludra by his wrist and drug him over, "My little spawn." He said, pulling him close before setting to inspecting him more closely. He was made with his blood which made him his, yes? Yes, this one was his, belonged to him as any child belonged to a parent... not that it was often demons kept children but he hadn't so much started a demon as much as he'd descended into demon hood due to the sin of Greed devouring him whole.
He sniffed at Aludra for a moment before his eyes seemed to grow even more delighted, "Mmm, I smell gems... real gems..." He murmured, head burying against the small spawn to sniff at him more deeply, trying to scent out the hidden treasure that was rich enough it nearly had him drooling. Oh but 'his' spawn had brought something most interesting in with him, hadn't it.
The Techs were in a bit of a panic, the one with the weapon lifted it up only to have it snatched away and found a swift and sharp jab connecting with his midsection which dropped him, "As a Doctor I advise against weapons at this moment. If you startle him he might hurt our little friend there, you do realize this won't drop him nearly fast enough and his claws might dig in instinctively, idiot?"
Aden rolled his eyes, "Surrounded by a gathering of fools..."

Aludra merely stiffened when the demon came into a closer proximity, appraising him with a look that neared disdain; odd, coming from the child who was slowly being consumed by his own humility. It wasn't as though he could help it by this point. Aludra had been an avid church-goer since he could find his way there and back home, and as such, he began regarding his own sin as well as the others with a heavyset level of unbased hatred. And, humility attributing, greed -in his own mind- was of the worst of the sins. Lust, of course, tailed closely behind.
As he was grabbed, Aludra started awkwardly, trying to pull himself back only a moment too late. A growl rose in his throat and he thrashed awkwardly, trying to get away from the obnoxiously touchy-feely demon; affection and physical proximity to something important was something that Aludra could both understand and agree with. Someone that was living and breathing and worth much less than shiny treasures, however, had no reason to be touched, especially so... affectionately. Drake was actually Greed, was he not? Not lust or some other thing that made people want to be too close.
"Is not your's, Drake. Why would want, anyway? What is possibly desirable about Aludra?" he asked in confusion, trying to make sure that there were at least a couple of inches between himself and his biological parent. But, as with most things, we can't let Aludra have things go his way. Instead, he was pulled close once again, this time with Drake's face pressed against him.
This time, however, Aludra let loose a snarl, yanking himself backward as well as his lithe body would allow despite the fact that he was likely unable to get away, tail thrashing away against the ground behind him. This thing could smell the jewels in that pendant? Oh, Lord, when he found out who'd given him this he'd- he'd-
Thank them, probably, but he was at least attempting to be threatening at the moment. "Is not your's!" he growled, the sudden low octave of his voice surprising even himself, though he didn't show it as his tri-coloured eyes sharpened, deep red bleeding into the bright green that he'd inherited from the father that he already greatly preferred. "Would love to get one for you sometime, but this one belongs to him."
He was, as usual, referring to himself.

Drake continued to sniff at Aludra, trying to figure out exactly where the scent was coming from, the scent of jewels nearing having the dragon like being drooling as he found where it was located. He laid a clawed hand over the item and his fingers curled as though he were preparing to steal the item... then he paused, "Wait... get me one, hrm?" There was a temptation he thought to himself. It was a tough choice for one with his mind though, to take what he wanted right away or get a possible gift later.
Aden cleared his throat, "How about we talk nicely Drake, Aludra. He is here to visit with you remember?" He reminded the Greed Demon.
Drake starred down at the boy who he'd been attempting to smother and steal from before he gave a chuckle, flapping one large wing before giving a bit of a nod, "Heh, yes... was supposed to questions." He murmured, amused as hell. He'd forgotten all about then when faced with something fun.

Aludra continued to lash his tail back and forth, still holding the jeweled charm and the piece of cloth that hid it from Drake's sight, well-knowing that to allow it to be revealed would likely mean it was the last time he saw it. And, honestly, he wouldn't mind coming to see the other if it were to just give him a necklace, especially if it meant that he would be allowed to keep the one that he so cherished, as it had an emotional value that he didn't even understand. "He promises," Aludra stated simply, referring to the promise of bringing Drake a pendant as well, as long as he kept his own.
When the tech commented about the way they were talking, Aludra's tri-coloured eyes shifted to glare at him just slightly before looking at Drake critically once again, pulling himself away at least slightly. The small feathered wing on the olive-boy's ankle fluttered in response to the flapping of the larger, leathery wing and he watched Drake a moment, trying to think up any questions to ask him. In reality, he would love nothing more than to arrive, see Drake, and leave. Rolling his shoulders, he hid his hands in his pockets and watched the other.
"...what happened to your other wing?"

This boy was half angel, did that mean that he had to honor his promises? He gave a thoughtful sort of sound in his throat as he considered the question. It might be that way he decided before giving up on stealing the item for the moment though only because he wanted to see what could be brought to him. If it weren't as high of quality he would just take the one that Aludra brought to him as well as the one that he wore as well, "Alright, we will see then, boy."
Drake slowly turned to look at his single wing for a long moment before giving a chuckle, "Well you see, dragon bone, flesh, blood, it is all worth a lot to mages. It makes for good components in magic." He explained to Aludra, "So I traded it off to one of them for a rather large addition to my horde." The demon gave a sigh that sounded almost wistful and for a moment he seemed to be drifting mentally, thinking on his horde. It was still tucked away safely where he'd left it and his hands itched to return to it, to lay on it, to enjoy all of his riches he'd gathered over the ages.

Aludra nodded in hearing the story, tail flicking back and forth. He regretted admitting, even to himself, that he understood the story from a sympathetic standpoint. The wing on his ankle fluttered sadly, making him believe the movement was because he could have at least gotten something for the loss of the other one. Which... no, that was a stupid thing to think! He bit at his lip harshly, shoving any other stupid greedy feelings as far down as he possibly could and swallowing thickly.
"Is sorry," Aludra replied. "That they took you away from it." He nodded firmly. Then again, it seemed that Drake was taking it rather well. Aludra... would have not taken it well at all. Surely, despite the fact that his horde was... not that impressive, and made mostly of things that weren't worth a whole lot, but he would be... violent, for sure. After all, he tended toward that when people even touched his things, let alone took him away from that.
"Would drive him insane to be away from his things," he stated sympathetically, wrapping his tail around one of his legs and leaning against the nearest wall, tired of standing. He looked around the room curiously, tipping his head a bit. "...what exactly do you do in here? Why can't they just... take blood and let you leave?"

Drake gave a nod of his head, giving a huffing sound, "Yes, they did take me from it... I miss it, so many rare and wonderful treasures there." He murmured, sighing. His hands made an unconscious grasping motion as he thought about the treasure before shaking his head to free himself from the thought.
"I will return there." He muttered to himself then looked over at Aludra and smiled a bit, "I would leave this place if I could, I'd give them my other wing if I thought it would get me out of here. They aren't so nice though, they want us here." He was most certain it was some sort of power thing, to show that they could keep demons and angels alike enslaved like animals. He wouldn't bother the child's mind with such theories though, he might be a greedy b*****d but he wasn't as cold as that.
