Ratana swirled the yabbara in her glass as she studied the tangled web in front of her. If she was reading it correctly, then she would be meeting someone very soon. Or... SOMEONE would be meeting someone very soon. She sighed heavily and took a sip. It had been a long time since she left her caves, and she doubted anyone would wander down there...

And wander Aleos did. He was like the wind, wen t where it went, always looking for his anchor. The only thin g that could keep him in one pace was an anchor. And that anchor? Interest. If he was interested, he would stay, when he got bored it was gone from his mind and he wandered again. The scent of blood caught his nose. That was nothing new, but it smelled... odd. And that was interesting. Following the scent of the yabrah, he wandered to the black widow's cave.

She set her glass down and reached out to take down the web, carefully. She preserved her webs, whether or not they actually amounted to anything. In the past, she had done it so that other black widows could give it a go.

He poked his head into the cave, trying to figure out what smelled so interesting.

Just as he poked his head in, she was on her way out, to place the web in the cavern where she kept them stored. For a moment, she froze and just stared at him.

She took half a step back and looked to either side, as though looking for who he was talking to. "H...hello."

"What are those... enchanting aromas...?" he asked. Yeah, no lead up, no politeness, no social niceties.
