Okay, any girls here who've had the shot?
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get it. Unless I chicken out
I've only heard horror stories about it
Anyone here ever had it? Any symptoms?

I gained a lot of weight while on it and it took 6 or 7 months after the shot "wore off" for me to actually have my period again. I'd check out web MD and look it up, women usually post reviews on all of the birth controls. That's how I found out I wasn't the only one that had major problems with Yaz.

My mom had it once. They didn't let me in the room. When she was done she didn't want to talk. I didn't know what was wrong with her.

bobbabob im a guy but untill i saw ammits post ive never heard anything bad
It messed me up a lot. Made me feel so sick. Then it raised my blood pressure so high I was on the verge of having to go to the doctor about it. Then when I went off it I had no period for like several months. Then after that I got like 2 a month. Its still really messed up and it's been a year since I've been off it.

I've never used it, but my sister did. Lets just say: Don't rely on just that. Use condoms too. She got pregnant with my youngest nephew when her oldest was only 4 months because she was depending on the shot to keep her protected.

Yeah, when I do end up starting birth control ill still use condoms or spermicides or something.
I don't want a child right now xD
