Rachel was seated neatly on the grace outside of the facility, a scarf neatly wrapped around his neck as he awaited the arrival of a student. He'd been informed that this boy had strange 'tentawings' and the man had no idea whether or not they'd be safe to train, so he'd made an activity the child could do with either his arms or his wings.
Items of varying sizes and weights were lined up along the grass. Each item would be lifted a few times before a heavier one was moved on to. Between each of these, the boy would be allowed to rest a few moments and have a drink of juice, and maybe a cookie. The juiceboxes and cookies were in a bag beside Rachel as he waited. Now Kyler just had to show up.

Kyler was guided by Tykier to Rachel, Tui and La 'looked' around at their surroundings. They knew exactly where they were. Kyler knew, too, and was afraid a bit. He didn't know that he wasn't meeting Mr. Vampy, he just knew that he was heading back to that dreaded building.
Tykier smiled, "Calm down, Kyler. Don't worry. Remember? If you get scared then I feel that." Last time Rachel saw Ty, Tykier's feathers were smaller, but now, they grew bountiful, and big. And there were scars all over his body. He could see Rachel waiting for them, "Hey, there, Rachel! How goes it?"
The blind boy looked up, "Rachel? Who's that?"

Rachel glanced up and waved a bit. He remembered Tykier - the boy who'd ended up crashing headfirst into the ground on one of his first attempts at landing. Nice enough kid, really. He'd grown well too.
"Hey there, Tykier. Is this Kyler?" he inquired.

"Yeah... This is Kyler. And his tentawings, Tui and La." Tykier walked up to Rachel.
Tui waved at Rachel, while La wrapped himself around Kyler. Being protective. Kyler smiled, "Hi."
"So what will he be learning," Tykier inquired.

"Nice to meet you." he intoned, nodding his head to the boy and his wings. "Just some basic strength training. I had no clue if his wings would be up to lifting things and moving them but I figured it would work for both his arms and his wings."

Tykier nodded, "Okay... Kyler..." He looked down to the boy, "I will be back to get you. Tui, La. You two do well." He got back up from his knees, and turned to Rachel, and smiled, "So long for now!" Tykier walked off.
Kyler smiled at his brother's statement, "Okay..." His tentawings, as though to hear Tykier, nodded a response.

Rachel smiled a little. "So, ready to try out lifting things? I've got juice and cookies for when you need a break, but the way I'm going to do this is have you lift a few reps - that means sets of a number of times you lift something - and then sit down and have a coupla cookies and a juice before going on. Any questions?"

Kyler smiled, "Where are you?" That was a good question, right? His cheeks blushed as he asked the question.

Rachel raised a brow. Had he seen something in the notes about this kid being blind? He wasn't really sure. Standing up, the man walked over to place a hand lightly on Kyler's arm. "I'm here."

Kyler flinched a bit, but began to relax, "Okay... What do I do first?" Tui, being herself, gently wrapped around Rachel's arm. La slowly became friendly, and took himself off of Kyler. The small Lust spawn smiled very sheepishly, knowing that Tui was trying to explore Rachel, "Tui... Let go of our teacher!" At that, Tui, sadly, let go.

Rachel snorted. "Those things seem quite hard to control on every student who has come in with them. Though, one girl did manage to master playing DDR with them."
Showing the boy over to where he'd put the first item, a small two pound dumbbell covered in rubber, he waited. "Here." the man intoned, handing the objects to Kyler. "Lift them a few times with your hands and then see if you can make Tui and La do it."
