The male especially...come on...
He issupposed to have proved himself and all...he looks like a new recruit...
I went from Quake 3 tournament's Sarge kind of guy (with blakc hair tho) to inspire my Male Shepard

i always make my shepard look young. I don't like how my one male shepard looks though.
i try to make all of my female shepards look unique, but they look like they could all be cousins or something. xD

well, the effects are better on the malke sheppard.
5'oclock beard...
A jaw that is a bit more squared.
a bit more of a marine like crew cut (side short a bit longer on top)
the 5 oclock beard, I tend to makes his eyes a bit smaller, the piercing kind of look...just more like a veteran...and he also looks much mroe realistic I must say...I'm gonna post in the topic bout the pics of our sheppard...

yeah, I didn't like any of the hairs for guys or girls. except for a couple of the slightly longer ones..

I always played the fem Shepard, dunno why.
I guess I just wanted to try something new by playing a girl to kick evil butt, 'cos half all the games I got are all guys as the heroes, like Halo, for example. But yeah, I like the male Shepard, he'd be the too-cute-to-kill type for me, especially for Mass Effect 2. LOL

Sucks it isn't like wrestling games and you can post your CAS" (create a shepard lol) formulas...
no numbers really...argh.
I borrow the raw vs smackdown from my friends just to create wrestlers. lol
(Got voted the best jeff hardy on the 2008 since he wasn,t on the roster...or wasit in 2007?) on gamefaqs and some other board...wish we could have a formula...

In all actuality Shepard does look the age he needs to be. Supposedly he was given a field promotion during and after the blitz.
i.e also for surviving the maw and his ruthless career opening.
However I do also tamper with mine as well. As well as adding scars for whatever battle he was in prior.
