Eiriol: *because he is without cards, is trying some new close up magic stuff with a blueberry*
Jir ran through the area, letting his tail flap behind him. He looked over and saw the white namir holding the blueberry in a funny position and didn't realize he had turned when he had looked. Not watching where he was going, ran straight into a tree.
Eiriol: *finishes his trick and looks out at his non-existent audience, only to see Jirar after running into the tree* Ow... *cautiously walks over* Are you alright?
Jir's ear twitched as his face was still smashed up against the tree. He pulled back only to look at Eiriol with crossed eyes. Shacking his head for a moment cleared that problem though. He smiled widely "I think so." He looked at him "Hey, what happened to that thing you were holding?"
Eiriol: *smiles, glad to know the namir was okay* Good *pauses and looks at Jirar* Thing? Oh! *does a little wave of his hands, the berry dropping to the ground* Oops...
Jir watched as the berry poped out of no where. "WHOA!" And rushed to pick it up. "Howed you do that?"
Eiriol: *scratches the back of his head* Actually, that was a mess up...I'm still working on that trick. *smiles* I'm trying to be a close up magician. I'm better with cards, but my last deck got...eaten?
Jir smiled and plopped his but down. "Whats magic? if it makes things pop out ofyou randomly, I dont know if I like it =o. Certain areas some things shouldnot pop out of >3>" Then giggled to himself before gasping. "Who ate them? Did they taste....entertaining O3o;;?
Eiriol: Magic? *thinks* Magic is doing things that appear to be unexplainable. Making things disappear, reading peoples minds, things like that! *sighs* Some little green guy. I dropped my cards all over during a trick and he ate them...and they're just paper, so they couldn't have been that great.
Jirair's jaw drapped. "That sounds amazing" He then sqweezed his eyes tight and smiled "What am I thinking of right now!???"
Eiriol: *laughs, quite amused* No, no. It's not that simple...I can't really read minds. You'd write down a word, or pick a card without telling or showing me. Then you'd do something with the card and I would guess what the card was, or have the word show up on a chalk board without me writing it or something.
Jir opened one eye, then the other. "oh...." He smiled "That still sounds pretty cool. Could you teach me a trick =D? Or are they massively hard =o?"
Eiriol: Some of them are hard. But I think I have an easy one you could try! *show him the trick first* Hold the berry like this, grab it with the other hand *moves his hands around, the berry seemingly in the left paw* Then say a magic word *looks at his paw* Vanishus! *opens his left paw to reveal nothing* See? Now you try, *hands Jirar the berry* Hold it in your right paw.
Jirair took it, holding his paw flat and looking at it like it was a golden ring worth millions of dollers. He licked his lips, then looked at Eir again "Okay...so...whats the first step again?"
Eiriol: okay, cup the paw holding the berry a little, then reach over that paw with your other paw
Jir did as Eiriol told him then looked up, smile as wide as his head as he felt like he was succeeding so far.
Eiriol: Okay, now ths is the important part, act like you're taking the berry with your top paw, but close your bottom paw around it instead.
Jir stared hard at his paws. After a slight pause, he tried to do as Eir described. He twisted his paw to try and make it seem like he had taken it, but only managed to tangle his claws together "Oh drat xp"
Eiriol: *smiles patiently* It's okay, try again. Sometimes it's hard to figure out
Jir stuck his tongue out as he concentrated. He untangled his paws and stared at them again. He finally moved his paws quickly to show the berry wasn't in the hand the viewer would think it would be "Yaaaay!!!!" Though through his excitement, he hadn't realized he had coincidently squished the berry.
