What do you think about him?
If you like him expain why. Do not just say something alone the line of...He's stupid. If you don't like him explain why. If you like him explain why.
If you get upset make sure to remember the tos. These are just opinions. So do not get upset.
Heres what I think. I think I don't know if he is a good president yet or not. He's not been in office very long, and I think he is trying to keep at the low. Also I know that the economy will take a while to show if its getting better or worse. So its to early to tell if he's putting forth any real effort yet.

I'm not so into politics but I don't see him doing anything wrong so he seems good so far. ^-^
& he seems to be putting alot of effort in changing things which is what we need.

That means humility is the greatest virtue.
Well, he hasn't pissed me off like Bush did yet, and as I've said previously, his attempt at improving health care is impressive to me. The likelyhood of that happening is slim, but still a valor attempt XD

I have to say that as a voter of Obama, that I truly am happy with him thus far. His attempts to help the middle and lower class have made me much happier with him than I was with Bush.
I didn't mind Clinton's party, but then Bush came along and messed everything up. Now Obama is trying to clean up the mess. He's trying to help what class my family happens to fall into. Lower.
The medical changes helps. The health care plan is really going to help because I can't afford to go out and BUY health insurance, and unfortunately I am the type of person that has to have it, I'm a very sickly individual. With an infant child who needs as much care as possible.
He is denying senate pay raises left right and center and taking the money that they would have used as their new swimming pool or whatever and using it for a stimulus package for the economy. More than Bush did, who said OKAY to Senate raising their pay checks while we in the real world are struggling to keep our heat on and food in our childrens' bellies.
He has a new program out that will help those who may not have the best credit in the world get a mortgage to purchase a house, so that perhaps the economy will go up. Hes actually trying.
So what if he is muslim. Everyone says well he's muslim, he's a terrorist, he's going to bomb our country. He's going to allow them to come in and turn our country into hell. Hate to say it but he really can't do any worse than Bush did.
Or really than any other president.
Every President did horrible in some way or another.
I am just so anti Bush administration right now, that I have a hard time seeing anything good out of those eight years of him being in office. Not that I have anything against anyone who may like Bush...
Everyone has their own opinion...
And now that my rant is semi over...I think I'm going to try and get some protein in my system so that my sugar high comes down...
I tend to rant...A lot when someone starts mentioning Obama...

As a Canadian who's not that interested in politics, I can only say I hope for the best to happen in the U.S. I haven't seen Obama make any bad decisions yet, so I view him as a good person. He seems to have good plans.
I've been doing a bit of research for an essay on whether the U.S. should adopt Canadian Health Care or not, or whether there should be some of both. It would be cool to hear your opinions on this subject, to see real views and not just facts, along with views on Obama.

Very well said PhoenixHenkan. I feel the same way at this point. smile I just hope he will be able to fix some of the mess Bush put our country in.
effer- I will have to look into Canadian health plan information before I give you my opinion. I will try and get back to you on that though. smile

So yea, Obamas coming to that meeting in copenhagen today.
Sorta hoping he'll be as sensible as Bush (hopefully more) on this subject.*
*Climate being the only think Bush got right if I remember correctly.

His effort to improve health care is really awesome to me. smile Its a good attempt but I also agree with the democrats on this debate. I think they should make a thing where the costs are lower so they bigger guys lower theirs. Anyway. I think he a great president so far. He hasnt mad me mad by doing something stupid.

I think he's alright, he seems to be voicing more of an active effort, though I'm not too sure yet how effective he's been. Also he got a Nobel Peace Prize... for what? ha not too sure really, I think that was slightly premature. I have high hopes for him but things don't seem to be going the way of his projected plans. Use what you have, and trust in what you use... as I like to say. hahaha ok I don't really say that but I like to think it sometimes.

He got the Nobel Peace Prize, if I remember right, as a way of saying something about how we're being supported and he WILL do a good job. That he is believed in. I can't really remember what all the stats were on what everyone said it was for now, as my son is screaming for me to get up...But I'm pretty sure that was it.
