Virtues: High Alcohol Tolerance -- Gabe parties like a goddamn rockstar, and while this is also a con because he parties far, far too hard-- he can take a good bit of booze before it knocks him out.
Obnoxious -- With this comes his persistence. While he's a good for nothing punk that ends up in detention more times than not, and while he's sort of a failboat-- he doesn't give up. It translates into knowing the subjects in school pretty damn well, if only because he hates to fail. Whether or not anyone else knows that he's good at s**t and that he's smart is another matter-- he's got nothing to prove.
Bringing us to his next good point...
Devil May Care -- Gabe is crude, rude and probably will invite you to bed with a drink, but. He doesn't care what other people say about him, what other people do. He's not even quite a great punk, but that hasn't stopped him yet. He's going to do what he wants whether ANYONE likes it or not.
Charming -- ...Sort of. He's got the sort of charm in which you can't help but smile /at/ him more than you do /with/ him, but. It's easy to hang out with the redhead, and he's pretty good at getting shy people to open up-- because he used to be a bit of a wallflower himself.
Flaws: Obnoxious -- It can be more than just a little offputting to have a vivacious, loud redhead hanging off your shoulder demanding you drink a little more, go a little further-- it really can. While he's got plenty of party friends around town, and plenty of acquaintances in class, Gabriel doesn't really have any close friends, if any. It's why he's...
an Internet Junkie -- You betcha. When he's not out on the town or annoying his poor, poor roommate, he's hiding out on his computer, waiting in lurk for the Next Big Thing. Who the ******** needs /homework/ when you can dink around on websites for hours on end, seriously.
Hedonist -- A body's a body, and while Gabe exclusively prefers the boybits rather than the ladybits, he's at an all boy's school and intends to /live it up/. It applies to more than just his bedroom antics, though. If it makes him feel good, Gabe's up for anything. Splurging on food, video games, movies, or a good book...Or several good books. And a hot dog. And a-- ...you get the picture.

Gabriel's current weapon is ...a bottle. Made of glass, he thinks, but it just won't break. Right now, it's only good for clubbing people.

Fears
Gabe is far from a wonderful person. And, when his charms fail, Gabe deflates like a balloon, though he tries to maintain his devil may care attitude.
He bottles it up,bundles up the few shits he can give into a tiny ball until he crosses his threshhold and has a nuclear meltdown at some poor, random person who just didn't want to put up with his horsing around.
He's also afraid of large amounts of water-- showers and bathing and drinking is fine, but swimming? ******** no. RAINSTORMS? EVEN LOUDER ******** NO.
Not that he'd say anything, Gabe would just casually make up any and every excuse to go playing in the rain or to go out on a rainy day, gladly skipping classes and appointments if they forced him out into it.
In the end, he's afraid of turning into his parents, who both seem like rich, stuffy cardboard people. They much favor his elder sister, because unlike Gabriel, she has discretion in sharing her wild child habits.
It irks him that they share the same habits and party circuits, but she gets away with it due to some lying here and there. More than just some, really, and it's that sort of fake attitude that burns him up inside. Gabe can't deal with fake people, sunny dispositions with cold eyes behind them, or machismo in the face of insecurity: even if he DOES fall victim to his own pet peeves.
