Noctis walked along the area, his eyes slitting. He was bored. Bored out of his mind. So far, there hadn't been anything that amused him. He swore, he would die from boredom if he didnt find something soon. Or someone. A pang of restlessness hit him, his hand clutching at his chest. Surely, a little taste of boredom wasn't enough of a trigger to go on a rampage.

A phyri stood in front of him, eyes caught by her dark features against the moonlit lake. A sad damsel in distress. just the kind he loved to toy with. At least, for a little while. "A girl on a lonely night. Now if I could just score.." he said to himself, grinning widely. Noctis used and threw away girls like tissue, earning himself a few enemies along the way.

"The day I'll be afraid is the day I'll die." Noctis hung back, somewhat in the moonlight now but refusing to sit down, shaking his head in refusal. "Sitting wont be the only thing I'll be doing if I'm in close proximity. So what's a damsel like you doing in the middle of the night? Am I intruding?" He inquired politely, with a hint of arrogance in his tone. He didn't really care for the answer but he figured he might as well ask.

"Egging me on and attempting to get me to flirt to only be responded with rejection, I would label that as manipulation, little phyri." He stated, looking over at the black phyri in the moonlight.

He almost burst into laughter at her obvious wink, chuckling as he said his next sentence. "Easy or not doesn't make a difference. Us playboys only enjoy those kind of girls if they're a little more experienced than yourself. I'll have you know, we dont prey on innocents like you. Innocents are the most complicated to get mixed up with and frankly, I don't want to bother with the complicated stuff." Noctis said, his honesty was a little on the brutal side. But honestly, he couldnt see himself paired off with an innocent.

"So, little phyri, may I inquire, as a gentleman of course, what are you doing out here without a companion?"

"Anything that blushes more than twice is an innocent in my book. I judge how I want." He stated, her story running through his ears. He had heard countless sad stories in his life, his indifference caused him to murmur in an uncommitted manner. "Alone.. Well, most people are alone from the start. They just think they have friends. But in reality, friends dont really matter." His cynical words were only to gained from his harsh experiences in life as a war veteran.

"Yeah, well, I'm not surrounded by girls 24/7. If that's what you're thinking." He said in a dry manner, eyes raising as a scarlet tone overtook her black features. He lifted his eyebrows as if to further emphasize the fact, his impression of Munnin was that she was an innocent. Rolling over on his side to close his eyes, as if to take a nap. The grass was cool and comfortable, the cold breeze felt good against his heated skin, covered by massive amount of belts. "You know.. it's a lot cleaner here than where the humans live. But boring too." He commented, inhaling the soft scent of grass. He may just fall asleep where he laid soon, his tired muscles relaxing in the midnight air.

Family wasn't reliable all right. Since when were they? "Nope. Family are unnecessary attachments. With less to lose, the better the risk." Noctis stated, pulling a gun out to hold it against the night sky. It shined as the light of the lake bounced off the metal, twirling it within his fingers.

"My guns are the only thing I need. They'll never betray me." He stared at his guns with self-satisfaction and love, the gun's value to him was far more than any other person. Noctis could use any guns he wanted but he liked these best. Not that he would pass on the chance to try out other guns though. His thumb ran over the smooth edge of the gun, his own reflection staring back at him from the shiny silver.

"A lamb who tasted blood became a wolf. Then he left his herd to life as a free wolf." He voiced softly, the metaphor referring to himself. He didn't regret leaving his family. He never would. Life was about enjoying the moment, after all.
