Pilate had given birth to her cubs and all of them seemed to be growing healthy. To her delight, three of them were boys. She had kept part of the promise she had made a female cheetah a long long time ago. Now was time to really make sure that promise was kept. Pilate was sure that one of these boys in her group of three would be able to keep that promise.

Mii 'zer sat close by Pilate, mainly because it made him feel all that more important. The little blue cub wasn't an egotistical a*****e , he just was a bit of a attention whore. Okay, maybe that was an understatement.

Pilate didn't seem to notice he was sitting right by her, she was to focused on what she was about to say to her cubs. . . That was if she could get them to PAY ATTENTION. Laughing a bit Pilate lifted a paw.

"Alright cubs, alright. I think you are all old enough to hear your fate. " Mizer lifted an ear and peered up at his mother. What was she getting at?

Pilate cleared her throat and in a bit of a high pitched voice she cried, "CHILDREN PAY ATTENTION!" After the female felt she had the, some what, attention of her spawn, she nodded.

"Alright what I have to say is very important so listen closely. Long ago when I was just a cub my self I stumbled upon a female cheetah. This cheetah was under a curse. She can only love the one who defeats her and is doomed to a life where she constantly has to battle suitors. SO, that is where you boys come in," Pilate told the story a little too cheerfully. Mizer cooked a brow up at his mother.

"I don't see how this is at all interesting..." He grumbled . "Who would want to risk their life for some girl?" The blue cheetah made a face and was glared at by his mother.

"I only want the best of you three to go after her. If don't want to Mizer thats fine," She stuck her tongue out playfully at the little cub who looked angered. "But anyhow, there is a female out there that one day one of you will have the great honor to marry and love and set free. " The cheetah smiled at her four cubs. "So what do you guys think?"

Pilate reached over and pawed at her daughter winking, "And you my love I have not forgotten. You need to help your brothers train."

Pilate craned her neck and licked her Chen on the forhead, purring.

"It's alright Chen," She smiled at bother Mii 'zer and Chen. Mizer just glared at Chen and mumbled. Pilate rolled her eyes, but smiled. She loved her cubs to much to really raise her voice to them.

However, the cheetah turned her attention away from Mii 'zer, and instead focused on Chen. "A curse is something bad, it can be anything. But its something bad that can make you do things you don't want to do or have bad things happen to you... " She sighed, " I'd like it if one of you boys broke it."

How to describe the female? Pilate had to think long and hard about it... "Well.. she's purple.. and gave me food. So I like her," Yeah, Pilate was easy to please.

Mizer eyed his sister, ha, he had just realized that she had to sit this challenge out. He puffed out his chest proud to be able for this challenge. That was until mother spoke up.

"Hmmmmm, " She mused over Kar'Mah's points for a moment before nodding. "You're right! You're just as able as the boys and just as cunning. If you want to be a hero too you can sweetie." The cheetah licked her forehead, "That is if you want." Why did she just think the boys had to go through the challenge. Hell, Pilate could do the task her self, only, she already loved Rahvu. The green cheetah wanted Psyche to be defeated by some one who truly loved her.

Mizer grumbled and sank a bit. More competition. He'd have to prove him self twice as hard now. The boys tail twitched a tad annoyed.

Mizer stuck his tongue out at Kar'Mah, "Don't think I'll take you seriously." He scuffed. Still he was hurt that Pilate would open the challenge up to every one. He had felt special for being a boy and now it was proven that it didn't matter and he wasn't above anyone right then and there.

Resentment struck hard.

Pilate was a little oblivious that her children were having any sort of scuffle as she sat there like a proud parent.

She giggled at that, nearly rolling over on her belly in giggle fits.

"Yeah! We'll play races and tussle and Mii'zer can be the helpless lady!" it was a perfectly hilarious mental image as far as she was concerned. Mii'zer was probably her last candidate for the roll of the cursed female.

Despite the fact that she still thought dear mommy knew everything and could beat any other cat on the plains in fight the older cheetah was still her real first choice.

Chen blinked with a soft mew, what was momma unhappy? Why was Mii'zer angry? He darted to hide behind Pilate, peering out at his two siblings from behind her. Anger of any kind, frightened the happy-go-lucky cub and the safest place in the world was with momma.

When nothing happened, he eased out from behind her with a soft burbling sound as he went to try and nuzzle Mii'zer " come on bubba it will be fun! We can do it as a family!

Mii'zer Roared, best a cheetah could given a cheetah can't roar, and charged his sister. His intent to make her swallow those words. Only, Pilate picked him up like a little doll and set him next to her and Chen.

Pilate frowned, "You know the girl part doesn't mean a fragile little princess right. The rescuer could be beat too." The cheetah didn't want to mention the mounds of bodies she had found when she had visited this place. They were to young right now. The cheetah was going to have to train them the best she could to make sure none of them ended up a body in one of those mounds.

"The princess defeated many of her suitors. " Pilate frowned at them. "You all have to take this seriously and work together," She stared at Mizer who only looked at his front paws.

Pilate nodded, "Thats true. And there are two of you so you guys should all partner up and switch off being the girl." The blue cub frowned and laid down his face a huge scowl at some random blade of grass he forced him self to stare a hole threw.

"Stupid girls..." He muttered. Pilate shook her head and couldn't help but laugh. These brats cubs were gonna be a paw full.

"Now Mizer, " Pilate coiled her tail around Chen, "You and you're sister are going to be partners for the week. Chen and Usingizi you two will be partners for the week," She gave a pleased smile to all four her cubs.
