Mikhail was not having a very good day. Not only had he had to attend a party, it had, of course, gone horribly wrong. He'd ended up in the pool, which was a bad place to be when you didn't know how to swim. Fortunately, however, Sei had fished him out before any damage had been done. After coming to, he'd shooed off his concerned guardian (not without an 'I told you so!,' though) and opted not to go home right away.

After finding his knife, he'd decided to surrender his lost bandana to the pool. It was definitely not worth going anywhere near the water for. The pool could have it, and he'd just get another one later. He had, however, made off with a towel...not that it was incredibly helpful, considering his clothes were soaked. It helped a little when he pulled off his shirt, but that was definitely all that was coming off.

Just about everything was still dripping when they got to the HQ.

Sei, likewise, was still dripping, and the effects of all his power shifting in order to get the redhead out of the pool as quickly as possible (as well as the caved in pavement that had followed) was starting to make itself known. He was quite a bit more sluggish than usual, and he had pulled up his gloves in order to hide the lacerations that revealed metal underneath.

Zero was going to have to mend him again and she would not be happy. And that was saying nothing of Raven - he was supposed to have came back to her house hours ago.

He still wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to tell her.

At least, he did not have to carry Mik anymore. Not that he'd minded too much, but the unhinged balance and overall lower energy would have easily have it end in faceplant.

He had not taken off his tanktop, but the shape of the gem underneath was clearly visible as the clothing clung to him.

He pushed the door open as he got there, looking like a mix in between a wet cat and someone who had been awakes for days.

Seung plodded into the HQ's front room from the upstairs. Apparently Oma had decided to do another remodel of their home while most of her "siblings" were away at boarding school. Rather than be stuck in a hotel room with her Guardian, Arilin, Tentei and Mehiyal, the mothfish opted to take a bedroom at the HQ for the duration.

The upside was a nice amount of privacy she rarely got at home. The downside was cooking for herself. Something about the "art" of cooking just eluded the Fa'e. She hoped she could scrounge up something for a snack; the mothfish didn't really want to repeat something the scrambled egg disaster.

As she tried to remember what was in the pantry, Seung spotted Sei and Mik coming in, both looking wet and bedraggled. "Aigu! What happened to you two?" she exclaimed, heading over to the pair.

Mik didn't mind at all that Sei was moving slowly, as he wasn't exactly feeling energetic...and besides that, the teen had just saved his life. He was not about to complain. Really, all he wanted to do was sit down and wait for his mind to catch up with everything that had happened. He'd never almost died before, and that was the most mundane thing that had happened.

Of course, of all the times he came to the HQ, this would be one of them when Seung was here. It was...a little embarrassing, really. Sweeping stubborn wet hair away from his face, he answered the mothfish while he took a seat on the floor, "Birthday party."

"Sounds about accurate." Sei said, and went in direction of the kitchen. No ammount of laying down would help him much, but anything sugary would help, if his experiences held true.

"Doesn't look like it was a very good one..." Seung remarked, looking back and forth between the pair in bewilderment. She rushed back upstairs and returned with a pair of bath towels. Setting one aside for Sei, she handed the other to Mik. "You're not hurt again, are you?" she asked, kneeling next to the older Fa'e.

"It wasn't," he confirmed before Seung disappeared briefly. Next thing the tired Fa'e knew, she was back and he had a new towel. He blinked at it with eyes red from chlorine for a moment before accepting it, drooping his wings so he could drape it over his shoulders. Now that he was inside, he was a little cold. "Thanks."

At her next question, Mik looked towards the kitchen where Sei had gone. "No," he said, "Thanks to Sei."

There was the sound of rummaging in the kitchen, of glass colliding with other glass in a faint tink sound, and Sei soon re-emerged, and noticed the towel handed toward him.

"Thank you." He said, still trying to calm himself a bit. It was not often that he became as angry and emotional as he was now, and... he still had some problems controlling it. The last thing he wanted to do was accidentally unload it on Seung.

He took the offered towel and started drying his hairs with it, taking a sip of his drink with the other hand.

Seung sighed in relief. "Welll that's good at least." The last time she'd seen Mik, he'd had broken ribs. She really never wanted to see him in that sort of condition again. "Seems like you have a knack for saving people," she said, nodding to Sei as he came back in.

"Do either of you um...need anything?" she offered hesitantly, wings fluttering. They both looked rather worn out and not capable of much at the moment.

Technically, he did still have broken ribs, but they were well on their way to being healed - and it was about time, too. Not that he was thinking about that, at the moment. He was still in a bit of shock. He did feel better, though, now that he was somewhere safe, and just a little more dry and warm. He twitched his wings to help them shed some more water; they always took forever to dry.

"I, um...not really." He could use some dry clothes, but that wasn't going to happen until he actually went home. For now, he huddled in his new towel.

"Honestly thinking about calling a pizza." The blonde made a face. This was the downside of abusing his body like this - now he would likely have eaten an elephant if he had the chance. It would probably make no sense to his companions, but that was all fine. "Odd as it'll sound like."

He continued to dry himself off, moreso to not drag water all over the HQ than himself being uncomfortable, finishing his soda in one glump and throwing it straight across the room in the recycle bin.

"How about a blow dryer?" the teen suggested. Having wet wings could not be comfortable, even more so when the wings were covered in feathers.

"Pizza?" Seung's ears twitched up at that. Anything was better than eating her own cooking again or hoping to find something that resembled a meal in the pantry. "I was about to look for some food anyway, I can order some for us."

A...a blow dryer? That had never occurred to Mikhail before (quite possibly in part because neither he nor Stefan owned one), but really...it was brilliant! If there happened to, you know, be one around here somewhere. Suddenly enlightened, he replied, "That's a good idea."

Now he just had to get up and look for one, although he was sort of comfortable on the floor...even if he was sitting in a puddle, more or less. Maybe in a few minutes.

"Sounds good." He put on hand in his pocket, and then it finally occured to him.

Cellphone + water = ...

The blonde said nothing, but his expression as he pulled the dripping device out of his pocket spoke volume. "...Sorry, can't lend you my phone." He sighed and - at last - looked more resigned than pissed off. "Ill let you do that... Ill go look for a blow dryer."

It seemed the most logical choice. He was not the one with aching limbs, and Seung would likely want to remain with Mik. The two seemed... rather close.

He draped the towel over his shoulder and headed upstairs, not really caring anymore that he was likely dripping water everywhere. He hadn't even thought about specifying a kind of pizza - at it was right now, he'd likely eat plastic if it meant he would not be fizzled out in a corner in short order.

"That's alright, I have my own." Seung pulled her cell out of her pocket and started scrolling through the contacts. "Try in the bathrooms," she suggested helpfully.

"So what happened?" she asked Mik as Sei left, looking up from her phone. "You two look like you got hit with a fire hose."
