Arratixa was glad that their father finally decided it was a good time to take a break for a bit. They were in one spot for the rest of the day, sleep time then they were going to continue to where ever their father had planned on taking them this time. It's how they normally traveled, wander for about two days, stop and take a break for the day then continue for about two or three more days until they were where their father wanted to be, after than they would be there for a few weeks then it restarted.
Arr had never been more excited for a break before in her life. They were stopping at the big water! It was what her father liked to call the beach she was so excited for this day. Her father was resting in the shade of a tree with her other sisters as she excitedly bounded toward the shore."Don't go that far! Be careful Arra."Her small body paused for a moment before she looked back at her father and nodded. "Alright daddy!" She looked toward her sisters noticing that Ila was sleeping. She sighed slightly before looking toward her other sister. "Kena Come play with Arr!" She called out before bounding, Making sure her last step was on an even number of course, before splashing around in the water.

Makena'Lisedi had been just as excited to see the Big Water. Father had been talking about it for a good long time now, and as father said they were stopping here, she squealed.
It didnt take long for Arra to bounce off and rush towards the water. Makena had been working on getting there, so when her sister yelled to her, she cried out.
"Im coming Arra!"
She took off, white toed paws carrying her quickly as she raced as fast as her little self could to get to Arra's side.
She had never seen large bodies of water. The occasional watering hole was large, but it was no where near as big as father had said the Big Water was.
Ruby eyes glittered as they connected with her sisters.
She smiled and giggled, before yelling.
"Last one there is a rotten egg!"

Arr looked back at her sister before grinning a bit more as she caught up with her. She then looked forward at the water in front of them again with a large grin on her face. She was very excited. She watched the water rise up and down the shore. She looked back at her sister before then laughing slightly before licking her lips then laughed slightly.
"Arr won't lose race!" She laughed again as she continued to take off toward the water. The excitement was very obvious as she got closer to the water, She started to skitter into it, water splashing every where as she did. She smelt the air it was really salty her father already warned them that the water wasn't going to taste good at all. She decided to keep that in mind. she looked at her sister as she noticed her sister also in the water.
"Awh. I wasn't paying attention. Who won?"

"I think we both win!" Cheered the little female. She was always the type to be happy, and she felt no need to actually push for a winner of the race. It had been so lighthearted anyways.
She pranced in the waves that lapped over the tops of her paws and giggled.
"It tickles! And its cold!" She shivered, hopping around in the shallow end a bit and jumping amongst the shallow waters.

Arr glanced at her sister before he smile spread across her face before she moved toward her sister and nudged her a bit. "Yay! Arr likes that idea." She flicked her tail around before laughing a bit. "It issss." She made a small face before backing up some.
"Big water is coollld." she shook a bit trying to make it look even colder than it did, but she was pretty sure that her sister knew it wasn't that cold. She glanced back at her father and other sister before turning back toward Makena. "What do you want to do?"

Makena giggled, though she was not about to tell her sister the water was not as cold as she made it seem. Instead, she decided to start shivering with her sister and stepping around carefully as if the water was full of ice.
"Uhmm.."
She paused a bit, her tail swaying in the water. It was gravely weighed down by the weight of the water. She decided to just let it sink and wade through the water herself. Of course, she was a little deeper than she wanted to be.
"We could play tag in the water..Or we could explore fishies!"
She giggled.

Arr giggled a little more before bumping into her sister gently and nipping at her ear. She looked around at the water before licking her lips some and looking at the water. Her fathers voice reminding her that she shouldn't drink the water she made a face before looking around at the shiny slivers that were going around her.
"Arr wants to play with the fishes!" She giggled before bouncing around a bit in the place that she was standing. She was so excited to play with anything with one of her siblings, she loved them so much. She started to splash in the water a bit, bouncing toward the fish that were swimming around.

"Careful, Arr. We dont wanna go too far. Look, the fishies come close too." She said, her voice gentle as she watched a school of small, almost transparent fish darting around by the shore of the water.
Those, seemed fun to play with.
"Fishies!" She smiled, cheering as she ran. She loved to play with her sisters as well. She loved them almost as much as they loved her. They had remained a close knit family, after not being raised around a mother.
They were beginning to seek each other for their girly wiles.

Arr looked at her sister before pausing for a moment before grinning at her. "Kena's right." She nodded before trotting back toward her sister, splashing around in the water a bit as she did, amused by the feeling of the water, it didn't feel like lake water. Then again it could have been in her head. She was just so excited. She looked down at her paws as she wiggled them around in the water. She giggled a little more before looking toward her sister.
"Eii!" She squeaked before pouncing toward them. "Come on Fishes!" She squeaked as she looked at her sister with a grin. "They are meanies Kennaaa." She pouted a bit before playfully trotting toward her sister. The fact that they didn't have a mother really never crossed her mind. They went to visit her some times! that had to count for something!

Makena never really stopped to think about mother. She didn't have that connection, that made her mother even really... feel like her mother. When they did visit her, it was awkward for the cub. She disliked the lack of feeling there between her mother and herself.
But then again, she was a true daddy's girl.
"Fish arent mean silly!" She chuckled, and used her front paw to splash the water at her sisters body.
"They just swim better than we do." She giggled at that, because she knew that neither herself, nor Arr knew how to truly swim. Doggie paddle a few times maybe, but actually swim? Not at all.
"I think theyre so fast!" She beamed, amazed at the speed of the creatures.

Arr looked at her sister before shaking her head at her. "Well these fish are silly, Arr thinks." She nodded toward her sister then stuck her tongue out playfully at her sister before bounding by herself before looking at her. "We can kind of swim Kena!" She squeaked then nodded toward her, She was waiting for her father to start teaching them how to swim, he promised they would, slowly he was. He was more focused on trying to teach them how to hunt and find nice places to sleep. Things like that.
She watched the fish before grinning widely at her sister. "Arr thinks they are fast too!" She bounced toward Kena before nipping at her. "But we can run fast right Kena!?" She giggled before looking at her father. "Arr wants to run as fast as daddy though..." Her voice trailed.

"Yes, I suppose we can!" She smiled, bounding around in the water, feeling like running around in it was the equivalent to swimming. She smiled wide, and couldnt help but giggle as she tried to catch the fish underneath her paws.
They zigged and zagged around the cubs paws, in a fashion that was similar to teasing.
She couldnt help but want to just reach down with her mouth and catch one. Because she was starting to learn her paws werent fast enough.
But she decided that water up her nostrils wasnt something that sounded like much fun.
"Yes, we can." She nodded, nuzzling her sister, before resuming their play. She wanted to run fast like father, but she knew it would happen eventually. She just had to get longer legs, which she felt would happen over time.
Or at least, she hoped it did.

Arr nodded toward her sister before nipping at her. "Of course we can swimmm!" She giggled and trotted around in the water a bit then started to trot toward her nipping at her ears and then turning her attention toward the fish, trying her hardest to catch them. She was having a lot of fun at first however she was starting to get a little upset about the fact that she wasn't able to catch any of the said fish. She made a small face before flicking her tail around once more, looking around a bit as she did.
"Arr's tired." She huffed slightly as she looked at her sister. "Wanna see what Daddy's doing? Arr and Kena can take a nap." She nodded happily at the idea before trotting toward the shore.

Makena was just as bad at catching fish as her younger sister. She smiled, shaking her head. She understood the frustration of not being able to get one. But she was rather excited at the thought of getting some shut eye.
"Oh, its okay Arr. Daddy will be calling soon anyway."
She smiled brightly, flicking her tail and running from the waters to the shore.
The sand stuck to her feet, and she turned, looking back towards her sister.

Arr looked toward her sister before nodding in agreement. "Yeah, don't want to make daddy mad." She shook her head before trotting happily toward her father and sister. Of course keeping track of how many steps she was taking. She was also trying to keep the sand off of her paws. It was failing.
"I hope it's bath time." She said as they started to wander up. Today was a good day she hoped for more time like this with their father.
