I didn't see a topic on this fun game variant so here's one right now. Who played it? What kind of team did you use? What kind of team would you use now? The newest version of the rules can be found here!

Lady Blodwynn I didn't see a topic on this fun game variant so here's one right now. Who played it? What kind of team did you use? What kind of team would you use now? I've played it a few times with Marine scouts =o It's pretty fun, thought the Kill Team is usually going to dominate the game it seems.

I have played both sides with the Tau and really like it. Goons side is harder, unless of course the Kill team is really unlucky, lol. I use a small fire warrior squad with some nice mods to personify each model. I have a dual wielding leader, heavy weapons expert, demoltions expert, assassintion expert, a set of twins that are my com experts, and a sniper. I still havent finished painting them yet, but they are really fun. Anyone who plays tau, i highly recommend using parts off of WizKids MechWarrior Dark Age mechs for kit bashes. They combine really well.

I'm going to have to build a team of these hard cases one day, or at least until I can get my hands on my 4th edition book again, for the coming days I'll be unable to do anything. crying

I think the limit for Kill Teams were 130pts. Any extra you use goes to the goons point bank.

i have nothing in my in-box yet. i'm wondering why they did not carry some of the scenarios over to the new edition, such as kill team.

She was giving it to Brookman, he was asking for one part of the rules, which is generally acceptable. However, you're asking for the full rules of the scenario, which, while in an older edition, is breaking copyright. We're good guildies and respect the law, most of the time. mrgreen
As for why it's not in fifth... I have no idea. I actually have a Campaign made where Kill Team missions are extremely helpful to play. I was sad when they were not in fifth... :c

Gentlemen, I have the 4th edition rulebook in my possession, just not at my disposal right now due to some restructuring of my room. I've done plenty for Blodwynn in the past so it's only fair that she returns the favour every once in a while.
