So there is this dude I kinda like and I gave him my number at a party on Saturday but one of my friends is also into him. She just won't make the first move, and I made it clear at the party that I was into him. As far as I'm concerned you can't call dibs on a dude, and I have every right to go after him, but I feel sorta bad too. D:
What do you think?

Morde shouldn't have to explain unless the girl makes a big deal out of it. Then, she can say that Miss Girlface made no attempt/gave no hints at liking him.

You shouldn't feel bad.
As you stated, you can't call dibs, or claim a guy, and it's stupid to attempt to do so, because in "claiming" a guy, does not mean he will like you back.
Anyway, you made a move first, and you have every right to go after him.
She's snoozing, so she's losing. (that sounds a bit lame, but whatever xD)

When people don't tell the people they like that they like them and still expect them to psychically know that they're interested somehow.
