The little blue leopard was finding that he was visiting the border more and more. Specially after he had a run in with two odd lions. He did not understand either of those run ins and was still baffled that those lions had no clue how important Atia was. Every one in Binadamu knew his mother and had respect for her. Those lions not having any sort of respect just did not calculate.
Not only did those lions not know atia, they thought he was playing. What a foolish thing to think that some one as important as him would be wasting his time playing. It was a laugh that was for sure.
Now Lucian was starting to put on some muscle on his lean body and he was getting taller, very clearly. The blue leopard would never be a gladiator but he wasn't as skinny as he was. The blue cub was proud of this.
And now he wanted to teach those rogues a lesson for not understanding him. Ooooh they were gonna get it.
Okay, he wasn't that dumb. Those lions could probably eat him if they got into a fight. But still, he was proud of his new size and he was proud of his pride. A small part of him was still afraid to step into the unknown that was the rogue lands though. So the blue leopard sat on the boarder and just gazed on ward looking like he was deep in thought.

 Risasi, tired of his training for today, decided to go and take a walk around the borders of the lands. And why not? They were his lands, too, after all, and he liked visiting as much of it as he could. Besides, he was getting more and more confident. More and more skilled. He didn't have to train relentlessly any more. Of course, that didn't mean he could slack off. He had to make a schedule, and stick to it.
And he did. Right now, in his schedule, was 'walk around the pride' time.
He soon spotted a familiar form. Familiar, but changed. The cubs were getting bigger, it seemed, and Risasi smiled at that. He moved closer, padding up to Lucian loudly enough for the cub to hear him coming.
"Hello!" he called, picking up his pace and slowing right next to the cub.
He noted the pensive expression and cast a glance over the rogue lands. Those were the lands outside of their home, and thus little interest to Risasi these days. Still familiar, since he had lived there so long, but now he had a home to think about. He tilted his head at Lucian.
"What are you looking at? Or for?"

Lucian turned to watch a bigger leopon approach him. The last time the leopard cub had seen the gladiator was when Risasi's mane wasn't fully grown in. Now it seemed he had a full head of mane and was bigger. The leopard smiled and stood.
"I'm just wondering what type of unruly lands the rogue lands are. The seem so big," The leopard stared out wards. The memory of the two lions he had met at the border still haunted him. The first had been a complete idiot and the second had been rude.
"Why don't the animals of the rogue lands know Atia." The leopards tone was flat and matter of fact more then it was a question.

Risasi was much bigger, in fact, then the last time they had seen each other. He was a big beast, built of hard, toned muscles under his soft blue fur. But he was still as sweet as ever, and he smiled at Lucianus as he moved closer. He listened to the cub's concerns, tilting his head. What an odd thing for one so young to be thinking about.
Though, he could hardly be surprised, considering who he was talking to.
"Of course the rogue lands are unruly," he commented, taking a seat near by. He looked out over the rogue lands, sighing thoughtfully. "Considering no one rules it. They are pretty big. I traveled through them for a long time, coming here. It almost seems like there is no end to them."
He shrugged his big shoulders.
"It's not really uncommon for rogue lions to not know of pride affairs. As important as Atia is to us, her reach and reputation don't stretch far from our lands."

Lucian looked up at Risasi with a bland expression. Atia's reach didn't go far from their pride? That was almost to hard to believe for the juve. Just the fact that such a giant in his life could be small some where else. He lowered his head.
"We can make the rogue landers understand our ways.." He frowned , "No leader? No one to listen to? Thats just something that needs to be stopped. Come on Risasi me and you are going to go out there and stop this none sense."
Really, coming from a juve his size it was almost humorous. Lucian had determination but the lack in his size just ruined the effect. There was no way Lucian was going to be able to force their pride on rogue landers.

Risasi blinked.
He didn't have much time to think about what the little boy was saying, though, before he realized Lucian was not joking. Of course he wasn't. He was one of Atia's kids: they didn't really know how to joke, did they?
Shaking his head, he moved to stand.
"Well, I don't think that's..." he stopped himself. Why not go have a little fun in the rogue lands? Maybe he could teach Lucian a few things about the place Risasi had so long called home. It would do the little leopard good, he thought, to get some experience in a world beyond the one Atia had built for him.
At least, that's what Risasi thought.
"Okay. Let's go see what we can do, huh?"

Lucian's face melted into pure shock. He could hardly believe the gladiator was going along with his silly wishes. Quickly his face built it self back up to the blank, arrogant, mask he usually wore.
"Yes, yes lets go then," He felt a smile creep on his maw. This was just so exciting, he had spent a lot of time looking out now he was going in the very place that had so many unanswered questions.
The fact that there were no leaders and really no civil people worried him some. What were the two going to find? The juve could hardly wait as he literally pranced toward the open area that was the rogue land. The cub looked back at Risasi as soon as he crossed the boarder and frowned.
"Come on, lets go lets get this over with . " It sounded grumpy but the cub was really excited.

Risasi didn't miss the drop in Lucian's mask, grinning slightly but doing a better job of hiding it than the cub had his own reaction. He nodded, then let the cub walk on for a few paces before heading to catch up. It was good to see him so excited.
Passing over the border, though it was an invisible line, made Risasi feel strange. He had pledged his life to this new home, so to walk out back into the untamed place he used to call his home was strange. It had never been much of one. Just some place he was passing through.
Constantly.
He looked at Lucian, laughing a bit.
"We'll just take a look around and see if anyone is up to anything. I don't think we'll find anything too out of the ordinary."

It didn't matter if they never found anything. The second that Lucian had put his first paw down in rogue land territory he felt like he was in alien territory. Everything was new. This was a world that didn't know their ways, this was a world Atia held no power. It frightened him but at the same time excited him and even irritated him. The feelings meshed in and around him as he looked about.
He was like a baby learning the world for the first time.
"woooooooow.." He whispered. Lucian's eyes widened as he padded about taking in the sights he had always seen and alway known but from further away.
"This place...." His voice was hushed.

Risasi watched as the young cub looked around these new lands. They weren't too far from the pride lands, of course, but it was far enough to be unfamiliar. Probably a place he hadn't thought he might actually visit. Like Risasi in his youth, thinking of places he had heard about, but could never visit.
Though, Lucian really wasn't like Risasi when he was a cub. Still, he felt connected to him.
Risasi stayed close to Lucian as he looked around, thinking the leopard might be a little overwhelmed at first. He smiled when he heard the cub reacting to everything he was taking in.
"It's pretty cool, huh? There's a lot to see and learn out here. You could never really take it all in. It's too big, and there's too much. But it's certainly fun to explore."

Lucian had never felt so small in all his life. Everything was the same but new and not under the control of the pride. What was this?
"Its..." He looked up at Risasi and tried to look serious but instead gulped. He wasn't sure what he thought of this new land. "Its confusing," He said at last. Really, how dare this place be so confusing and interesting. Hmph.
Those lions he had met when he was younger were no where to be found. Not even a scent, just the staleness of other animal scents who he did not know, or care to know. This was the place of strangers.
"How can such a place exist.. " He finially said, "With no law or reason. No structure..... "
The bigger question was why he felt so different out here. What was this small feeling? Lucianus was not small, he was Atias son and one day he'd work his way up to be a respected and feared name just like mother.
But here he was and he was nothing. Small. A speck.

"Not everything needs to be ruled over or controlled," Risasi reasoned, tilting his head to one side, "these lands are so big, it is impossible for any one pride, or any number of prides, to own all the lands. Even if they are as mighty as our home. Of course, that doesn't mean some lions don't do their best."
He chuckled at that, shaking his big head. He put his big paw on the leopard's head, ruffling his tuft of fur but being careful not to squish anything. It was, after all, a very big paw.
"I wouldn't worry about it too much. You should focus on our home, our jobs, and your duties before you start worrying about anything out here."
Sighing, he looked around, just enjoying the walk and the view.
"You doing okay? Want to go back? You look a bit overwhelmed. Atia might be mad at me if I take you back speechless."
