Home to trickery, yellowed lace, fangs to pierce and shards of the darkest glass.
Hidden away in the forest of the Reserve you find a rickety old shack painted in peeling red paint. The windows, illuminated by candle light, are frosted with a thick layer of yellow dust. A crooked sign above the door reads "Black Jack's Parlor". Inside a collection of wooden tables covered in worn green fabric fill the room. At the far end stands a bar lined with stools of varying heights.
Unfortunately the owner doesn't seem to be around. On one of the nearby tables you find a note scrawled messily on a yellowed sheet of paper.
Welcome friend. Well done, it's true, my parlor you have found.
Though by now you've had a look and seen I'm not around.
This time of year, I find, is best for outdoor trickery.
So if you'd like to play my game, the main thread's where I'll be.
Well that's unfortunate. It doesn't seem like Jack is going to be coming back any time soon. The old trickster's out haunting the Reserve, searching for lucky (or maybe unlucky) otters to play his game.
Black Jack will pop up at random when you least expect it in Otter Oasis' main thread. He could show up at absolutely any time and there's no telling how often he'll appear. It could be on a busy evening amongst lots of chatter or in the middle of the day when absolutely no one's around. Who knows what he has planned, but I'd keep my eyes peeled if I were you. Even if you're uninterested in playing his game, honestly you don't want that guy sneaking up on you. He's not quite right in the head.
